Hi! Welcome to my page & thanks for visiting! I'm delighted to be back (October 2025) & I will update my details & reviews over the next while.

Q. How do you start every wedding day?
Prepared but a little bit anxious.

Q. Why?
Because no two couples are the same & what works for one may not work for another. But I guess that's where the preparation comes in & it's why I like to chat with you before your wedding so that I can get to know you a little, discover your priorities & how you'd like your day captured.

Q. If you could only give one tip for the day, what would it be?

That the bride goes first or second for hair & makeup. That way you get to enjoy the morning & the preps & are less likely to get stressed. If you leave your house feeling in-control then your day is likely to go much more smoothly than if you're feeling rushed.

I'm a full time award winning professional wedding photographer & member of the IPPA, & have qualified to the AIPPA level, which is reserved to those photographers who have a high level of technical ability & a strong photographic style.

We got married after Covid and had to reschedule a few times, but Deirdre was incredibly flexible and understanding throughout it all. She stayed positive and supportive, which made a stressful situation much easier. On the day itself, she was such a joy to have around — fun, relaxed, and full of creative ideas that really brought out the best in everyone. She made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, and it shows in the beautiful photos she captured. The final images were stunning, natural, and perfectly reflected the atmosphere of our day. We would definitely recommend Deirdre if you’re looking for a professional and genuine photographer!

Planning and preparing for the big day is hectic with so many moving parts; however, you can make life easier by working with Deirdre. From booking through to after the wedding sharing the photographs was highly professional and made easy. We both genuinely enjoyed working with Deirdre who took amazing pictures, capturing the day perfectly, and set an ideal balance between getting the photographs needed and making it thoroughly enjoyable. Storm winds on the beach were just an extra challenge to her which made for amazing memories. I couldn’t recommend Deirdre more as your wedding photographer and am so glad we found her. Thank you so much Deirdre!!!

It doesn't leave much for me to say other than you were a joy to work with, you made the day so easy & you were so patient & easy going that it inspired me to bring you across the road to the beach that night. I'd (conveniently 😂) forgotten about the stormy beach but the sky was a beautiful blue & even looking back at those night pictures you were both so composed, the sun could've been shining 😂 Thank you both sincerely 😍❤️😍

Deirdre was the photographer for our summer wedding in North Mayo and what a talent she is! She made sure she had her homework done by researching the area and choosing the optimal locations for our photos, as well as having a plan B in the event of rain! We are genuinely thrilled with our photos. Deirdre was a pleasure to deal with, made us feel relaxed which is key to good photos!

Deirdre was the photographer for our wedding in Galway on 24 March 2017 and we simply can't recommend her highly enough. Deirdre is a complete professional, a pleasure to work with and highly organised. The photographs perfectly capture the atmosphere of our day and bring back all the memories! She helped plan the location for the bridal party photos, which were exquisite, and unobtrusively took fab photos of our guests while family members were rounded up. Both we and our families are thrilled with the photos, a number of which will be framed!

Deirdre was absolutely amazing and on the ball since the very beginning. She was available via email any time of the day and answered any questions we had no matter how small. It was how she was after the wedding that blew me away. She was ever so patient and helpful when it came for us to narrow down our pics for the photo album. Even though her job of taking the pictures was done she was still so helpful and available afterwards. The best photographer without a doubt.

My wedding album is something I will treasure for life. Deirdre's attention to detail on the editing of the album made all the difference. The photography itself was fabulous but Deirdre really put alot of work into putting them together in the album and they really came to life. I would not hesitate to highly recommend her.
