Over the years one of my favourite things to capture has been the natural expressions and raw emotion of someone, when they don’t know the camera is there. But it wasn't until after my own wedding that I decided to step into wedding photography.While planning our wedding, myself and my fiancé were struck with the lack of photographers offering the service we wanted. Someone non-intrusive, who would capture the type of photographs we wanted, in a time frame we decided at a price that we could afford.So I decided to offer tailored packages that allow you to choose the elements you want for your wedding. We booked Deryck for our wedding in May 2012 based on his amazing photos of my sister's wedding in 2010. He did not disappoint! He was amazing on the day - very professional, discreet but also very fun and easy going. We wanted mostly candid shots but with some family posed shots thrown in for good measure and Deryck's style fitted the bill perfectly! We had an amazing day and so much fun taking the photos - one thing that struck me was how we weren't hanging around for ages to get the perfect shot, a couple of clicks and we were able to move on which meant we had more time to spend with our guests before dinner. When we got the photos we were blown away - they were way better than we ever could have expected! The posed family shots are amazing and we will treasure them forever but the magic was in the small touches - he captured the little looks and gestures between myself and my husband that a photographer shooting only posed shots would never have being able to replicate. Deryck captured our personalities in a fun, laid back way and the only problem is trying to chose photos for the album as the choice is insane! I have no hesitations in recommending Deryck, in fact I already have many times and I know they were all as thrilled with the results as I was.

I never expected it to be so much fun, Deryck is so friendly & engaging while also being so professional & having a keen eye for what would make a great shot even better! My fianc? & I spent the entire engagement shoot smiling, laughing & giggling about the various photos, at no point did we feel ubcomfortable & that's all down to Deryck. Words fail me when I try to describe how much fun we had and how super talented Deryck is.
I would highly recommend that everyone treats themselves to an engagement shoot, not only will you have a fab day & create a memory that'll last a lifetime but you'll have some pretty spectacular photographs to share with friends & family too! Thanks again Deryck, we can't wait for the wedding now!!!
