Daniel is an amazing photographer. I cannot recommend him enough. He keeps in contact the whole way through up to and including the big day. He was very flexible with us when some last minute issues popped up. He blends into your wedding day and most of the time you don't even know he is there. He is very talented and I would recommend him to anyone.

From the moment we first contacted Daniel we knew that he was the perfect photographer for us. He greeted us in his house like friends and went through every aspect of the day and what would happen. Even when we had to cancel twice due to covid he couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding with everything. He was so relaxed on the morning of the wedding and really put the rest of us at ease as he went about his business, you wouldn’t know he was there at all. There was no time wasted with him at any stage and he had everything planned perfectly. Our photos have turned out better than we could have imagined and all in the completely stress free way that Daniel created. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

We had Daniel as our Wedding photographer on December 23rd 2021- we were so lucky to have our day, and luckier to have Daniel document the whole thing. We had a good feeling about him from the start, sharing video calls with him before the big day, and he made sure to get a list of our must-have shots. We ended up with all of these, and so many more happy action shots. Daniel was like part of the furniture, catching candid shots of our morning preparations. We had decided to meet just the two of us before the ceremony, and again Daniel managed to capture all of this in first look shots without intruding on our time together. We have some amazing smiling and dancing photos of our 25 guests too. On top of all this, the finished photographs were shared with us securely online, and the interface where we can choose our favourite shots is so easy for a client to use. If you are looking for great quality photographs, without the pressure of a photo-shoot, Daniel is your man. I think his approach really suits smaller weddings, as he didn't impose on anybody or pull us away from our guests at all.

Daniel is a spectacular wedding photographer! We originally found Daniel by looking through photographers on Instagram. We liked the bright, vibrant and natural photo style, which is why we booked him! Daniel shows great attention to detail and this showed from the very beginning of our wedding day in December 2021! He arrived to both the Bride and Grooms houses, and photographed some lovely moments from early on in the morning. Throughout the day he blended in seamlessly and moved throught he crowd with ease, capturing natural moments - it is worth noting that he was super smooth in the church where he was in stealth mode ????!! He was very familiar with our reception venue, which meant he knew the 'good spots' for amazing photos, and this meant that we did not lose valuable time on the day trying to find good photos locations. This gave us critical time back to enjoy the drinks’ reception with all of our guests and family. Everything was seamless with Daniel. He has been working in the wedding industry for a long time, and this was very apparent in his calm, professional relaxed and efficient approach, from start to finish. In person, Daniel was very funny and organised, yet went with the flow we wanted on the day. This made all the difference to us on the big day and enhanced our wedding day as a result. We were delighted to work with Daniel on our wedding. Early on in our wedding planning, we decided what style of photography we would like, and contacted Daniel after coming across his website. We spent an hour on the phone with him before confirming the booking and it was clear from the call that he held the highest standards in wedding photography, and had exactly the approach we were looking for. We had to postpone our wedding due to government restrictions and Daniel was very accommodating as we rearranged. On the day, Daniel was completely professional and very quickly put us at ease. Daniel is the only person you want as your wedding photographer. The pictures are brilliant. As you can see from some of ours. And even with the times were are in now with Covid-19, he promised us our deposit back. Thankfully it didn't get that far. Due to Covid we ended up cancelling our plans for the big wedding day and having a very scaled back day with only 18 guests at a much smaller venue, and only decided 4 days before the wedding to book a photographer. We cannot recommend Daniel highly enough. From every aspect of the process he has been the perfect photographer. Even before we booked him, his blogs which are available on his site are so helpful with different aspects of planning the wedding and what you need to consider with a photographer. We found him based on a recommendation from a friend and as soon as we saw his work we knew we wanted him. Any request we had was handled with ease by him on the day and apart from the photos we wanted him to take you would have hardly known he was there. He just blended in and got the most amazing pictures. We received our photos and slideshow the other day and we cant help but look at them again and again. Each time it brings back the joy and happiness of the day. Thank you for everything Daniel.

We booked Daniel about 14 months before our wedding off the back of Instagram pictures, primarily, and the good reviews online for DK Photo. I knew I wanted our photographer to have worked at our venue before, which Daniel had. The booking confirmation process was straight forward and we didn’t have much interaction again with Daniel until the 1-2 months before the wedding at which point we received a questionnaire to complete. Daniel was very helpful answering a few queries from me in the week of the wedding, mainly down to umbrella choice for the pictures as we were expecting rain! On the morning of the wedding, Daniel arrived professional, friendly and unassuming – traits that were consistent throughout the whole day. I sat down with him for about 15 mins that morning to talk through the day discussing any specific pictures we wanted, timings, tips and advice from him etc. Having vendors who are directive and make you feel confident that they know what they are doing is so important. When the time came for us to get our couple and family pictures after the ceremony it was swift and we got back to our guests quickly. Daniel just did his thing for the rest of the day and we barely noticed him taking any pictures for the rest of the day. His interactions with all our vendors (hotel, makeup, hair, band etc.) was always polite and respectful. The lead time was two months in getting our pictures back and without a sneak peek (which was tough when we didn’t have a videographer and had very few pictures of ourselves taken by friends and family who were too busy enjoying their day, and rightly so!). Daniel did set this expectation with us at the time of the wedding so it was just a matter of waiting impatiently to see the magic. ???? We got our pictures back and are absolutely over the moon – I can’t stop looking at them. Daniel captured so many wonderful candid moments of ourselves, of friends, of family. The slideshow to music of our choice (we chose our ceremony songs) was stunning and really took us back to our day. He even managed to bring “sunlight” to our pictures using tricks on what was a pretty damp November day. I have shared some pictures with friends and family and there is nothing but praise for them – all the special moments are now there forever for us. Thrilled! Thank you so much Daniel.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We cannot thank Daniel enough for the amazing photos of our wedding. We are absolutely blown away by them. He did not miss a moment and captured the magic of the whole day. Daniel is absolutely brilliant at his job, we did not want to have to stand around for loads of posed photographs on the day of our wedding and wanted to have photos of everyone generally having a good time. We received our photos from our wedding in November recently and we are so delighted. They are better than we could have hoped for. The beautiful photographs really document the whole day and remind us of the atmosphere. On the day itself Daniel was very quiet, in fact so quiet and unobtrusive that when we received the photographs we didn't even remember noticing him taking a lot of the pictures. He also managed to achieve absolutely gorgeous photos of the bridal party and family in about 20 minutes without any fuss. We hardly stood still at all. He achieved all of this while handing crutches too and from the groom who unfortunately had a broken leg (but you can't tell in the photos)! Overall I cannot recommend him enough, he prefers documentary style photography, his photographs are beautiful and well edited and he was a pleasure to deal with.

When we seen Daniel's photos online we knew he was the photographer for us. Daniel was so professional from start to finish. He worked with us to get the pictures we wanted. The weather wasnt great but we still managed to get some amazing photos outside with the help of daniel. We had two small kids at the wedding that were a bit over whelmed with everything going on but Daniel helped to make them feel at ease too and got some lovely photos of them that we will treasure forever. Daniel is literally the quintessential, dream, wedding photographer. If he is available for your date, book him IMMEDIATELY!! We simply can not recommend him enough. We organized our wedding from the USA and he made everything ridiculously straight-forward. Communication was always super efficient. On the day, he has a wonderful calm and gentle presence. I have no idea how we are going to narrow it down to pick our favorites for an album. He has a knack for capturing so many natural, precious moments...many of which I didn't even notice on the day! If it is possible, he somehow documents your day to look even more fabulous and magical than you realize on the day. He is so much more than a photographer. Daniel was so easy to work with! We live in California and Daniel was able to coordinate most details through email. We had time the morning of the wedding to discuss how the day will progress and Daniel gave pointers to keep the day smooth. We had a list of photos we wanted, Daniel got them all while also getting lots of candid shots which are wonderful. Our only problem now is trying to decide which photos to put in our album.

When we got engaged we knew that after the venue the photographer was the most important aspect of the day as we did not want a videographer. After loads of research we found Daniel. He was really easy to deal with and really helped up when organising the photography package. On the day of the wedding Daniel was lovely to deal with. You didn't even know he was there.He was so relaxed which is exactly how we wanted the day to go. He captured every minute of the day so well. I would highly recommend using DKphoto.

We had our wedding on March 8, 2019 and had Daniel do our photography. I cannot recommend Daniel enough, we really wanted an non-intrusive photographer, who took very candid, non posed shots throughout the day, along with some nice posed ones and this is exactly what we got. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I knew from the moment I started to plan my wedding that I had to check if Daniel was available first, before booking any dates for a venue, as there was no one else I was going to have as my photographer. Daniel is just wow, my wife and myself are amazed with him. He is just fantastic man, we are deaf couple, he wasn’t nervous about us being deaf, he used gestures to communicate with us so there was no communication-barrier between us. he make us feel relaxing and keep us happy. We had him from 10 in morning till to roughly at 9 or 10pm, we didn’t even noticed that he was there and he still took pictures of us. Photo booth was brilliant, all of our guests loved it! His pricing is well worth it. If we have to do wedding again, Daniel will be our first choice without a question. Our wedding was supposed to be on 11th of November but Daniel wasn’t available so we changed our date to 24th of November because he was available on that day, we only changed the date because we want him to be our photographer. Ten out of ten, brilliant photographer and really lovely man.

Where do I start about Daniel what a great guy and one hell of a photographer, the one thing I didn't want was someone in my face all day and a massive thing for both me and my husband was that we got to enjoy the day with our guest that was so important and we did and still got out amazing pictures that we will be forever in awh over! One item I wanted to make sure i got right was the photographer, i was happy to cut back on something else to ensure I had a REALLY GOOD photographer as this is what we would have to look back on for the rest of our lives. We booked (DKPhoto) Daniel over a year in advance of our wedding, we met Daniel at his home where we went through the different packages and what they included etc.. This was very helpful as we got to meet Daniel in person and walked us through all the packages and what a typical day for him would be on a wedding day in regards to timings and locations etc.. Daniel was absolutely excellent on the day, he turned up at the time we agreed on and straight away started to work with the bride and bridesmaids while they got ready that morning. Throughout the day we did not even notice Daniel at the church or the reception and we also had a Videographer, Robin from Celtic Video who worked absolutely brilliant with Daniel without any interruptions to us on the day. We went to Dunmore East in Co.Waterford for some photos after the ceremony where Daniel from the very start advised us how to stand, where to put our arms, and where to look in order to get the best shots possible. For us this was great as we didn't know how to stand or where to look when the photos were being taken. From the off without even asking Daniel he straight away advised us on each shot he was taking on how to do all of this. Anything we asked of Daniel it was no issue whatsoever if we wanted photos at any stage during the night or with some guests he was on hand straight away, it was like he knew. Daniel was the first supplier we booked once the date and venue had been decided as it was the one supplier I did not want to compromise on for our wedding day. We fell in love with his relaxed, unposed, quirkier style of photography. We are so glad our date was available as we can honestly say he is an incredible photographer and lovely person to have as part of your wedding day. We were blessed with a wonderful dry but cold Winter's day. Daniel worked quickly and efficiently for the outdoor pictures in the wood (to keep us from freezing!) and with great ease considering myself and my husband aren't huge photograph people. This meant we got to enjoy almost all our drinks reception with our guests which was important to us, but without compromising the quality of our wedding pictures ofcourse. The outdoor pictures of us and our bridal party are amazing, but I feel Daniels magic really shows in the pictures he catches in the moments nobody knows he's there. I have just received my photos from Daniel, to say I'm happy with them is an understatement!! As a bride travelling to a foreign country for her wedding I knew that I needed a photographer that I could rely on. Though I knew based off of previous reviews that Daniel would be good, on my wedding day he exceeded all of my expectations. Daniel took extra time to scope out places for us to take photos and was incredibly flexible throughout my wedding day as the schedule was a bit fluid. Daniel has the ability to both give direction when you are looking for a special shot, and melt in to the background during important moments (I didn't even notice him during the ceremony!). And on top of all that he produces amazing picture. If you are getting married in Ireland, hands down, hire Daniel.

From day one Daniel was extremely responsive and professional which is very important especially when you have other suppliers you feel like you have to chase all the time. This wasn't the case with Daniel as I would always get a response within the same day. We didn't meet Daniel until the day of the wedding but he was like a ninja and only for the odd click of the camera you could barely tell he was around. All our guests said how amazing he just blended in and was not intrusive in any way which led to amaxing candid shots of ourselves and our guests. Unlike stories iv heard of people spending hours taking photos, our photos after the ceremony felt like they flew by with ease and daniel managed to capture some absolutely stunning photos. We got our photos back 8 weeks after the wedding but Daniel advised this may be the case as he was extremely busy at the moment. For us, the photographer was one of the most important choices we had to make for our wedding day (You spend so much time, money, and effort on this one day that you want to remember it forever, and your photos are inevitably how you will remember it.) We spent months pouring over the sea of photographers out there, we met some at wedding fairs, found others online, and had some recommended by family and friends. We came close to booking one local photographer when we came across DKphoto on a popular Irish wedding blog. Daniel's photographs spoke for themselves and after looking through his galleries we contacted him for availability. Daniel responded right away and was immediately warm and accommodating. We were getting married in a remote spot in West Cork and although he was based in Dublin/Kildare he was happy to travel to us and immediately gave us a more than fair price to travel to our wedding (price transparency is so important when you're budgeting). We had never met Daniel prior to booking and made the huge decision of our wedding photographer based on his photographs and online reviews... we were not disappointed. On the day of our wedding Daniel was professional, charming, and unassuming. We never felt like we were having our photographs taken, we were just enjoying our day with family and friends and it was all captured so beautifully. We had some family group photographs (which took no time at all) and some photographs of just us. Daniel guided us for these photographs without being intrusive so that we felt relaxed and at ease and the moments he captured were candid and real rather than forced and staged. 8 weeks after the wedding we received our wedding photographs (I believe this is longer than usual for DKPhoto and we were advised on the day of some very understandable circumstances that had caused a longer than usual delay in having photographs ready, so don't take it that this is standard as I don't believe it is. We had no problem in waiting, they were worth it). Our photographs are ones we will treasure forever. They capture parts of the day that each of us had not seen; fleeting moments of emotions that only a wedding day can conjure, an intimate glance, a cheeky giggle, a runaway tear.. and we have them captured beautifully to keep forever. All in all, everyone wants a wedding photographer who can put them at ease on the day and takes great photographs. You can tell from meeting him that Daniel is experienced, talented, and loves what he does. If you're not sold by that, you will be when you see the photographs. We could not recommend enough.

We just love our wedding photos! Since booking DKPHOTO, we never worried about how they would turn out. We did not think twice after seeing some of Daniel's work first hand. The natural shots blew us away. We had been to a couple of weddings before ours where Daniel was the photographer, and never even noticed he was there! It felt the same on our day. The week we got our photos from Daniel was such an unproductive week for myself, my sisters, and my mother - we gazed at the photos 12 - 13 times per day for the entire week and more..... we were blown away by them! We have just received our photos and are in love with every single one of them. From the start Daniel was amazing. He always responded to emails quickly and professionally. It was great to know we had nothing to worry about on the day. He had the perfect balance of posed and natural photos. You don't need to look any further for photographers because Daniel is the best in the business. After scrolling through numerous pages on Google trying to find a photographer for our wedding, I luckily came upon his page. We were trying to meet him prior to our wedding to discuss a plan but with hindsight there really was no need. He is at the top of his game and knows exactly what shots to take and when to take them. His use of natural light is amazing and this is what sets him apart. Daniel, We can't thank you enough for the most amazing photo shoot you did for us a couple of months ago. We wanted to capture our happiness not only in Poland where we got married but also in our home where we are going to spend the rest of our days together. I am a keen amature photographer so our wedding photographs was up there with the most important aspect of our planning. I did a HUGE amount of research. I wanted a photographer who would capture our day as it happened, I didn't want someone who was going to make us pose into situations that would happen naturally over the course of the day anyway! (smiling/laughing/pretend waving!!) So eventually (and thankfully) i came accross Daniel from Dk Photo. From the first email Daniel was brilliant. We had our contracts out in a few days and nothing was of any hassle. We filled out a questionaire about what we were hoping to get out of our photos and what was the most important photos we wanted. A few weeks before our Wedding Daniel requested a list of photos we wanted. Daniel brought this on the day and worked off it...it meant we missed no group shots or family shots. The day goes by so so fast its so easy done. When Daniel arrived the morning of the wedding we had a chat for 10mins about possibile delays...for example...if i was delayed putting on my dress would he go to the church and get guests arriving or stay for the dress photos. This way there was no extra pressure and Daniel just worked off what we had agreed. We got back our photos today and they are more than we could ever wish for. From the littlest detail to the most important shots, nothing has been left out. Daniel told us it would be two months approx for our photos to be ready, exactly two months to the day we have them. We also had DK Photos photobooth, the night of the wedding we had an album with all our photos in it , along with a USB of all images. Martin who looked after it was a really nice guy and kept it running smoothly. The photos were brilliant and so great to look through the next day. If you are reading this and wondering if you should book DK Photos...just do it! You wont be disappointed. We are absolutely blown away by our wedding photos. I researched photographers for quite some time before choosing DK photo, and I'm so glad we did - we definitely made the right choice! My husband and I where planing our honeymoon in Ireland and we wanted to have a wedding section during the trip to capture the special moment. We got Married in Dublin in August 2016 and Daniel photographed our special day. The short review is that he did an outstanding job. The longer story is that we don't live in Ireland and so we thought that organising our wedding day from abroad would be hard because we did not have any connections or recommendations for providers (most of our friends here have long been married).S o we started looking around online and we immediately fell in love with Daniel's website and his instagram account. As daunting as it might be to agree with someone online to photograph your wedding, we have no regrets. Daniel was very responsive from the very beginning. He always replied very promptly to our emails and on the day he was there well ahead of time. He was really relaxed, kind and very patient, which is what you need on your wedding day. We didn't have many requests for specific pictures, but Daniel attended to every single request, and then some. On the spur of the moment, I asked him to photograph my wedding dress hanging on the staircase of the Shelbourne. The photos of the dress are simply stunning. The pictures he took are all amazingly beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. He was able to capture very well our style and the atmosphere on the day, which is a skill when you only meet the couple on the day. I didn't have bridesmaids (because it would have implied organizing things between 3 countries), yet Daniel made sure my dress was always picture ready, thus showing ihs patience and care towards his work and us. After the wedding, Daniel continued to surprise us with his professionalism and prompt responses to our requests to see the pictures. We could not have asked for a better photographer. The photos are just stunning (have I said that before?!). Daniel has captured our special day so elegantly and professionally. All the photos he took capture so well our wedding and will be a great memory in the years to come. We now want to order the album which also looks so magical. I don't even know where to start, so I guess I will start with saying that Daniel was an amazing photographer. The images he captured of our wedding day are breathtaking and really illustrative of our wedding day. What's most impressive is his ability to capture so being different aspects of the day. Further, he had great ideas about how to best capture us and our family on film without being intrusive. My favorite thing though was his fun and adventurous nature. He scoped out a few different places for us to take some amazing outdoor picture, and was more than happy to follow us down a rocky beach to get images of us right next to the water. In terms of working with Daniel, he was great. He was very responsive to any and all communications and was well prepared with a list of "must-haves" for the day. Also, he was able to get us our photos in a relatively short window of time, which was great! Overall, I would highly recommend DK Photo to any bride. We had only a small ceremony planned, but we still wanted to keep the memories of The Day on pictures. From the day we came across DKphoto work, we knew that the pictures HAVE TO be taken by Daniel. We were mesmerised by the atmosphere created on photographs and ways the scenes were captured. The Day blessed us with decent weather (despite the storm the night before) and we met Daniel for our photo-shoot. From the day we first met Daniel and booked him for our wedding, we both knew we were in safe hands. His relaxed yet professional manner in the lead up to the wedding was so re-assuring, and made it so much easier to ask the millions of questions we had about our photographs! I found DKPHOTO on OneFabDay and loved his selection of work on his website which included a mix of everything from detail to portrait and most importantly for us his reportage style using vibrant colour. Daniel took fantastic photos for our engagement shoot, , he came up with fun ideas and we were delighted when he said we could even bring our dog Dino. I can honestly say that choosing Daniel as our wedding photographer was the easiest part of our wedding planning. There were obvious advantages, the amount of time that Daniel was prepared to give, the competitively priced packages but what really put him ahead of the rest was the quality of his work?.truly breathtaking photos. Unfortunately the day we got married the sky was grey and it rained but we had a secret weapon, we had Daniel and none of that mattered. Despite the weather we got beautiful, colourful and creative photos. Daniel was fantastic on our wedding day. Some of our friends getting married disappeared for hours for their wedding photos, this totally took from their enjoyment of the day. We wanted Daniel because after looking at his work, we could see he really captured those candid moments that truly document the event. We saw Daniel's work at a friend's wedding and knew straight away that we wanted him to take our wedding pictures. The main draw was that his photographs are so natural and not posed. And we were not disappointed. From our first meeting with Daniel he was totally professional and had alot of good ideas for us. He arrived at 8am on the wedding day and stayed until 10.30pm and as a result we now have a beautiful photobook and slideshow which capture the whole day perfectly. We decided against a videographer and it was the correct decision as having the slideshow is as good as having a video. Our photographs were ready when we got back from honeymoon and the whole process of picking our photos and getting our photobooks only took a 2 months. On the whole we cannot say enough good things about Daniel and his wife Anna who put so much work into designing our photobook and slideshow. They did a fantastic job and we wouldn?t hesitate in recommending them to anyone else.

We hired Daniel for our wedding celebration in Dublin. As we do not live in Ireland, we were concerned about not having the opportunity to meet a photographer in advance of our big day. But we felt very reassured by Daniel?s prompt replies to email, his eagerness to understand our taste and requirements, his attention to detail in planning, and by a straightforward but detailed contract. On the day Daniel and his assistant were a source of calm, taking hundreds of photos without ever getting in the way. From the moment that we started to discuss our wedding day plans with Daniel, we found him extremely friendly and helpful. Looking at his portfolio you can tell that he has gathered many years of experience and a full portfolio to help guide you to decide what kind of pictures you want (Traditional, Modern, Natural, Funny etc.). Daniel was happy to provide us with examples of work he has done before so we could gauge what kind of look/effect we thought would work for us. On our Wedding day Daniel was an absolute delight to work with. He was always in the right place at the right time, but didn’t take the focus (pardon the pun) off of us or disrupt the joy of the day. Daniel went above and beyond to help make our special day, which included him working over 12 hours (he left at 1am which was later than some of our guests !). He helped the day flow easily by taking the bride to the Hairdressers and Beauty salon, which gave him the opportunity of getting some great wedding preparation pictures. We found that Daniel has the right amount of creative ‘know-how’ to help him judge and orchestrate beautiful pictures. But he also has the right amount of Technical ‘know-how’ so he can capture the moment perfectly. Overall we couldn’t have chosen a better wedding photographer, Daniel consistently exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend him to anyone.
