Through a few calls and emails, we shared our vision, and she brought it to life in ways that went beyond our expectations. We were blown away by the quality and fullness of the flower arrangements—they were breathtaking! It’s so clear just how talented Judi is at her craft. We’re only sorry we couldn’t meet her in person to thank her ourselves!

What Judi did with our flowers was extraordinary. I am still getting messages to this day telling me how beautiful the flowers were, and how people have never seen such a display or anything like the arrangement Judi created in Swinford Church, or in Breaffy House.

The flowers added everything to the day and the night, they created the incredible ambience and atmosphere we had and they really brought the magic. I loved the Bouquets, the colours were beautiful. They were beyond my wildest dreams. Judi coordinated all the colours to match our dresses and to the decor of the church and venue. She has great vision. I know she did a lot extra too, both at the Church and Breaffy House, I could clearly see those extra special touches. I know she had to work hard to set up the display in the Church and then move all the flowers to Breaffy House Hotel and set them up all again. They were absolutely breath takingly stunning.

Judi has made me so happy and she has all my thanks and appreciation for her kindness and the highest of professionalism. She is truly gifted in her field, and I know no other Florist could have done what she did on Saturday. It was the best decision I ever made to step into Judi's studio and I will be back again, and again!

Where can I start with other than FLAWLESS ???? from start to finish to easy to work with brilliant personality. Judi was brilliant from start to finish. Everything was clearly laid out in emails. Myself and my husband popped in during our wedding prep to sort colours/etc. This was a brilliant experience and in fact my husbands favourite part of the wedding preparations. Everything was so clearly explained.

Judi was so helpful in deciding what flowers I needed for the ceremony and reception and she created really beautiful bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids. We had horrible icy roads the morning of our wedding but all the flowers were delivered on time and her arrangements really added to the special occasion. Judi was amazing with getting everything sorted for us, we had a short time to organise the day (which was also a baptism, so extra work for Judi) but it was no bother to her at all, and she was so accommodating to my random requests... if we did it all again we'd use Balla Florists without any hesitation and would recommend Judi and the girls 100 times over

Judi was amazing, I trusted Judi would get it 100% as she did all my sisters weddings and nailed it each time! I had no vision what I wanted so I showed her photos of my bridal party and the flowers she picked was just fab, my church looked amazing. Flowers were fab, but thought there was a bit of up selling going on. Extras were OTT expensive I thought. Few miscommunications.

Judi was fantastic, always replying to my questions quickly and due to covid had to rearrange our wedding 2 times which wasn't an issue at all!
On the day the flowers were absolutely perfect, I hadn't given Judi much direction on what I wanted just a pop of colour and they were just gorgeous!

Judi did my flowers and the styling of the church for my wedding. The flowers were gorgeous and the church was just beautiful, it was exactly how I pictured it, it was beyond perfect. Due to restrictions I had to cut my bridal party and didn't need all the bridesmaid boquets I had ordered, but instead of letting them go to waste, Judi transformed them into lovely centrepieces for our wedding table in our house. On the day of our wedding I could not believe how beautiful all of the floral arrangements were, they really set the tone for our day. Judi went above and beyond our expectations and we could not recommend her wonderful service more to anybody that is looking for a florist for any occasion.

Judi was the first supplier I booked for my wedding. As a Dublin girl getting married in Mayo I was blind as to suppliers in the West. From the start Judi was amazing, her work is fantastic. From my first time contacting her and all the way through my planning Judi was a lady. Her vision was magical. I told Judi want I wanted, when my flowers arrived to my room in Breaffy House on the morning of my wedding I was blown away. I also had a last minute change to my Bridal Party, I requested an extra bouquet very late the night before AND guess what Judi made that extra bouquet without hesitation. Judi the owner of Balla Florist is fantastic. When you meet with her she draws up a plan of what is needed intertwining what you want. She knows all the local churches and if she feels the church does not need much as it is already so ornate, she will tell you rather than suggest flowers you don't really need! She knows how to get it just right. The bouquets and flower arrangements are gorgeous and everyone comments on them on the day. When you meet other wedding suppliers in the area they all know Judi and only have good words to say about her.

Judy is excellent at what she does. Once I met her and went through the kind of things I was really comfortable that she knew exactly what she was doing and I could leave it in her hands. Judi is just an absolute pleasure to deal with. The minute you walk in the door you will feel at ease and Judi will help you figure out exactly what it is you want.
She is a very kind and genuine person that wants to do everything she can to make you happy and help create your idea.
Nothing is too much trouble for Judi and likewise she does not mind if you say no to one of her suggestions.
Judi is undoubtedly top class in what she does and will offer words of advice and wisdom which I found very helpful.
The shop always has a lovely, busy and vibrant feel to it but once you get to speak to Judi she will give you her full attention and make you feel like you are chatting to a friend.

With regards to the flowers, candles decorations, etc - the sky is the limit. You just mention what you want and Judi has it.
You can show her any flower arrangement from Instagram or anywhere else and she will agree or offer to tailor it even more to your needs.
Judi will help advice you on your flower requirements for parents and the bridal party and give you lovely little ideas for the page boys and flower girls.
Our flowers were absolutely amazing. We had a Christmas wedding and love roses so had white roses with gold beads embedded abound them. Although it sounds simple, Judi ensured there was so much detail to admire and the result was amazing. We all got compliments all day long.

With the church, you just mention the name and the amazing Judi has a spreadsheet detailing the layout of the church.
This helps her to advise you in what you may need or may not need. Judi will listen to exactly what you want and then show you several options. For example - I am not a massive lover of flowers and wanted mostly candlelight for our Christmas wedding. Judi advised where I should have flowers and helped me create a little candlelight heaven. The outside decoration and alter decorations were spectacular and we are still getting compliments on the church.

All throughout dealing with Judi, up until the wedding morning - she will make you feel at ease In fact, on the wedding morning, everything will just appear in their right places without you even realising.

I want to thank Judi and all at Balla Florists for making the flower and church decoration planning process an absolute pleasure.

Not only were the flowers perfect, just what we wanted and simply beautiful! But their communication and professionalism was ideal. We live in England but we got married in Ireland so sometimes we would become anxious about arrangements for the wedding being so far away. She made contact easy either via phone or email and I loved how she would use Pinterest and instagram as a way of gaging what I liked by following me and by also showing me her ideas through these means too.

I won a competition on Weddings online for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouiquets and button holes for the groomsmen from Balla florists. We live quite a bit away from the florist so we couldnt meet up to talk in person about the flowers but Judi was very thorough in her emails and easy to deal with. We only saw the flowers the night before the wedding and were delighted with them they were beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Judi and her team are fantastic. She did our wedding flowers and church decor, both were fantastic. Her husband was even on hand at the church to make sure things ran smoothly during the ceremony, and to gather up afterwards, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Judi was very easy to work with, has contemporary ideas, but really listens to what you are requesting. I found it very helpful to have a picture to show, but I imagine this wasn't even necessary with Judi. She gave clear instructions on how to care for the bouquets once they were picked up the night before. As one buttonhole got mixed up and went to the Grooms house by accident, one call the morning of the wedding meant we had an extra buttonhole delivered very promptly to our house. Cannot recommend Judi and her team highly enough.

I'm writing this to thank you for my beautiful antique wedding bouquet & flowers for my father and now husband.

The bouquet was just perfect, and smelled gorgeous! It was in our kitchen for a while after the wedding, and I dried it to keep it enjoy the memory.
I'm so happy that I could hold my dream bouquet on the special day! Thank you so much!!
And somehow it also matched really well with my mother's Japanese Kimono. I realised it when I was looking at photos after the wedding.

The secret to perfect wedding flowers is to TRUST your florist, CHOOSE an EXPERT artist, give her VERY BROAD parameters and let her work her MAGIC!!!! I simply asked Judi to give me a mostly aubergine colour and my bridesmaid the opposite, the results were spectacular! If you're planning your wedding do yourself a favour, tell Judi your colours and let her take care of the rest, she's an expert who's been honing her craft for years, you WILL get your DREAM wedding flowers. so many brides over-organise themselves to the point they can't breathe, it's Sooo much better to work with people you know you can trust to give you the result you want, you knew exactly what I wanted and I didn't have to spend 5 hours and 20 calls and emails telling you.
