We absolutely loved working with Andy, having him with us on our day felt like having an old friend. When he wasn’t somehow invisibly there for every moment, he was laughing alongside us and making us feel comfortable through all of our little couple photo shoots. The picture previews we got back have blown us away and we’re so grateful he documented our special day. We can’t recommend enough! If you want someone who will not only document you, but also all of your guests having the time of your life, there’s no one else you should book for him.

the magic of meeting Andy was effortless, fun, less of a photographer and more like a friend with a camera feeling. some guests even assuming we already knew each other from our interactions. We lucked out choosing our photographer and feeling like we’ve made a friend for life.
Andy had a way of making us forget that the camera was even there, putting us both at ease and allowing us to just be completely ourselves. This resulted in our day being captured better than we could have ever imagined with the most special moments being brought to life every single time we look at our photos (which usually results in tears, the good kind!).
reliving the best day of our lives through the lens of Forged In Love Photography is the greatest gift we could have ever been given and we won’t ever find the words to say thank you enough.
We hope to cross paths again with Andy someday, at an Andy photographed wedding or just simply by luck!

Having Andy document our day was the best decision we made in the planning of our wedding. We’re not the most comfortable in front of a camera and genuinely dreaded the thought of being photographed BUT we have had the most incredible experience working with Andy. We felt understood , listened to and genuinely supported like he was a friend who had known us for years. Andy seamlessly blended into our families and made everyone so comfortable in his company which resulted in a gallery of photographs that perfectly encapsulates our personalities and the wonderful wedding day we had.
Every conversation we’ve had with people who came to our wedding has mentioned how brilliant Andy was and there was so much excitement to see the photographs as everyone knew that every moment of the day was captured with authenticity that showed every bit of excitement , joy and some very happy tears.
We would book Andy again and again and again if we had the choice and are so unbelievably happy with how our day was

We got married during Storm Dave - wind and grey skies, every bride's nightmare - but luckily, Andy was our photographer, so it literally couldn't have mattered less.
We'd had calls with Andy coming up to our wedding, and knew how warm and friendly he was - so when he arrived on our wedding morning, it was like our best pal had just showed up to get a few snaps.
We rave about Andy and have convinced 1.5 couples (working on the second) already to book him since our wedding, which was four months ago. Partially this is because Andy had a wonderful personality and lights up a wedding morning with good sense, good vibes, and kindness, but also because the GOODS.
The photos from our wedding are absolutely precious to us. We did a selection of family pics and a few portraits of the two of us, and everything else is documentary style, captured as the day went on. There was no need to pose, and the photos that came out are beyond words.
The day falls into place through Andy's photos in the best version of itself - funny, sentimental, messy, real, beautiful. He captured moments and people that mean so very much and did it all in an unobtrusive way whenever required. For example, Andy had told me I wouldn't even notice him during the ceremony - and he was completely right, which seems insane when I see the photos he captured - incredible.
I just can't recommend him enough, if that's not absolutely obvious. He's a legend. It's like having Hermes on winged heel at your wedding.
