Gospel Wedding Group

Well what can I say - if you love music then you really need to avail of the services of the Gospel Wedding Group. From the very first email Sandy was so responsive. She sent us a beautiful list of songs to choose from and also included a couple of very special ones for us to mark our deceased parents ('Lovely Day' and ' Sally Gardens'). When I met Sandy to go through the wedding music she was really warm and understood instantly how important music was to us as a couple. Unfortunately due to a family tragedy we had to postpone our wedding at short notice but this was no problem for the Gospel Group, they sympathized with us for our loss and provided us with a selection of alternative dates. On the day it is no exaggeration to say the music made the day , the sound echoing through Ballintubber was almost haunting it was so beautiful. I have never been so happy as when I walked up the aisle to their version of the Supremes 'Be my Baby'. I must stress that at all times their versions of popular songs were in total fitting with the sacred surroundings of the Abbey. We felt like we were floating through their version of 'Mo Gra th?'. The music was just the right mix of spiritual and funky, it was great to look around and see our guests swaying back and forth to 'Say a little Prayer' during the sign of peace. Other highlights included 'Ave Maria' and 'Sine Alleluia'. We signed the Registrar to David Bowie's 'Absolute Beginners' which was amazing. The best part of the music was the rapport between the singers themselves - they seemed so genuinely happy for us. We cannot recommend this choir enough and would say to anyone who loves music and is is pondering costs - this is one place you do not want to scrimp as they really made our day!

Peter and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Gospel wedding group for making the wedding ceremony so magical.
My family and friends were amazed by the beautiful singing and harmonies on the day. Furthermore, it put everyone in great humour for the rest of the day , especially finishing off with "Oh Happy Day" !!!!!
I will always look back with fond memories and remember the beautiful sounds of the Gospel wedding group as I walked up the aisle.

O Happy Day!
Without a doubt, the best and most personal wedding gift we received was the gift of the Galway Gospel Wedding Group! Prior to our wedding we received their impressive song menu and we chose the songs that meant the most to us. The only other details we had to submit to the choir were the date, venue and time. Like magic, they appeared on the day and seamlessly fitted into our celebrations.
My beautiful bridesmaids, my dad and I stood outside the door in anticipation of the sound of their voices to usher me into the most wonderful day of my life. When they began, their singing took my breath away. The arrangements and harmonies of our chosen songs were stunning and exceptionally moving. At the end of the ceremony we were enjoying the singing so much that we forgot to walk back down the aisle and had to be prompted by the Registrar to do so!
It was a beautiful bright sunshiny day and we were having some bubbles outside the hotel after the ceremony. The choir, as an extra surprise, found themselves a suitable spot and serenaded ourselves, our family and friends while we mingled.
We now have a permanent soundtrack of our wedding day in our hearts and all because of the gift of the wonderful Galway Gospel Wedding Group ? Thank You x

From start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with Sandy and the choir. They made our ceremony an extra special occasion. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful singing. They offer an extensive song menu to choose from. The moment we heard them in the NUIG chapel we knew they had to part of our wedding.

The Gospel Wedding Group were fabulous! Everybody remarked on how "wonderful" the music was in the church. We chose a mix of upbeat and slower songs in English, Italian and in Irish. They even accompanied me when I sang as a surprise for my husband!
The songs were sung with great meaning and the harmonies were seamless. The Gospel Wedding Group produced a wonderful sound that set us up for a fantastic day! T?s maith leath na hoibre!
