I was so lucky to have Val do my hair on my wedding day! Val was amazing to deal with from start to finish, friendly, very professional and responsive. Everyone was thrilled with how their hair turned out on the day! Our hair styles lasted all day and night.
Val was wonderful to have about on the morning in the wedding. Val was great fun, relaxed and calming. Val made sure everyone looked 100% perfect before we left! She is amazing as what she does! I would highly recommend Val for any occasion! Thank you so much for been part of our special day!

I cannot recommend Val highly enough she is the ultimate professional and one of the nicest and calmest people I have met. We had such a lovely relaxing, fun morning with her for my beautiful sister's wedding. The entire wedding party was all so thrilled with our hair and it lasted all day and night. Val is so talented, and amazing at hair! My mum, my bridesmaids, and I, all felt beautiful after Val worked her magic, and our hair styles lasted all day/night! She is so lovely too, and really put me at ease the morning of my wedding. I could not recommend her enough!

Valerie O Dea - Val was absolutely fantastic from the moment I met her for my wedding hair trial to the wedding dayl. She was wonderful on the day of the wedding and all the bridal party were delighted with their hair. The amount of compliments we all got was amazing and made us feel brilliant. Val travelled to my house the morning of the wedding and really fitted in and we had a lovely relaxed morning. She is a lovely girl and I would recommend her to anyone. Just a little note to say thank you so much for the amazing job you did on my hair and all my bridal party for our wedding a few weeks ago. You did such a fantastic job and I got so many compliments on how my hair looked. I loved it so much and it was exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much! All my bridesmaids and my Mam were so happy with their hairs also and their hairstyles matched their dresses perfectly and was exactly what we had imagined. You were fantastic from day one and all your advice and guidance was so kind. Your were just so wonderful on the morning of the wedding, even if our little dog Ruby was a bit bold at the start!!! Val was absolutely brilliant. I was so glad I picked her to do our hair the morning of the wedding. I absolutely loved what she did with my hair and I got so many complements about it. She had a busy morning with my hair, 3 bridesmaids, my mams hair and my sister in law but she was never rushed and stayed until I was walking out the door to make sure everything was perfect. She has a friendly and bubbly personality and it was a pleasure to have her around the house that morning.

Val was a breath of fresh air to deal with! My twin sister had Val as hair stylist almost two years ago, Val was brilliant and so lovely so it was a given that I would choose her for my big day!Everybody admired the bridal party's hair on the day. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Val!!!

I came across Val's details on Weddings Online and contacted her about availability etc for my wedding. Val got back to me straight away and I organised a hair trial. Two of my bridesmaids came along and we were all blown away by her work. I had a few ideas to show her from Pinterest and described what I was looking for. I was delighted with it. On the day itself, Val worked really well with the make up artist and everyone was delighted with their hair. The bridesmaids decided on the day what they would like and it was no problem at all. They all looked fantastic. My hair was still perfect (even after photographs on the beach!) I can't recommend Val highly enough and if ever I am looking for a hairdresser again in Munster I will definitely be using her!

I could not recommend Valerie highly enough. She is honestly one of the best hairdressers I have ever had and was delighted that she was able to do my hair for my wedding, she also did my bridesmaids, sisters, mother and 2 aunts. She had her work cut out for her having so many of us but showed such professionalism and was so friendly, relaxed and accommodating with everyone. Everyone was so delighted with their hairstyle and it held all day and night. This girl was such a good find and she would be a delight for any bride to have as their hairdresser on the big day!!!

I have absolutely no hesitations in recommending Val. She did my sisters wedding in 2013 and we were all so impressed, so when it was my turn to get hitched it was a no brainer and I was relieved she was available. On the day me and my bridesmaids (who all had different hairstyles and very different hair types) were thrilled with the results. My hair turned out better than I imagined, and I still love looking at pictures of it. She really takes it all in her stride and has a very calming presence- exactly what you want on the morning. She is very approachable and flexible and will totally make you feel at ease. Rest assured your hair will be in very talented capable hands.

Hi Val,
Just wanted to thank you again for the fantastic job you did for me and my bridesmaids! You did such an amazing job, I loved my hair and everyone commented on it! Plus, the bridesmaids' hair was also fantastic and we were all so impressed! They all loved their hair (which given that they were my three sisters and they don't always agree on anything was impressive!) but it was exactly what they each wanted and exactly what we had pictured! You added calm to the morning too and we wer thrilled with the way you helped with a few extras (such as tying my dress)!

I loved my hair on my wedding day, would not change it at all. All of my bridesmaids looked great as well and they were all happy with their hair, no complaints at all and my sisters are not afraid to tell me what they really think about things!

Val was lovely and very flexible, even though I was organising the wedding from Australia it all ran smoothly. I changed my mind on the day and Val nailed what I wanted, no stress, it suited my dress and hair clip perfectly. I would definitely recommend getting your hair done by Val!

I flew back from Australia in July to get married in Castle Durrow. I wasn't familiar with any hairdressers in that area so researched online. I read some excellent reviews for Val and also checked out her facebook page and loved her style.
I arranged a trial for a few days before the wedding (only chance I got with living overseas). I literally just showed her a photo of the style I wanted and she did it first go.
On the wedding day my 3 sisters were bridemaids and of course they all wanted different hair styles. They were all delighted with theirs too!!
I am so so happy I found Val to do our hair - it was one of the most important things for me and it couldn't of worked out better! I highly recommend Val - world class hair stylist!

I was lucky enough to find Val as the hairdressers for my wedding. My sister, best friend and I travelled down to Limerick to see Val for our trial for the wedding a few months prior to the wedding. Val was extremely professional, helpful and easy to deal with during the booking stage.
The trial couldn't have gone any better, Val made us feel so comfortable and the 3 hairs turned out amazing, exactly what we want.
On the big day itself Val put me at ease straight away, we all had great fun getting ready. Val even did my Mum's hair who herself is a hairdresser so very hard to please and she loved it.
Everyone complimented all of our hairs on the day. I danced the night away and my hair was still perfect. I didn't want the typical wedding do but went for a more relaxed, messy up style which was perfect for the Boho vibe I was going for.
I would and do recommend Val to anyone looking for the perfect hair styling for any event and espically the biggest day of a girls life.

I booked Val for my wedding and had a hair trial a couple of months before hand. She put us all at ease about how our hair would look like, if we could have a certain style etc. We were thrilled!
On the big day, Val was around twenty mins early and got started straight away. She is such a lovely person and I found it so easy to chat to her on the morning of the wedding. I wanted to have my hair down, curly and plenty of volume. I was also worried the veil would annoy me. She did a super job on my hair and the veil did not budge even when the wind picked up on the beach in Kerry while we were taking photos! My sister wanted a vintage look hairstyle and she received compliments all day about her hair. My mother has short hair and I thought a simple blow-dry was all that could be done for her. She did a few curls and plenty of volume which gave Mum a really sophisticated look.
Val stayed until we left in the wedding car and checked that not a hair was out of place!
We booked her for my sister's wedding in May. She is fantastic!!

I just wanted to thank you so much for the fantastic job you did you my hair and my bridesmaids. There was a storm blowing outside so we had to change the style I picked during our trial but like everything you did that day its wasn't a problem. You did such a great job I loved my soft upstyle which was so gorgeous with the intricate plait detail. Despite the windy blowing and spending more than an hour taking pictures at the beach my hair stayed perfect! You brought a great sense of calm to proceedings exactly what I was looking for and were on hand to pitch in and help the bridesmaids with their dresses. I would highly recommend you to any future bride looking for a talented and really friendly hairdresser.

I just need to find another occasion so I can get you to do my hair again :)

Your patience with mam and I as we tried to find our style and your patience, speed and calm amongst chaos on the day is to be commended. I especially liked the final check you did before we left. 1 bridesmaid said its the best hairstyle she ever had, another has used you before and said she will most certainly use you anytime she has an event in Munster! Most important for me was that you managed my hair which is difficult and my mother was incredibly happy with hers- she is still admiring it on the wedding dvd. Those hands of yours are gifted. I would like to say a huge thank you to Val for being our stylist for my wedding in August. I had travelled the country for months looking for someone who could understand the look I was going for, to no avail. I didn't like any of them and was growing desperate. Luckily, I came accross Val and went for a trial. I sent some pictures of what I was looking for and Val knew exactly how to recreate these looks, but also modified to suit my face shape and hair type. I was over the moon to have found her.
On the morning of my wedding, Val arrived early and was a calm presence throughout the morning.She worked calmly and quickly for all 4 of us. Each of my bridesmaids' hair was fab. One girl had never been able to have her hair up in a way that looked well and lasted, and didn't believe it could be done, but Val managed to have it impeccable. Each style suited the girls, they were all different but had certain aspects tying them together. Many guests commented on how nice all of our hair looked. Obviously my hair was the most important :) and Val didn't disappoint, recreating the style from the trial perfectly. It lasted through the whole day and (very late) night, and even for the party we had the next day.
I cannot recommend Val highly enough, she was an absolute pleasure to have around. Don't hesitate to book her if you have the opportunity.

I just wanted to write and let you know how pleased I was with Val O'Dea. I had been searching for weeks for a stylist or hair studio that could accommodate my wedding party. Many of the "mobile stylists" I called were very difficult to get a hold of and rather unprofessional. From the outset, she was easy to deal with and professional. She was easily able to accommodate my wedding party and was very flexible in arranging times and locations. Val was an absolute delight to deal with. She was very quick to respond to my emails, very helpful in giving directions for my hair trial and is incredibly talented. She did an amazing job on my hair, both at the trial and for the wedding. She worked very quickly and professionally and I cannot say enough good things about her. She did the hair for my two bridesmaids and my mother and all of us totally loved our hair. She even helped style the hair for another friend of ours who was having hair "issues" that morning. She stayed with us until we left for the church, making any last-minute adjustments and giving us extra pins in case we needed them throughout the day. (I didn't - my hair held beautifully). I cannot say enough good things about Val. Please feel free to use me as a reference for anyone considering Val O'Dea for their wedding hair. I will not hesitate in giving you a positive review. Thank you so much!
