I am qualified since and was tutored by one of Irelands top leading Make-up artists & model, Kate Conkey. My approach to make-up is one of flawless perfection, enhancing ones own nautral beauty. I work closely with the Bride and her Bridal party to achieve a look that all are confident, comfortable and completely happy wearing. I only use top leading brand of Make-up such as; M.A.C, Bobbi Brown, Benefit, Lancomé and Clinique. I am also a qualified beautician, therefore, I know exactly what products suit different types of skins. Since qualified, I have worked on high profile events to include; 'Off the Rails' and 'The world womens show' in the RDS, Dublin.

I got married in December 2007 in Tullamore and as I am from Wicklow I did not know who to use for my make-up just by chance a Friend Recommended Jane Hensey to me, one of the best things I ever done, I cannot speak highly enough of this lady, made me feel at ease straight away and also had to put up with a house of Bridesmaids running all over the place, but Jane was so calm and relaxed and the Make up was Second to None, she was so professional in everything that she done, all the Bridesmaids were over the moon with Janes Excellent job and it worked out very well as my sister and my first cousin got married recently and they both used Jane Hensey.I dont normally Recommend People so highly but in this case Jane Hensey is an Exception and Her work is Excellent and You will be delighted you booked her as she will make it one less thing for you to worry about on the day.

Jane was the make-up artist for a wedding I was bridesmaid for back in 2005. She was such a lovely girl and so professional. She made us all feel so relaxed and at ease and did our make-up exactly as we wanted. I have to say our make-up was simply stunning and genuinely last well into the early hours.
I am actually getting married myself next year in Italy and there was only ever one person that I was going to ask to do my make-up and that was Jane! I have been bridesmaid 3 times and have had my make-up done for most weddings that I went to and I can honestly say she was the best. Don't think about it any longer - book your trial I promise you won't regret it.

Jane is such a professional. she called to my house to do trials four weeks before the big day, After this alone i felt very confident that everything on the wedding day would be perfect. It really was one less thing to worry about. Jane was very punctual and had calming effect on all of us. Jane took on board any suggestions we made. The make up on the day looked fantastic and the photos turned out amazing. It remained flawless from morning to night. Jane had a hugh selection of products to choose from and was very generous with her time. I would highly recommend jane for any occasion. thanks again Jane.

Jane did my make-up and that of my mother and bridal party for my wedding day. She was professioal and relaxed. She did a consultation before the wedding which I found very helpful, and helped to sort out one or two make-up issues I had. Our make-up was flawless, comfortable and natural looking all day, and night. I would love to recommend Jane to do anyones make-up on their special day. Thanks Jane!!

Jane did the make up for my friends' wedding at which I was a bridesmaid. The make up was perfect- we couldn't have asked for more. And it stayed perfect all day (and night). Jane was brillant the morning of the wedding- very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Jane to any bride.

Jane has done make up for me now twice now, she did my sister-in-laws wedding and did such a fantastic job my friend also asked her to her bridal party also. She was fantastic on both occasions, she was reliable, flexible, she kept everyone calm and most important made us all look great. I would highly recommend her, thanks so much Jane.

Jane is one of my best friends and like a sister to me, she completed my make up for my wedding in 2008. She did an absolutely fantastic job of my make-up and it remained perfect until the night had ended (and that was in sunny Australia-no mean feat in the heat). The colours and style enhanced all of my photos and complimented my dress in every way. I was very comfortable and everything felt very natural and flattering. I would not hesitate to recommend Jane to any bride who wanted peace of mind and also to look stunning on their special day.

Jane did a fantastic job on my makeup for my wedding day. It felt comfortable and stayed flawless till the early hours as did my Mum and bridemaids. I would highly recommend Jane for bridal makeup.

I had Jane do my makeup for my wedding in 2004. I found Jane to be very approachable, flexable and very reliable. We had great fun on the trial nights and the makeup that she did on my wedding day was fantastic and flawless. I couldn't have asked for a better make-up artist. Nothing was too difficult for her. I would highly recommend engaging Jane to do your makeup for your wedding day, its deffinately one less thing to worry about!!!! Julie K
