John Collins is a saxophonist with a modern rich tone and high quality sound. Tralee born, he is an established, trained musician with over 35 years experience. John has played in London for wedding receptions, social events and functions for many years. He has also played at The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. Having performed all over Ireland, John now plays in Kerry, Cork, Limerick and Clare.
Having the right live music at your drinks reception will set the tone for the rest of your special day and create the right ambience for you and your guests. With over 1200 tunes to suit all tastes, ranging from contemporary to classic songs, John will make sure to include some of your favourite songs. He will create the perfect atmosphere on your wedding day. John also provides sax music for day two celebrations.

We had John play at our wedding, and he was absolute perfection right from the very beginning. He was incredibly easy to deal with, professional, and responsive throughout the whole planning process.
The highlight of the day was a surprise I had planned for my husband. I asked John if he could learn my husband's favorite song, "Black" by Pearl Jam, on the saxophone. Not only did he learn it, but his performance of it was absolutely incredible. It was such a special, memorable moment for both of him and me.
If you are looking for a talented musician who is reliable, accommodating, and brilliant at what he does, I cannot recommend John highly enough. Thank you, John, for making our day so memorable!

I booked John Collins to play saxophone at my 50th birthday party, and he absolutely made the night! I hadn’t heard of him before, so it was a bit of a leap of faith — but from the very first call, I knew he was a gem. He told me how he’d “read the room” and play to the audience, and he delivered on that promise and so much more.
John picked up on my name (sweet Caroline) straight away and even worked it into the music — such a thoughtful touch that had me sold before he even arrived. On the night, he was incredible: he mixed effortlessly with family and friends ranging from 11 to 85 years old and played something that everyone loved. The atmosphere he created was fun, cool, and completely unforgettable.
John didn’t just play music — he set the vibe, lifted the whole room, and kept the party rocking. I couldn’t have asked for more, and I would highly recommend him for any event. He’s truly one of a kind!
