When we booked our wedding, we emailed a number of photographers to get some information and prices. From the moment, we got Lisa's reply email we knew she was the photographer we wanted! Her email was so friendly, bubbly and full of great ideas.
We met Lisa at her studio and our initial thoughts were right ? she was as excited about the day as we were, so down to earth and we felt like we knew her all our life!
Lisa arrived at my house on the morning of our wedding and just faded into the background, I completely forgot that she was there and the results were proven in the photos. She got some amazing pictures at home and at the church and a few people commented at how unobtrusive she was. She got loads of photos that we don't even remember her taking.
The day was probably the wettest day of the year and we were disappointed that we had to get our photos taken indoors but Lisa did not disappoint us! The photos were amazing, we were thrilled with how they all turned out, she couldn't have got better pictures if the sun was blazing. Since the wedding, Lisa has been absolutely brilliant ? it was very difficult picking out the photos for the album because we wanted every one of them but Lisa was a fantastic help and did a great job designing the album ? even since then, she has been great - she would do anything for you! A lot of people have commented on how amazing the album looks.
Having a brilliant photographer really is so important and Lisa did not fail, she captured every special moment of our day and we couldn't recommend her highly enough.
Thanks so much for everything Lisa, you really did capture the special moments that we missed on the day and you've been fantastic since the wedding. I'm going to miss you!!!

Lisa was recommended to us by quite a few people from Dunmore East (where my hubby is from) and although we weren't getting married in Waterford we decided to use her because from the minute we first made contact I liked her style. She is relaxed, friendly, fun and most of all professional. We live in London so did not have a chance to meet Lisa in person before the wedding (although she tried and tried to arrange a meeting) so from a few e-mails and a quick chat on the phone she knew exactly what we wanted which was casual informal photos and she certainly delivered!! Everyone has commented on our photos, we think she captured the essence of the day and as cheesy as it sounds every time I look at the photos they make me/us smile. Wedding guests also commented on how chilled she was- I remember at one point we were driving through the village of Terryglass back to Coolbawn and Lisa pulled up beside us hanging out the window of her car (still driving) snapping away. I can't recommend her enough and I know that she will make many many other couples smile (like she did for us) for years and years to come.

We first heard about Lisa by complete chance and thank God we did!
We had been let down by the photographer we had booked and with only 12 weeks to our wedding we were in panic mode!!!
From the moment we stepped into Lisa's studio we were put at complete ease.
There was no fuss, just Lisa and us chatting about the style of our wedding and the kind of pictures we would like.
Neither of us particularly love having our pictures taken (same can't be said for some of our bridal party:))but with Lisa as our photographer we forgot all about the camera.
We had a small ceremony with only 36 guests and Lisa really captured the intimacy of it.
From start to finish Lisa was a pure professional while being friendly and lots of fun. It never felt like we had a bossy photographer, more like a friend who took fab photos!
We received our photos six weeks after our big day and loved every one of them. There were lots that we hadn't even realised Lisa had captured.
If you're looking for professional, energetic, fun and friendly Lisa Walsh is an excellent choice. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Our wedding day on 18th June 2011 was THE best day of our lives!! Working with Lisa, as our photographer, was a dream! The day was stress free, problem free and above all FUN! Lisa helped it be a day like that, as she just suggests ideas and organises people with ease and efficiency! We simply love our album!! We had all our wedding photos almost when we came home from honeymoon and got our album for Christmas which was great and could show everyone! We would have had it faster, but it took a while to go through all of the stunning photos that she had taken, to whittle them down! So, so many people have seen the album and commented on it's variety of photo sizes, orientation, colour/black and white combinations! It's a real "coffee-table" book that can be picked up and enjoyed!! One friend even commented that she will be getting Lisa as her photographer for her wedding.....when she finds her husband that is!! We would totally, totally reccommend Lisa to become your wedding photographer, as above all you want the experience on your special day to be a lovely one. Also you want to have that amazing album to hold on to for years down the line and reminise back on your special day! Lisa will provide you with all of that and fantastic memories and photos!!

From our first meeting with her to taking delivery of our wedding album, we couldn't have been happier with the service. Lisa is very easy to work with and nothing is too much trouble.
We told her what we wanted and she delivered on every aspect. On our wedding day she put us completely at ease as she has a very relaxed way of working (no whistles or shouting at our guests!!).

Lisa was absolutely brilliant! From our first meeting with her, up to when she gave us our wedding pictures, she was really professional, friendly and easy to deal with. Her style of photography isn't 'stiff' or posed- it's totally relaxed. We hate having our pictures taken, but Lisa put us at ease, even for our Engagement portrait. On the morning of the Wedding, she arrived at the Beauty Salon, and stayed with us for the most magical day of our lives. She made everyone, even our guests, feel at ease. She took some beautiful photos, I was so impressed with them, she made everything look beautiful.
She really captured the mood of the day, which is hugely important, as the day passed by so quickly. My photos are gorgeous, and from someone who hates having her photograph taken, our stunning photos are now all over the walls of our home.

We began planning our wedding in February 2009, a year previous to the big day. I was a very relaxed bride-to-be with luck on my side, as all fell into place very quickly once we set the date. We spent little time organising everything as we knew what we wanted for our day. We booked the church, the hotel, the band and the DJ in one day but the photographer was something we wanted to spend a little time researching before we settled on a decision. I emailed approximately 10 photographers in the south-east and I was sold once I opened the reply email from Lisa. Her email was warm, friendly and full of helpful tips and information that a bride might use for the day. I knew there and then that she was someone I wanted us to meet with. We made the trip to Ballymacaw, Dunmore East and we were not disappointed. Lisa was very professional and she knew after meeting us exactly what we wanted on our day. Lisa was very easy to work with and she felt more like a friend at our wedding, than a strict and bossy photographer. We thought Lisa had done over and above on our wedding day but she proved to be much more than we expected when we received our amazing completed photo-book less than 3 months after our wedding. You can see from her website that her work is amazing but if you are still unsure, take it from us that she was a 'star find?.

David and I got married on the 9th August 2008. My husband hates having his photograph taken and didn't want all the stiff posed photographs. I searched for this type of photographer and I found her. On my first meeting with Lisa I knew I had the one. We talked at ease and looked through her previous work. I felt very comfortable with Lisa and when she suggested taking photographs at the house I was happy to go ahead. She never intruded and just clicked away. We chatted and laughed. The photographs that were taken on the morning are beautiful and moments that would have never been seen.
All the photos were very casual and relaxed just the way my husband wanted. The pictures were so natural and captured the true happiness of our magical day. The weather wasn't so good so Lisa set up a studio which everybody loved. It allowed our guests to get photographs taken, this was an opportunity for families and friends to have their own photo taken, a special keepsake for them.
Our wedding day was filled with laughter and joy and I can truly say that looking at the photographs, Lisa captured the memories and our album tells a story of love and happiness that I feel another photography would have missed.
I cannot recommend Lisa enough and when our son was born we were only too delighted to contact Lisa so she could photograph our little man. Once again the photos are truly beautiful

We had seen Lisa's photos in a restaurant in Waterford and subsequently found out that she did wedding photography too. From the first day we met her at her studio she was very friendly and positive. She showed us some of her previous work which was very impressive. We were particularly impressed with the little moments she caught during people's weddings - moments that the couple would never have seen unless she had captured them.
We arranged to meet her at our reception venue about two weeks before the wedding so that we could decide where the photos would be taken around the venue. She had a good look around and had amazing creative ideas for different photos depending on the weather on the day.
On the day itself she blended in with the guests and got fantastic photos. All our guests commented on how nice she was and how relaxed she made everyone feel. Lisa captured our perfect day magically. We have both been at many weddings where the photographer took over and was an overpowering presence on the day. Lisa however was never intrusive she was almost invisible yet she managed to capture the most precious moments of the day with absolute ease.

We recently tied the knot on June 24th 2011 so all of the finer details are still fresh enough! It is very rare that I would take the time to write a review or testimonial but I couldn't let the opportunity pass on this occasion. I first met Lisa a couple of years ago when she did the photography for my friend's wedding in which I was a bridesmaid, and thought she was so down to earth, friendly and non-intrusive. When we got engaged just over a year ago the decision about the photographer was an easy one as my friend was so impressed by her album and everything about the service that Lisa provided for her so I knew I wanted her to work with us. My husband and I met Lisa at her studio and instantly clicked with her. We had a few quirky ideas when it came to our wedding and wanted the day to be relaxed and fun. Lisa had brilliant ideas and was genuinely excited and enthusiastic about our suggestions, particularly when it came to our plans to leave on a tractor! Anyway without being too long winded I would just like to say that from the first meeting right up to the day Lisa was second to none. On the day I felt as if she was an old friend just in our house blending in with everyone. All of my family and my husband's family commented on how professional, friendly and energetic she was! She worked extremely hard on the day despite the awful weather and I have to say our album is just amazing, I couldn't be happier. I can't recommend Lisa highly enough, and on top of her excellent talent and attention to detail she is a genuinely sound and lovely person, it was a total pleasure

Lisa spent the whole day with us, starting with the hairdressers in the morning, then she went to my parents' house, then to the church, then to the beach, then to the hotel. She was very helpful with making sure we stayed on schedule, but did not rush us at all. She helped us to relax and enjoy the wedding day, which we really appreciate. Lisa is very easy to work with, and she listens to your needs and tries to do everything she can to make you feel at ease. Her wonderful personality and professional work ethic are what most engaged couples would love from a photographer.
We were absolutely thrilled with the photos. Our favorites were the natural shots, where we weren't posing or aware that she was taking pictures. The posed and formal shots turned out really well too. Combined, the photos are a genuine keepsake and remembrance of our day. After the wedding, Lisa kept in contact with us regularly through email and phone to let us know where we were in the process of getting photos developed, choosing photos for the album, and etc. Her customer service and contact methods are spot on.
In all, we were 100% happy with our choice in picking Lisa as our wedding photographer, and we would definitely recommend her to friends and family. The whole experience with her from start to finish, including the finished album, was more than we would have ever expected or imagined from our wedding photographer. Thank you, Lisa, for everything!!
