Hi, I’m Marian, a legal wedding celebrant, registered solemniser, and accredited civil celebrant. I am based in Cork and available to travel throughout Ireland and beyond.
I specialise in creating and delivering warm, heartfelt and completely personalised wedding ceremonies that truly reflect each couple’s story. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, my role is to guide you every step of the way and ensure your ceremony feels meaningful, relaxed and genuinely “you”.
Known for my calm presence, warmth and a touch of humour, I work closely with you to design a ceremony your guests will connect with and remember. From beautiful symbolic rituals like handfasting, unity candles or rose ceremonies, to bespoke readings and personal vows, every element is carefully chosen to reflect your relationship and what matters most to you.
Couples often tell me how supported they feel throughout the process, especially if they’re unsure where to begin. I provide plenty of ideas, resources and expert guidance, while always ensuring you have full input and final approval on your ceremony script.
With a background in training, public speaking and working with people, I bring both professionalism and genuine care to every ceremony I deliver, creating an experience that feels seamless, personal and truly special.

Marian officiated our wedding in September 2025. She was excellent, and brought a warmth to the ceremony. All of our guests were commenting on how great the ceremony was. Marian was always there to answer our questions and give suggestions. A lovely person - would highly recommend.

We were so lucky to have Marian as our wedding celebrant! From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient with us — even though we were (and still are!) very much last-minute.com people — and she made the whole process feel completely relaxed and stress-free.
Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful — personal, heartfelt, and full of love and laughter. Marian truly captured who we are as a couple and created a moment we’ll cherish forever. Marian was an absolutely stellar celebrant from the planning stages to the day of the wedding! My husband and I recently got married in Barnabrow, Cork and Marian came highly recommended by the venue itself. She certainly lived up to all of the wonderful things that we'd been told about her. She guided us through the planning stages, providing consistent support and advice while listening to all of our ideas and incorporating them beautifully into the ceremony script.
From start to finish, our ceremony was highly personalised and delivered in a very engaging, sweet and clear way. She made everyone present feel so included and allowed us to tell our little love story in the way that we wanted. I would highly recommend Marian to anyone who was getting married.

Marian was an absolute pleasure to have as our celebrant for our wedding. Marian was very supportive and great help to us when planning our ceremony and was very opened to ideas that we had. Marian always made our video calls very easy and helped us a lot when we needed it with video calls, phone calls, emails and text messages. Where do I start, Marian is just amazing and so easy to deal with. From the initial call to the check in call after our ceremony. Due to Covid and distance we only met once in person before the ceremony and spoke on the phone a number of times. Regardless of this some of our guest assumed that we had known her for years based on the personal nature of the ceremony, the pieces of our lives and of conversations that we had that she picked out and pieced together so beautifully and seamlessly. On the day of the ceremony she was there with a calming word to ease the last minute nerves! Nothing was forced and every piece of the ceremony was ran by us for approval and for any changes that were thought were necessary, there were none! Every guest commented on the personal and thoughtful nature of the whole ceremony. I would have no hesitation in recommending Marian to anyone looking for a dedicated, passionate and professional minister for any ceremony but especially in our experience a wedding. If 20 out of 10 was an option I would pick it. Thanks again Marian from the both of us and our families and friends for making our day so special!

Marian officiated our ceremony in August 2022. We were blown away by her professionalism throughout the planning process and the final touches she added during the ceremony made it even more special than we could have imagined. We absolutely loved having Marian as our celebrant for our wedding in Garryvoe. She was so on the ball, professional and organized. She got to know us and exactly what kind of ceremony we wanted and spent lots of time chatting with us about our big day and compiling a detailed plan and script of the ceremony. It was so personal and beautiful and the guests were moved, there wasn't a dry eye in the house as they say. Moreover she was able to join in with to some humorous moments as well and was fantastic at involving our son Dylan. Marian put us and all our guests at ease and made our ceremony a dream ceremony for both of us. It was unforgettable. If you want a highly personalized ceremony and a very skilled, warm, and personable celebrant I would highly reccomend Marian.

We are so very grateful to Marian, for not only the magical ceremony she put together, but also everything else from the warmth and professionalism she delivered it with. We loved every detail, down to the beautiful pen for signing the form. There wasn't a person that didn't comment on how good both the ceremony and you the celebrant were. Marion was the celebrant for our wedding in November and I could not say enough of how much she contributed positively to the heartfelt emotion of our day. We had an initial phonecall with Marion and then managed to meet for a coffee. What i realised on our wedding day was how much she had listened to us, and was able to bring in to the ceremony all the sentiment we had wanted in such a meaningful way, we have children and wanted them to be involved and so did a sand pouring ceremony, the work Marion had put into expressing what this was about to the room was nothing short of beautiful, and so many of our friends and family have commented to us how full of love the day and ceremony was. Some had said they never knew a cermony like that could be so spiritual. Marion has a very warm and integral nature and that really comes accross, i would be very happy to recommend her..and yes, the green folder!! It would have been sitting at home had it not been for Marion reminding us!!

Marian was the celebrant for our wedding ceremony this December. Our planning was all during the pandemic and we didn't actually meet her in person until the day of the ceremony. She was easy to work with and always available to take a call and answer any questions we had.
Marian provided a legal ceremony which can incorporate any religion or none at all depending on what you want. This gave us a lot of freedom in incorporating what elements we wanted in our ceremony and making it personal to us, and giving us options on how to include our family in the ceremony.
She was excellent at guiding us in creating our ceremony, providing us with plenty of ideas for us to choose between and allowing us to personalise any suggestions she gave us too.
She helped us with the paperwork aspect too and made sure that everything was planned well ahead of time so that there was nothing to worry about in the days leading up to the wedding. She even sent us a text the evening before to make sure we had all the important documents with us for the day ? which was lucky because we had actually forgotten our green folder!
Marian was fantastic on the day of the ceremony and even people who had never been to a celebrant led ceremony thought it was relaxed, enjoyable and inclusive."
