Matt is an accomplished wedding photographer, bringing his unique creative eye and personality to capture beautiful, natural wedding moments and memories. He focuses on getting to know couples, so as to understand and mirror the character and individual essence of each wedding day, while you relax and celebrate with your loved ones.
Matt covers Cork, Kerry, Waterford and the wider Munster region, shoots with two Canon R-system cameras, is fully insured and is also a member of a network of Cork photographers, providing back up to one another.
Matt offers comprehensive packages with special offers, and all enquiries are welcome, from all couples. Tailored sessions for smaller, intimate wedding ceremonies and celebrations are also welcomed and Matt is happy to discuss your individual requirements.

Matt photographed our wedding in Ballycotton in August of 2023 and we were very impressed with the results. Matt was an absolute gentleman throughout, nothing was too much trouble. He always reminded us that it was our day and in the end he became a large part of what made it so special.
From our first meeting with him at the venue a few weeks prior to the wedding we knew that we were in good hands and he understood exactly what we wanted. Matt did a great job organising guests for group photos and making everyone feel comfortable, especially the kids! Many of the guests commented during and after the wedding about how welcoming he was.
We would definitely recommend Matt for any photography needs you may have. The results of our day are captured in time and are stunning.

Matt came to photograph our wedding in Devon this summer and it's hard to express how lucky we feel about that. I guess the best way to describe it is that he just really got it - the magic of the venue and the feeling in the air that day, the sweetness and emotion of the ceremony, the joy and mayhem after! I can't stop looking at the pictures he took of all of our loved ones and just feel so auspicious that it was him who took them. I've got to say that alongside his artistry, Matt and his gentle, funny, kind presence was just what I needed to be around in what was surely one of the top 5 most stressful moments of my life. To think that we weren't even sure if we would be able to have a photographer there ... what were we thinking?! Matt, we will always be so grateful.

Matt met us in a relaxed setting before our wedding. He asked us about what we liked, what was important to us and listened to our specific requests. He also recommended some very useful things and you could tell he had loads of experience.
On the day, not only was he there as a professional photographer but he was also a helping hand in everyway possible. He was candid so you wouldn’t know he was there. He did take a few group photos but as per our request he was extremely candid leaving the day (and photo’s) very natural.
Soon after the wedding, he contacted us with some initial photographs via his online web portal. And not long after he went above and beyond, sending us many more photographs than he needed to. He was so friendly and extremely professional to deal with.
My final point is that the proof is in the pudding – simply look at his work – it doesn’t lie. You can tell he loves what he does.
I have no hesitation recommending Matt and hope to get him again in the future.

Matt Brooker Photography. What can I say about Matt Brooker other than, he is now what Sarah and I consider a friend.
He is professional, cool, calm, witty and flexible all in equal measure. His shots of our big day weren't overly staged or fussy. He got loads of natural looking photos and arty ones too capturing the beauty of the location, which was exactly what we asked for.
He kept us laughing throughout the day and kept us calm too and even ferried us about in the car to photo locations.
His communication is prompt and clear. Just fantastic value for your money.

Cannot recommend Matt enough to any couple looking to book their photographer.

We were so lucky to have Matt photograph our legal wedding ceremony over the summer. We booked Matt very last minute and were very lucky that he was available. This was the best decision we made by far (besides the actual getting married part!). Matt was so kind and reassuring and made our day more special. Our whole family and friends commented on his professionalism and how at ease he made everyone. In addition to adding so much to our day, we were blown away by our photos, they are beautiful and mean so much to us. Matt, you honestly went above and beyond for us, we cannot thank you enough!

Couldn’t recommend Matt enough! The photos were ideal, lots of candid shots of family and friends, which we love, and some very special moments captured.
He was an absolute pleasure to work with. We met at the venue a few months before and then arranged things by phone. He was open, flexible and professional about what we wanted, and was happy to accommodate any changes we made to locations etc.
On the day he was friendly while also managing to slip into the background to get those candid shots. While taking the more staged shots he was professional while still having the craic and getting us to pose and so on! Several guests commented to us afterwards about how nice he was. We booked Matt to photograph our very small wedding (6 guests) in Castlemartyr Resort last year and a slightly larger celebration party for a few more family and friends in Carrig House Hotel near Killorglin about a month later. Matt listened to us. He was really engaged and wanted the best for us in terms of photos. Matt went the extra mile to get to know more about our individual guests, somehow both being in the background to get candid shots (which we wanted) but also having a little fun with some of our group as well. We were delighted with the photos, Matt added to the occasion and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Matt is a great photographer, but also very warm, funny and flexible. He goes the extra mile.

Matt was a brilliant photographer. He had done lots of research on the venue prior to the wedding weekend- and, as a result, knew all the best spots to take photos, and made the whole process very relaxed and easy. We got a sneak peek of the photos online shortly after the wedding which was very exciting. I loved all of the pictures- they were exactly what we wanted- casual, nothing too posed or formal, and all of our wedding guests were in them too. A great experience, and one we will gladly repeat with Matt for any future big events.

There is not enough space here to describe how amazing Matt was with us. I have never felt very photogenic and me and my groom don't like to be at the centre of attention, and he was just as a friend and put us and the guests at ease in any single moment. His work is amazing, he is able to get shots of single emotions and make you feel like you were in the moment...
