Planning a wedding can be quite stressful however your make-up on the other hand, doesn’t have to be.I have had the pleasure of working on hundreds of brides and I will ensure you a hassle free and enjoyable experience.
I have over 15 years experience in the wedding industry.I travel to your home or venue to ensure a calm and enjoyable atmosphere. I only use the top brands in make-up and skin care products, giving you and your skin, the well deserved time and attention in creating your desired look for your wedding day.
Traveling the length and breadth of the country I use my skill, knowledge and experience to discuss your skincare and make-up techniques whilst listening and working with you, to suit your needs, and bringing all aspects of the day into consideration to create the perfect look for your big day.
Bridal make-up is extremely personal so during a trial I discuss all areas of skin care, make-up and hair styles to ensure the whole look is cohesive. However it is imperative that each bride feels like themselves, and therefore comfortable, but making them feel at their very best. Together we can create a natural or a more adventures look depending on your requirements.
My experience covers all aspects of media make up, including fashion, photographic, magazine and television. However my passion and specialty lies with bridal make up. You can read reviews of previous brides on the reviews page.
I was the beauty editor for a wedding magazine where I worked with some of the country’s top photographers, stylists and models on a professional and personal basis. Working on a vast amount of bridal photo shoots and magazine covers gives me huge experience in photographic make-up that ensures a flawless, timeless picture with long lasting make-up from dusk to dawn of your very special wedding day.

Nicola was wonderful from the trial to the big day. Very professional and open to feedback she made my(and the bridesmaids) makeup last all day and night and really beautiful and suited to our faces. I've never had such nice make up on she clearly knew what she was doing and knew what worked on what face type.

Nicola was recommended by our venue and was an absolute pleasure to deal with both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself! At the trial, she was so warm and bubbly and instantly put me at ease. I didn't really know what make up look I wanted for the wedding but Nicola was full of great ideas and really knew what would suit me. She was also able to recommended lipsticks etc. On the wedding day, Nicola was a complete star and did a fantastic job with my make up, it looked really natural and lasted all day! Nicola also went above and beyond by helping me into my dress and getting me organised when I was running late! I would highly recommend Nicola to any bride! Nicola is amazing and I'm so happy she was available for our wedding. My make up trial went so well, I knew I was in safe hands with Nicola's attention to detail. I felt so reassured as she understood exactly what I was looking for and I left with a few tips and recommendations for the build up to the wedding.

Nicola is a complete superstar. I was a bridesmaid at a wedding where she was the make up artist and her conduct then made me want to book her for my big day. It was one of the best decisions I made. She kept the whole room upbeat and chatty (I had a very small bridal party). She also put some painters in line in the hallway so my dress wasn't damaged on the way past.
The make up looked stunning and last all night. I was up till 5am so that's impressive! I even bought the foundation She used as it made my skin look like porcelain.
I cannot recommend Nicola enough. She will add such a vibrance to your day while making you look and feel amazing. 11/10!!!!

Nicola was amazing, both before our wedding, with the make up trial and especially on the morning of my wedding. I had five bridesmaids but Nicola made sure we were all ready on time and there was no stress or hurry. She was very professional but also a good laugh so she made the morning of the wedding even more relaxing. My bridesmaids and I were all super happy with our make ups!

She is hands down the ultimate professional, she knows her stuff & I honestly felt amazing on my wedding day.
She is also funny, makes you feel relaxed & very easy to warm to & is extremely patient. She is an expert with the false lashes, putting them UNDER your own lashes & not on top which makes them look more natural. She is the only make up artist I've ever used who didn't make me look like a drag queen, no messing!

Nicola was absolutely fantastic from booking and doing the trial and of course the wedding day. She has a lovely calming nature and is also so nice to chat and have a laugh with. When it comes to the makeup it was exactly what I wanted it lasted well and I felt amazing. She also did my mum who suffers from vitiligo and did a wonderful job. We met her at the RDS show January 2023 and she was so friendly, which is exactly how she was morning of my wedding. Everyone felt as ease around her and had lots of fun getting ready. The makeup was beautiful and lasted all night.

As a bride of 3kids under 5, I didn't wear a lot of makeup and wanted to look natural but flawless. I didn't think this was possible but Nicola made me feel beautiful and I never had to touch my makeup from morning to night. She was friendly and professional, she was like an extra friend at the morning of the wedding, keeping everyone to schedule. For a lady who is always late?it was my first time waiting patiently for my drive to the church. I would highly recommend Nicola for any bride in the search of a fabulous makeup artist.

Nicola looked after myself and my 4 bridesmaids at my wedding in April 2022 and I couldn't have been more delighted to have had her as our make up artist. She was super professional and responsive in the run up and made sure that I got exactly what I needed from the trial, despite my ever-changing mind! On the big day Nicola made sure to take each of our own personal preferences into account so that each of us was 100% happy with how we looked and felt - time and effort that was very much appreciated! The make up was perfect and lasted all day, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Nicola for any bride-to-be!

Nicola travelled a long way to Wicklow to do my make-up on the day of the wedding. As I was immunocompromised, Nicola was happy to wear a mask the entire time she was with us. This meant so much to me. She is friendly, warm, and knew exactly what Mum and I wanted: to look like ourselves, with just enough make-up to look our best. We were so pleased with our make-up. I can't recommend Nicola highly enough. Anyone hiring her services won't be disappointed!

Nicola was amazing! She was so lovely and warm, we were so lucky to have her as our makeup artist! The makeup was amazing! And her recommendations were perfect! I very much wanted a natural look as I wouldn't wear much makeup in general, and didn't want to look different on the day.
Even going for a trial beforehand, Nicola made sure I was happy with everything, and explained everything! She also gave amazing skin prep recommendations. On the day she was so reassuring and supportive, just what you need the morning of your wedding! My makeup lasted the whole day/night with just a lipstick touch up! Perfect! Would highly recommend her!

Nicola was absolutely amazing to deal with. From our first pre-covid meeting to rescheduling our wedding & finally getting to our big day Nicola could not have been more helpful, she is super organised and talking through the pre-ceremony details with her made me feel very assured I was in capable hands. Such a calm and positive person to have around on the wedding day and for the build up. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble even when my nails didn't turn out properly from another supplier Nicola saved the day on the wedding morning. Loved having her in the house to add to the fun of the wedding day and keep me calm! Nicola was so lovely from start to finish. I actually booked her after seeing a friend have her make up done with her. I absolutely loved my makeup for my Wedding and felt it was exactly what I wanted. Nicola was honest and so good at recommending what would suit us. Nicola is excellent at her job and really reasonably priced. We had to reschedule due to COVID and she was so accommodating and supportive. Nicola is straightforward, down-to-earth, and really knowledgeable about skincare and makeup which I really appreciated as it helped clarify what to expect and what makeup would work best. Nothing was too much trouble! My lips dried out really badly before the wedding but Nicola dealt with it so well that you really couldn't tell and I felt completely comfortable. The makeup on myself and my bridesmaids lasted extremely well and showed up beautifully in the wedding photos. Nicola is really experienced so she's a great presence on the day - well able to clarify the process and help the morning run smoothly which you really want (trust me!) She also helped advise on a good hair stylist to book which was great! Highly recommend Nicola!

Nicola was fantastic from day one, any changes I wanted she was willing to listen and discuss in detail. She gives great advice for what suits your skins needs on the day and in the build-up to the wedding. My sister-in-law and both my bridesmaids were delighted with her work. Nicola was an absolutely wonderful makeup artist. From my first consultation I knew I was in safe hands, she came highly recommended by a friend and my sister in law who had both looked stunning on their wedding days. Nicola looked at a picture of my dress and straight away came up with a beautiful, soft makeup look for the wedding day. I was so delighted with my trial and on the big day she really outdid herself! I had 8 people in total for makeup and Nicola managed to give all 8 of us plenty of time, taking into account everyone's personal style and preferences. She was absolutely lovely on the day and had a really calm but organised presence. We all looked fab, I can't recommend her highly enough! Thank you Nicola!

We recently got married here in Co. Kildare and from the week we began planning our day I wanted the best. Nicola from the moment I spoke with you at booking almost 2 years prior to our wedding date I knew I had the right person for our bridal make up. You made each of us feel stunning and thats a very hard thing to do when you dealing with ladies who work in the industry, but you did so well they each loved their make up and it goes without saying that i loved mine. As someone who doesn't wear makeup daily, picking a makeup artist felt like a scary task - Thankfully Nicola was my heroine! From our very first meeting she listened to what I wanted, and guided me as to what I might need (how heavy to go for photos, how to help it last the day, what skin care I should consider leading up to the day).
I had the most beautiful, natural makeup and everyone said it was just stunning. All of my bridesmaids were slightly different in colouring and skintype, but she made everyone look the very best versions of themselves (Including a makeup-phobic Mother of the Bride, who thought it was just lovely and felt great).
She also helped me to plan the timing of the morning (ready 20 minutes early!), and reminded us all to eat a few sandwiches to keep us going. She was fantastic to have in the room on the morning.

Having a really good make up artist for my wedding was really important to me. Firstly, I suffer from acne and, though thankfully my skin improved greatly before the wedding, I wanted an MUA who understood this. I researched a huge amount of make-up artists for my wedding which was small and personal but I wanted it to be perfect.
From the day I met Nicola for a consultation, she was down to earth and approachable, listened to what i wanted which is so important & put her own touch on things. She had both my sister & I in stitches and I knew I had made the right decision in booking her for my wedding.
On the day itself, she was calm and relaxed and set the tone for the day. Everyone commented on their make-up and were all thrilled with the results - which lasted the entire day. My sister was so impressed, she also booked Nicola for her own wedding later this year.
I would without question recommend Nicola to friends and family and am looking forward to having my make-up done again by her in a few short months!!

I would highly recommend Nicola as a make up artist for a wedding. She is so organised she just completely puts you at ease while you are getting ready not to mention she also make you look amazing!!!

Nicola was fantastic! I'm not used to wearing alot of make up so she did a really natural look that made me look incredible. I'v also got some pigmentation issues which she was able to completely cover up. My skin was flawless and stayed that way until the next day! I would highly recommend her!

Nicola was set up with the Ironing Board and away she went. She had us Beautiful even before the photographer and video man arrived!!!
She had a busy morning with me, my bridesmaids and a sister. Two of my sisters never wore make up before in their lives and by god Nicola was firm but fair and was very helpful!
She came highly recommended by my sister in law, and lived up to all expectations. Nicola is a pleasure to deal with, easy to talk too, easy to make contact with and is extremely professional. She is very knowledgeable on all things make up and beauty related, we even got some tips!
It was a pleasure having you around on the morning of my day Nicola, you had us all calm, you helped with the dressing, the make up and almost more importantly the craic ? Never left our side until we left for the ceremony. Would Love to do it all again!

Nicola provided an excellent service the day of my wedding. She was professional, efficient and provided excellent tips to help ease nerves. She really added to the fun of the day, with her quick wit and awesome sense of humour. I would recommend Nicola 100%. :-)

Nicola came highly recommended by two friends and I was delighted that she was available the day of my wedding. She came to my house for a trial and again the day of the wedding. She was so professional and had a calming effect on us all. It was great having her there and she really helped settle my nerves! I don't wear much make up and Nicola knew exactly what I was looking for. My two bridesmaids were thrilled with their makeup too and they looked fabulous. My makeup remained flawless for the whole day and everyone was complimenting it. Thanks Nicola for all your help that day, you were fantastic.

Nicola was excellent. She is truly brilliant and has a genuine interest in what she does and this shows in her work which is amazing. Even though I know nicola for many years she was nothing but professional from the trials right up to the big day. She was so calm and really put everyone at ease with her charming personality. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

My best friend recently got married and Nicola did our make-up. She came to the house on the mornng of the wedding, and waved her magical brushes. I don't wear a lot of make-up and Nicola knew exactly what I liked and wanted, and gave me great skin advice. Nicola is very professional and does her job above and beyond. Well, what can I say? Nicola was just fantastic. Nicola came to my house on the morning of my wedding and did makeup for me, my mam and sister. She completely listened to what we wanted and made us all look beautiful, everyone commented! She was very relaxed, friendly and professional. She went above and beyond her call of duty, even calling to my friend's house on an 'emergency' errand! It was great to have Nicola with us on the morning, I can't recommend her highly enough, thanks Nicola.

nicola did my sisters wedding last year and i was so jealous i was not a BM as all my siters looked really fab. my other sister was so pleased with her makeup she got nicola again in Oct for a ball she was going to and again top marks for that to.We are having another wedding next june so you can count me in this time nicola as im not going to have all the sisters looking better than me this time lol.10/10 from us

On the wedding day Nicola was a star. She did mine, my two bridesmaids, my mams and stepmams make up and everyone looked fantastic. I looked and felt amazing and my make up did not budge one inch (side note it was a particularly hot and humid day in Ireland!) Thank you so much Nicola for being a part of our amazing day!
