I’m Nuala O’Sullivan, a passionate wedding celebrant in Cork dedicated to creating personal, meaningful ceremonies that reflect your love story. As a solemniser I can legally marry you on any day of the week.
I believe every couple deserves a day as unique as their journey together, and I’m here to make that vision a reality.
As a wedding celebrant fluent in English, Irish, and French, I offer personalised ceremonies that reflect your love and unique story. Whether you want a ceremony in your native language, a blend of languages, or simply wish to incorporate elements of Irish or French culture, I’m here to make your special day unforgettable.

Nuala O’Sullivan officiated our daughter’s recent winter wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of celebrant for our daughter’s day. From start to finish, she made the day even more special. It was the first celebration of this kind that my family and I attended, and it was a pleasure to witness. Nuala’s professionalism was vital, as was her charm, experience, grace, and innate ability to put the happy couple, Tyna and Sam, at ease. Guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was later in the evening. Little touches by Nuala explaining the origins of ring warming and handfasting were a treat. They indicated how much time and effort she had put into the short, though solemn and memorable ceremony. Lighting the candles, the readings by family members, and Nuala’s friendly and warm approach made a special day even more so. I have no hesitation in recommending her to prospective brides and grooms. As the mother of the bride, I was thrilled by how much time and energy she invested in the ceremony. I, along with the newlyweds and extended family, thank her unreservedly for the meaningful service she provided.

From our first meeting, Nuala took great care and the time, to really get to know us and this was reflected in the personalised ceremony she created, but it was also fun and heartfelt. Many of our guests commented afterwards on how lovely our ceremony was.
Communication was seamless in the run up to the wedding, and Nuala was always available to answer any questions. We felt supported every step of the way.

Thank you so much Nuala for a gorgeous ceremony. You were absolutely incredible throughout. You provided us with a breakdown of what had to be done from a legal perspective and guided us through it. Following that you worked with us to create a beautiful personal ceremony where we were able to bring together different aspects of us and our lives. We loved having you as our celebrant. It was a truly gorgeous ceremony. You arrived early to greet all the guests on the day and made everyone feel really comfortable.

We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely, kind, thoughtful and caring celebrant for our wedding. From the lead up to the day, how personal she made it all for us, and the compliments and feedback we had after from all our guests, we hit the jackpot!
Nuala really went out of her way to listen to us and how we wanted our ceremony, I’m not the typical romantic person and wanted something that was just right for us and Nuala did just that. Our guests have all been in touch afterwards too to say how much they loved our ceremony and especially Nuala’s reading of ‘our story’ which she spoke about perfectly. She met us over zoom (were UK based) a couple of times and we had several phone chats leading up to the day which all made it so personal to us.

Where to even begin?! From the moment we met Nuala was she warm, approachable and immediately put us at ease. We knew we were in safe hands. She created the most beautiful ceremony for us and made it as personal as possible. It was everything we could have hoped for. The advice on our personal vows was brilliant - nothing as too much trouble! On the day itself she created an easy/relaxed atmosphere with a bit of humour and craic thrown in. From the first contact, we knew Nuala was the celebrant for our wedding. She is clearly passionate about her work and you can tell how much being a celebrant means to her.
We were in regular contact with Nuala and she spent time getting to know us and tailoring a ceremony to out personalities. She had wonderful suggestions, without being pushy, as we didn't have a clue where to even begin. Between the 3 of us we created, what felt to me, the perfect ceremony.
She is warm and friendly. Many people spoke very highly about the ceremony and noted how personal it was to us. With a civil ceremony, you don't get a chance for a rehearsal, but you wouldn't have really known, as Nuala kept the show running incredibly smoothly. She also seemed genuinely happy to be there on the day and involved in our wedding.
I couldn't recommend Nuala enough! If you are searching for your solemniser, you've found your person!

She was very supportive and organized. She really helped guide the ceremony and made us feel at ease for the day.
Prior to our big day we met physically and online at numerous times. Nuala explained to us in details how the ceremony would pan out. It also helped get to know each other so we had a bond during the ceremony.
She also took the time to listen, write and tell our love story into lovely words at the ceremony.

Nuala is an amazing celebrant. She was easy to talk to and she really connected with us. Her writing was exceptional, and we didn't want to change a word. To our surprise, she cleverly entwined our poem into the writing, making our story that extra special. It was just perfect. She made the whole process seamlessly easy with no hiccups. During the ceremony, Nuala was cheerful, bright and clear. She made everyone feel welcome. I would highly recommend Nuala as your wedding celebrant.
