Pam Barrack - Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda

Our wedding day in September 2018, was the most magical and wonderful day we could have ever imagined! This is because of Pam and photographer Francesco. Being a complete control freak it was so hard to let someone else organise the event. Pam and Francesco exceeded our expectations by a million percent.

We got married at Castello Scaligero in Malcesine. It rained heavily at the start of the day. I was in tears! We wanted so much to be outside, with the panoramic view of the lake, but it wasn?t to be. However, the indoor room was still fabulous! We still had a view of the lake and it looked so pretty with all the flowers. The wedding registrar was so kind and such a lovely, caring man. It was a wonderful, moving service, especially with the harp playing. Pam made it extra special with little touches such as asking no one to turn around until the bride was ready and arranging for everyone to have ice cream or a drink after the service, whilst we had photos taken.

Everything about our wedding from start to finish was amazing! We could never have thought of all the things Pam suggested and arranged for us and she never forgot a single thing that we asked of her. Likewise Francesco the photographer, never forgot a single shot that we had requested. Our guests could not believe what a wonderful and hardworking duo they were on the day, and what lovely, lovely people they are. Pam was nicknamed the human flash and Francesco literally scaled buildings to get the perfect shot. It was an extremely full day with the wedding at the castle in Malcesine and the reception a boat and bus ride away at Maso Toresella, Lake Toblino. We had a jazz band, sailing boat extra photos in Riva, a live band, and everything but the kitchen sink, but it all went perfectly! Maso Toresella is a a wine merchants villa surrounded by vineyards on Lake Toblino- a stunning emerald coloured lake. The food was outstanding. We had 4 food areas for canap?s, with one outdoor frying area for tempura seafood and vegetables, a cheese and biscuits section, little boats filled with all kinds of amazing delicacies, such as octopus with purple potatoes, vegetarian choices with apple jelly and many other stunningly presented delights. Then the main sit down meal was 4 courses of mouthwatering heaven.

Pam arranged for us to visit the flower arranger together in order to pick the exact flowers we wanted and they were stunning! The room at the reception looked so beautiful it had us in tears!

The beautician and hairdresser were amazing! So professional! We were in awe of their capabilities. We felt like we were at the oscars!

The evening was finished off with the best live band we could have hoped for, who would rival any wedding band in the UK, and a cake cutting with sparklers. As we were in a nature reserve, we were not allowed fireworks, so this suggestion of Pam?s really worked out. She arranged for extra long sparklers and they made for some great pics.

Pam and Francesco were responsible for making all of this happen and providing us with the choices available for us. We could never have done all of this on our own. Everyone thought the day was absolutely spectacular! We were very nervous about the price considering everything we opted for, but we would have paid much, much more in the UK.

We are so sad to leave Lake Garda, but even more sad to not be seeing Pam and Francesco (until we return for an anniversary). We really cannot thank them enough!
