Ronan Browne is a master of the Irish pipes. Such is his skill that my now wife and I reached out to him with a strange request: we offered to fly him over 4,000 miles to play at our wedding in South Florida. Although Ronan's schedule did not permit his attendance, he tapped into his wide network of Irish musicians to set us with a skilled Irish piper living in Miami. Not stopping there, he checked in on us before and after the wedding to make sure everything was in order (and to comment on how jealous he was of our Caribbean honeymoon). With Ronan, you get a warm personality who is invested in the integrity of the music and making your event wonderful. We can't wait to hear him on our next trip to Ireland!

Ronan is wonderful to work with, and his pipe and flute music is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I had Ronan play the music at our wedding in Galway. We are both from the United States, so we had to plan our wedding from abroad. Ronan was responsive and extremely helpful over email - he gave us many options and suggestions when we asked about format and what songs to play at certain points. Plus he was so friendly! He was flexible and accommodating; our ceremony started a bit late and he played a variety of songs to film the space while all of our guests were waiting. Our church ceremony was so beautiful in a large part due to the gorgeous sound of his pipes. They sounded amazing in person, and really brought the whole ceremony together. Ronan Browne, our piper and flute player was fantastic and brilliant. A real down-to-earth character and gifted musician and very easy to work with. We got married in a fairly small church with around 100 guests. I always wanted Irish music to feature during the ceremony and Ronan's repertoire of Irish instruments were exactly what we were after. His pipes were stunning as was the flute and whistle.
There wasn't any need for accompanying musicians, singers or even amplification, it was elegant and simple, exactly what we were after.

We cannot recommend Ronan highly enough!!

We first saw Ronan perform at a family wedding in Ireland and were so impressed by his talent that we knew we had to have him for our own wedding... but we live in Scotland. A quick e-mail inquiry to Ronan about his availability to travel, or if he had any similarly fabulous Scottish equivalents he could recommend, and he was booked!

The whole process of communication was done via e-mail and Ronan often responded within minutes. Even when 'bridezilla' was e-mailing at midnight! :) He was happy to arrange all his own transport and accommodation, make recommendations for songs, what instruments he could play, when he would play, etc. He was just so easy to deal with, which is a major tick in the box when you're planning a wedding!

On the wedding day we had so many compliments from our wedding planner about how funny Ronan was and how he was entertaining our guests in the build up to the service. He played beautifully at our wedding, for which we cannot thank him enough.

We are a couple that had a destination wedding in Galway this summer. We wanted to have some true Irish music and thus requested Ronan Browne to perform on our pre-dinner reception. That was one of the best choices made! All our guests that travelled from Russia loved the performance, and were charmed by Ronan's cheerful personality. Ronan played for our wedding in August 2015!! When we were looking into what music to have for our special day we knew we wanted something different and special!! We came across Ronan online as we were looking one evening and we absolutely loved his music and the different samples on his website! His music is so beautiful and instantly draws you in...while my hubby and I enjoy traditional music and instruments we were just completely blown away by his music and the ambiance it created even listening online!!!

I'm sure everyone planning a wedding is familiar with the hassle sometimes that goes with planning, googling and organising things and people for a wedding.... ha sometimes you can get so overwhelmed with the jobs to be done and people to contact. Ronan was a breathe of fresh air and the most friendly and fabulous person to work with!! We met with him one windy Saturday afternoon after a wedding he was playing for!! Within seconds he had us laughing and singing along to different songs!!! We had a brilliant afternoon and booked him there and then!! His music , especially in a church or somewhere with acoustics is truly magical!!

We fell in love instantly when we heard you online - booking a wedding from Australia was quite challenging and we had to go on our gut for everything we booked but I was immediately hooked when I heard you ? and you did not disappoint. Ronan brings a variety of musical options with the Uilleann Pipes, flute, low whistle, tin whistle - and just himself! Ronan was easily the best vendor we worked with for the wedding. We are living in USA and had our wedding in Mulranny, Mayo in June 2009. About a month before our wedding day on the urgings of my mother, we started looking for some live music options for the church. We were trying to keep the day simple, so didn't want any heavy duty singing or instruments. I happened across Ronan's page on the weddingsonline website. Ronan sent recordings of the tunes we had chosen and even learned one of them that he did not already have in his repertoire. He was very timely with follow-ups in the communications in the days getting the playlist finalized. On the day he was completely professional, very relaxed and smiling all the way - helping to put everyone at ease. His rendition of Tabhair dom do Laimh on the low whistle was unforgettable. We definitely recommend Ronan and his music for weddings and events.

Well where should i start, From the first time i came across Ronan's web page i could not wait to hear his music as my dad walked me down the isle.

Myself and Maria just wanted to send you a quick thank you for doing the music at our wedding on the 14th of May.

The music was beautiful and added so much to the day (even easing the tension when you struck up the pink panther theme!).

We had people who had travelled from the US and England, some of who had never been to Ireland before so they also loved hearing some genuine Irish music and it really added to the occasion for them. So many people were asking us who you were and saying how wonderful the music was.

HI Ronan. We have been meaning to do this for a while! We again wanted to send a sincere thank you for the beautiful music you played at our wedding back in June 5th. Our friends and family are still talking about it. It added to the magic and the imtimacy of our day. And even though i was as nervous as a cat on the day!, the music had a 'calming' effect on me, so that i could really absorb the magic of our day. Its true what your other testimonials say, you were a true gentleman to deal with, not only on the day, but with all our random emails to you beforehand seeking your advice and assistance!! I would like thank Ronan so much for his contribution to our special day. The support and time Ronan gave in the months before in choosing the music was greatly appreciated. Even when he didn't know one of the tunes, it didn't take him long to learn it and play it to perfection. I will never forget the moment I heard it standing in the porch with my dad waiting to make my entrance! Everyone commented on how beautiful the music was, a friend of mine even rang Ronan after the wedding to book him for her wedding next year. Thank you very much again for you wonderful Music! When we asked our son what he liked best on our wedding day - guess what - he didn't say: "the cake" (and consider the amount of choclate in it...!). Oh no, he said: "Ronan"! Just a quick note to give praise to this guy, even though I didn't have him for my wedding as a friend of the family plays the uileann pipes I found ronan to be more than helpful in helping me with my music choice's for my wedding ceremony (wow) & listening to his pieces would love to have had him..

Ronan is fantastic, an absolute joy to deal with. He played at our wedding in December last and really added to the whole occasion. His music really made the ceremony something special. The church was magical and afterwards at the drinks reception he kept everyone entertained with his mix of tunes.

We would have no hesitation recommending Ronan to anyone. Guests of our wedding are still talking about him.

Ronan wasn't available for my wedding date however his help in finding another piper was second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!
