Salon 2

Thanks so much to the staff at salon 2 who helped in making the months leading up to the wedding exciting & stress free! Having regular contact and a portfolio of your trial and plan was so helpful and nice to have before the day.

Really professional staff on the day of the wedding and they contributed to creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere. They were extremely flexible and highly skilled with regards to the bridesmaids suggestions for Styles. I was so pleased with my hair style & the bridesmaids. I would highly recommend salon 2. They listen to what you want, are very creative and really try to make it all stress free. From start to finish a very professional hair salon.

I don't know where to start! Right from the get go Salon 2 was always so helpful and welcoming, not to mention extremely talented!

Aaron did my hair and I just loved it! It was soft and suited the dress perfectly. Aaron is a Fantastic hair stylist and he was great fun to have around the morning of the wedding. My mum is still talking about his 'fabulous teeth' ????

And then there Ruth. Ruth, answered every tiny worry and question I had regardless of it being related to my hair. I really appreciated her taking the time to reply to my emails and for always being so approachable. She is a very kind and generous lady. Salon 2 is very lucky to have both Ruth and Aaron!

We were over the moon with how professional and accomodating the ladies at Salon 2 were. They made the trial a breeze and made the hair styling look effortless, all 6 guests and bridal hair looked stunning!

The best in the business by far ,the level of service from start to finish amazing .from a simple email to Ruth all was taken care of ,from trial in the salon the week before the wedding and at the hotel on the morning of .Linda was my stylist on the day and she was brilliant she made me feel so at ease ,I knew I had nothing to worry about andi had an amazing day .I would highly recommend salon 2 a fantastic bunch with a great talent.

I loved working with Salon 2 on my wedding day so much. My husband and I traveled from the US to celebrate our wedding in Sligo, so we had to do all of our planning from many miles away. Ruth replied very quickly to my initial request for a quote/availability with all of the information I needed. From there she was so easy to work with on the scheduling for myself and my bridal party (my mother in law, sister in law, mother, 2 sisters, and 3 nieces).
Everything from the trial consultation to the timing was perfect and because Ruth was so detail oriented it was so much less stressful than I expected ( she even recommended a nail salon). My stylist was a total pro. She was fun and easy to work with and new exactly how to style my thin, very straight hair to match the photos I brought in. After my initial trial she even gave me a fun updo to wear out that night. I loved how my hair and the hair of the rest of our bridal party came out and would highly recommend Salon 2.

The team at Salon 2 did an absolutely great job on the hair for my wedding. Shirley did my hair, and Aaron did a couple of the bridesmaids, and my mother also got her hair done. All of us were delighted with our hair, they did such a great job. Shirley was really helpful in my trial, she knew what would and wouldn't suit my hair and had some great suggestions. We got a great welcome in the salon on the morning of the wedding too and they had us in and out efficiently so our morning ran to plan. Would definitely recommend.

Shirley from Salon 2 did an incredible job with my wedding hair, and also with the styling of my bridesmaids upstyles. We were really delighted with the finish, however, it was the way that the team worked on the morning of our wedding that stood out. Shirley and Kathy were calm, relaxed and really helped to set the tone of the day. It was a great help to have an relaxing morning and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I cannot recommend Salon 2 highly enough. I planned my wedding from Australia & the communication (from Ruth) was prompt, informative & they went above & beyond to secure stylists for my wedding 2 days after Christmas. Shirley my stylist was relaxed, professional & an incredibly talented/creative stylist. I am so pleased I chose Salon 2 for my wedding day.

Salon 2 really were so helpful. Ruth was very organised, prompt in getting back to me and accommodating for any and all relatives that wanted their hair done at the same timel.Katie who did my hair listened to exactly what I wanted, was honest in telling me if an idea I had would or wouldn't work. Best of all I changed my mind on the day, she didn't mind adjusting and my hair turned out absolutely fabulously and exactly what I wanted. Cannot say enough good things!!

Thanks for all your help leading up to the day. You always got back to me straight away with any query I had. I would have no hesitation in recommending salon 2 and have done since the wedding. I tried 2 different hairstyles in preparation for my wedding as I wasnt sure what suited me but they helped me decide and gave honest opinions which was appreciated! My bridesmaids & mother also really loved how you styled their hair.

Salon 2 were so professional. They arrived on time, everyone's hair looked beautiful, everyone's hair lasted the whole night. I particularly have to mention Florence who styled my hair (bride). I wanted something really unique and had tried another salon who couldn't really figure it out. Florence is so creative and talented. She got me exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend her and the whole Salon 2 team.

Going back to my home town of Sligo for my wedding celebrations, Salon 2 was an obvious choice. Anthony and his team are incredibly welcoming, genuine and talented people so I knew I was in great hands for my big day. From the moment I booked the services of Salon 2 Ruth the wedding coordinator was on hand to assist and offer advice and was lovely to deal with from start to finish. Katie was our stylist. I brought a picture along for the trial and she nailed the look with ease. On the day I asked for a slightly more relaxed curl and Katie was again able to interpret what I wanted and style my hair exactly how I asked. My style and that of my bridesmaid and mum (who were both equally as happy with their hair) held really well. Katie was a joy to work with. Salon 2 deserves its great reputation as the team goes to so much effort to ensure that they have happy customers and the happiest of brides:-)

Deirdre and all the team in Salon 2 were amazing to work with on the lead up to our wedding and on the morning of our big day, they were Very accommodating with appointment times and made us feel very special on the morning - we were all taken together and all ready to leave at the same time (which made time planning very easy).. Our hair was perfect and I received so many compliments throughout the day. I would recommend Salon 2 to all future brides..

I found Salon 2 after googling ?hairdressers in Sligo? and after reading a few online reviews contacted the salon who put me in touch with Ruth. Ruth was great and always came back to me if I had any questions. I gave her a vague idea of what I had in mind and she emailed me back with photos of styles I might like. I also emailed Ruth some photos of styles I had seen and she gave them to the hairdresser for my trial. I then booked in for my trial and my hairdresser, Florence was brilliant. She really listened to what I wanted, and (more importantly!) what I didn?t want. From this she was able to create a style I absolutely loved. Also had a trial with my maid of honour and my mother and both their hairdressers were equally brilliant. My maid of honour didn?t really know what she wanted but they were able to create something beautiful for her.
On the day of the wedding, three hairdressers (Florence, Aaron and Trisha) came to the hotel where we got married and did our hair. They had a very professional set up, were very relaxed and friendly. The whole operation was overseen by Deirdre from Salon 2 who made sure everything ran smoothly. We also had some family members, who wanted their hair done so another hairdresser set up in another room and did their hair, which they paid the salon for directly. I found the price was very reasonable, especially considering we had me, my mother and four bridesmaids who needed their hair done at the hotel. Spending the morning with the lovely staff at Salon 2 making us all beautiful was a wonderful way to start off my wedding day. I truly could not recommend them enough!

I would like to thank you all at Salon 2 for making the girls look so amazing! They all looked so incredibly beautiful. I was so happy with my hair too, so many people were commenting on it all day! :) It was such a great experience and i am so grateful to you all! I will definitely be telling all my friends to book with you guys for their weddings!

We are well and truly back to reality in Perth now. We had the most amazing day, one we will definitely not forget!

I got my hair done in Salon 2 for my wedding in July 2014 - they did any absolutely breath taking job, which stayed perfect all day - despite the wet and windy weather, The service, care, atmosphere and attention to detail couldn't have been any better. I would highly recommend the Salon 2 team to everyone!

Salon 2 were brilliant, the stylists did a fantastic job! The upstyles lasted amazingly well on
both myself and the bridesmaids, despite travelling in an open MG and a race on golf buggies
around Castle Dargan!

We had a great day. Can?t believe it?s all over... Its goes too quick!!! Myself and the girls were

Thank you so much we had a fantastic day. I cannot say enough about Katie, she was amazing.
She was so professional throughout the whole preparations. My hair stayed in place all day and
long into the night, it was great not to have to even think about it at all. It was exactly how I

Shirley as always produced an amazing upstyle (with no help or guidance from me!). From the 12
months leading up to the wedding, she was very much focused on getting my colour right for the
wedding, the length, etc.
The girls were absolutely amazing on the morning of the wedding and all the bridesmaids and
mother of bride were very happy with their hair.
I am a huge Shirley fan and will continue to be a loyal Salon 2 customer.
