From our initial meeting with Sara, we felt there was something special about this venue and our instincts were absolutely right. As a couple from the United States, we planned our wedding entirely remote, which at the start was a nerve wracking concept. However, Sara made the entire process so easy and seamless from start to finish. She was so communicative and thorough with all aspects of our three-day event, from connecting us with the best local vendors to making recommendations for our dinner selections when we were unable to visit in person for our tasting.
From the moment we stepped foot on the property it was every bit as beautiful as we had dreamed. The venue not only blew us away with its beauty and location, overlooking incredible views of Umbria, but also with the amazing staff that made us and our guests feel right at home. Sara and the rest of the staff truly cared to make every day of our event so special and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay.

As a couple from Australia, it is safe to say that we were excited, but also very nervous about planning a wedding in Italy. Thankfully we found San Pietro Sopra Le Acque who brought our dream wedding to life! We spent over a year planning and discussing the big and small details with Sara (through video calls). Sara was FANTASTIC, and so easy to work with even though we were living in another country. The best thing about this venue was how flexible they were so that we could have everything we were envisioning for our wedding day.
We rented the venue exclusively for two nights, and our family and friends absolutely loved the venue, the stunning views, and the pool.
San Pietro took care of the food across all three days, including wedding dinner, and let me tell you, it was some of the most amazing Italian food! We had a few special requests for food, and the venue did such a great job with it! The staff, and the director were all so professional and friendly, and we will definitely be recommending this venue to anyone who wants to get married in Italy!
San Pietro Sopra Le Acque is honestly more beautiful in person, you just have to see it for yourself!

From start to finish, the entire planning process was seamless. Sara was nothing short of incredible—patient, warm, and endlessly helpful. No request was too big or small, whether it was creating our signature cocktails or even importing Tayto crisps (a must-have for any Irish celebration!). Her attention to detail and dedication meant we could relax and truly enjoy the experience.
The staff who supported us throughout the weekend were professional, kind, and attentive. We felt so well taken care of, and so did our guests.
The food? Absolutely unforgettable. From the delicious pizza party the night before, to our wedding dinner, to the relaxed BBQ the next day—every meal was spectacular. Our guests are still talking about it!

We had the best time of our lives! We did a 3 day wedding event and the team at San Pietro (especially Sara) were incredibly helpful, fast, understanding, forthcoming, and simply joyful...it felt like they were organising their own wedding. The venue is more than perfect, it's spacious with various areas to choose from for different parts of the event, and San Pietro even organises the service providers if wanted. The food is absolutely brilliant and service is impeccable. All in all, it's a 100% recommendation!
