We got married at SPSLA last weekend, and we are still completely on a high. ❤️ Everything was even more beautiful than we could have imagined or planned, and honestly, we hardly know where to begin.
From the very first moment we met Sara, we knew we were in incredibly professional and experienced hands. What we did not know then was just how much Sara, Diego and the entire team would make us feel at home, almost as if ours were the only wedding they had been preparing for all year.
The attention to detail, the genuine care for us and our guests, and the way they seemed to have an eye on absolutely everything is difficult to put into words. They organise so many weddings every year, and yet somehow they made ours feel completely unique and deeply personal. Until the very last moment, we felt less like clients and more like family.
And Sara deserves a paragraph of her own. ❤️ All the organisational stress simply disappeared whenever she was there. On the wedding day, just seeing her immediately lowered my stress level. Whenever I started freaking out, I could message or call her and somehow everything felt manageable again. My husband says that Sara is one of the main reasons I was actually able to let go, enjoy our wedding and truly be present in it. I think he is absolutely right. Sara, you are simply the best.
We also had Piero as our maître and absolutely loved him. He and the whole team cared for us and our guests with so much warmth, kindness and professionalism.
And then, of course, there is the location itself: BREATHTAKING. I am admittedly biased because I adore Umbria and SPSLA, but our guests are still sending us messages telling us how much they loved the wedding, the place and the entire experience.

We had planned to visit several venues for our wedding, but as soon as we arrived here, there was no need to continue with the other viewings: we immediately knew that this was the perfect place for us.
If you are looking for an elegant and authentic venue, free from that opulent, tacky and over-the-top aesthetic, this is definitely the right choice.
The rose garden was undoubtedly the space that impressed us the most: no special decorations are needed, as it is already incredibly atmospheric and refined. The little deconsecrated shrine/chapel, framed by cypress trees, is truly a charming and intimate spot for a wedding ceremony, whether civil or symbolic.
The venue is also very large and offers several different spaces for both the ceremony and reception, so holding the ceremony in the rose garden is by no means compulsory.
We entrusted ourselves to the venue’s wedding manager, Sara, who supported us from our very first meeting all the way through to our wedding day, taking care of every organisational detail and accommodating the needs of our guests. We truly felt listened to and looked after!
I can assure you that on our wedding day everything was organised so perfectly that there were no dull moments or unpleasant surprises. The whole day had a lively, seamless flow, and our guests never had a chance to get bored!
The venue also provides the catering service for the reception, and I have to say that both we and our guests were genuinely impressed by the quality of the service, the generous and beautifully presented antipasti buffet, and the quality of the menu served for dinner itself.
While planning the event, we hoped to achieve a great result, but the actual experience far exceeded our expectations.
Highly recommended to all couples who want to organise their wedding without stress or worries, but above all to those who appreciate the authenticity and understated charm of a historic place. Simply unbeatable!

From our initial meeting with Sara, we felt there was something special about this venue and our instincts were absolutely right. As a couple from the United States, we planned our wedding entirely remote, which at the start was a nerve wracking concept. However, Sara made the entire process so easy and seamless from start to finish. She was so communicative and thorough with all aspects of our three-day event, from connecting us with the best local vendors to making recommendations for our dinner selections when we were unable to visit in person for our tasting.

As a couple from Australia, it is safe to say that we were excited, but also very nervous about planning a wedding in Italy. Thankfully we found San Pietro Sopra Le Acque who brought our dream wedding to life! We spent over a year planning and discussing the big and small details with Sara (through video calls). Sara was FANTASTIC, and so easy to work with even though we were living in another country. The best thing about this venue was how flexible they were so that we could have everything we were envisioning for our wedding day.
We rented the venue exclusively for two nights, and our family and friends absolutely loved the venue, the stunning views, and the pool.
San Pietro took care of the food across all three days, including wedding dinner, and let me tell you, it was some of the most amazing Italian food! We had a few special requests for food, and the venue did such a great job with it! The staff, and the director were all so professional and friendly, and we will definitely be recommending this venue to anyone who wants to get married in Italy!
San Pietro Sopra Le Acque is honestly more beautiful in person, you just have to see it for yourself!

We got married at San Pietro Sopra Le Acque on July 20, 2024. We chose this beautiful location because when my sister married two years earlier, we fell in love with the place, the food, and the professionalism of the staff! We had the ceremony in the enchanting rose garden, then the reception in the park, and the disco in the cloister (wonderful). It's a breathtaking location—large, beautiful, meticulously designed, and offers many options (even if you have a plan B due to bad weather). There's also a small chapel for those who want to choose a religious ceremony. And there are 15 guest rooms! That day is a celebration; the bride and groom should enjoy it and have nothing to worry about... And with them, you can rest assured that everything will run smoothly! The organization is impeccable, the staff is professional and very friendly, the location is magical, the food is excellent (everyone stays at the appetizer and dessert islands)... And then the next day there's the option of brunching by the pool and continuing the party 😊
We recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that will leave us speechless ❤️

We had the best time of our lives! We did a 3 day wedding event and the team at San Pietro (especially Sara) were incredibly helpful, fast, understanding, forthcoming, and simply joyful...it felt like they were organising their own wedding. The venue is more than perfect, it's spacious with various areas to choose from for different parts of the event, and San Pietro even organises the service providers if wanted. The food is absolutely brilliant and service is impeccable. All in all, it's a 100% recommendation!

One of the things that made San Pietro so special was being able to spend three incredible days at the villa with our closest friends and family. When searching for venues, we couldn’t find another property that could accommodate our group in the same way, and having everyone together made the celebration feel so much more intimate and memorable.
The property itself is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully done, and having air conditioning was definitely appreciated! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. Everything seemed to happen seamlessly, which allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our wedding without worrying about all of the details behind the scenes.
Sara was wonderful throughout the entire process. She was patient with all of our questions and requests, incredibly helpful, and did so much to make sure everything came together exactly as we envisioned.
The food also deserves its own mention. We spent nearly a month traveling throughout Italy, and the food at San Pietro—especially our wedding dinner—was genuinely some of the best food we had during our entire trip. Our guests were equally impressed.
From the beautiful property and accommodations to the incredible food, service, and attention to detail, we were extremely pleased with our entire experience. San Pietro will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t have imagined a better setting for our wedding.
Thank you, Sara, Diego, and the entire team for taking such wonderful care of us and our guests and for making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. We would absolutely recommend San Pietro to anyone considering celebrating their wedding here!
