Selskar Strings

I had the pleasure of hearing Selskar Strings at a wedding recently and they were absolutely excellent, they played so beautifully and such a wide variety of music. I've also attended their candlelight concerts and again have thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Would highly recommend them.

I hired Selskar Strings as a surprise for my (now) wife, and they went above and beyond to help me choose the perfect music for our ceremony. We’re big into games and films, and they helped me every step of the way, arranging a number of game theme songs especially for us. Rebecca went above and beyond in helping us choose our music and the communication throughout was really great. It added such a personal and emotional touch to the day. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the moment they started playing the Zelda theme as my wife walked up the aisle. Couldn’t recommend them enough, especially if you want something a bit different but still classy.

We wanted something elegant for our wedding ceremony music, but also wanted it to feel like ‘us’. Selskar Strings were the perfect choice as they played all the traditional pieces beautifully but also included some other songs that meant so much to us. Rebecca was so warm and helpful throughout the whole planning process, we felt like we were in safe hands the entire time. I actually cried the second I heard them start to play, it was just perfect.

We seen this wonderful group playing at the wedding showcase in the riverside park hotel Enniscorthy and we knew we had to have them for our wedding 🥰 from meeting them there and speaking to them and then emailing back and forth with Rebecca , they made it so easy to choose our music from there extensive repertoire and any ideas we had for music they happily and easily accommodated us , we had so many people saying they’ve never cried to the Jurassic park theme tune , and walking out of our ceremony to the legend of Zelda theme tune was something else 😂 we couldn’t recommend this trio enough , they are so down to earth and wonderful musicians and so professional from start to finish! They really made the ceremony and drinks reception extra special for us and all of our guests are still raving about them including ourselves!!

We hired Selskar Strings for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Nothing was too much trouble. We went for a string quartet for the ceremony and I can still remember how beautiful the music was. I found it hard to choose songs and they helped us out by offering a list of suggestions but also they can play anything! They were great at communicating also to make sure everything was in order for the wedding. Very reasonably priced as well. Highly talented professional musicians. I can’t praise them enough and they made our day one we won’t forget! Thank you Selskar Strings!
