The Mass Band
The MASS Band is a super funky, 6-piece, sax-fuelled, disco extravaganza hailing from Sligo on the Wild Atlantic Way. We play weddings, events, and parties at venues all over Ireland and beyond.
MASS is for music lovers, and our lively repertoire of of classic pop, soul, disco, 80s, and 90s bangers will make your reception feel like a fun, festival-style dance party full of old school classics that are instantly recognisable to every generation and get all ages onto the dancefloor. Uniquely fronted by two strong and dynamic female musicians, MASS bring a wild, exciting, party feel to your wedding.
MASS can also provide extra services for your special day including an amazing in-house DJ to seamlessly follow the live show, live drinks reception music with groovy sax-based jazz or hoppin’ Irish trad, and a menu of live ceremony music options to suit your occasion.
MASS have years of experience as a fully professional band and travel with our own top level sound and lighting equipment for a high-quality show. We always play a fully live show with no pre-recorded backing tracks.

Reviews of The Mass Band
We requested a version of Time of My Life for our first dance. We had rehearsed using the film recording so we were nervous about doing it live, but they made sure to keep it at the same tempo and still managed to give it some of their own flair. We couldn’t believe how many people got onto the dance floor straight after! The manager at our venue told us it was the most people he’s seen on the dance floor for the longest stretch of time.
Would absolutely recommend to any music-loving party people!
