Our musicians are at the top of their game! Each with nearly two decades of experience, They've supported, recorded & performed with big artists such as Van Morrison, Snow Patrol, Tom Jones, even Ray Charles! They've worked with many top corporate clients such as Aston Martin, Irish Hair Awards, Ferrari, Down Royal Racecourse, IN! Magazine. Dave has even sung with Michael Buble in his hotel bar!
The Merchants pride themselves on offering a cooler than average wedding band, never cheesy, never the same performance twice, they engage with their audience. They don’t go for cheesy numbers or party games.

The band were really fantastic - a great versatile playlist, everyone young and old were on the dance floor for the whole night and they are all round superb musicians. Dave is a wonderful singer - he handled ballads, contemporary songs and the blues with ease. All our guests told us how much they enjoyed the band. Our only complaint - the next day our feet were sore from dancing :) A cut above any other wedding band I have ever heard.

Amazing!!! Everyone commented on how great the band was at our wedding. The music appealed to a range of age groups and had everyone on their feet. Dave and the band members created a fantastic atmosphere at our wedding reception. I would highly recommend them to any future wedding couples.

These guys had the guests hopping from the first song to the last. We could not have asked for better. So many of our guests said it was the best reception they had ever been too and this very much in a large part to Dave and his mighty band. We are looking forward to seeing them again.

Truly a fantastic band, we really could not have been any happier with the guys. They made a special day so memorable, they had the dance floor filled beginning to end with what I would say a tough crowd. 5/5 10/10 100/100, simply professionals.

On our wedding day our guests kept saying 2 things. 1 how beautiful my bride looked! 2. How amazing the band was. Dave the singer even stayed after the performance to have a drink and chat. Top quality music and professional from the booking to the setting up of equipment. We both couldn't recommend these guys enough. Now we are just looking for an excuse to hire them again!

Such a good band, got everyone up dancing and sounded amazing. They were able to play every song we requested and really made our evening fun.

I could not have asked for a better band on my wedding day than Dave Martin and his band. Everyone had so much fun and I have recommended them to everyone I know who is currently engaged! They were happy to start playing a little earlier than they usually would for me, and Dave was also able to continue after the band had finished and do some DJing as well.
I found the band online looking for a jazz band, heard some of their previews and knew right away that I didn't want anyone else!

The band were fantastic in every respect. They played at a wedding I was at about 6 months before mine and I knew I had to have them at my own wedding. Everyone at our wedding loved them and were on their feet dancing the whole night. We were able to pick from a wide range of songs and they couldn't have been easier to deal with. They made our evening celebration a very special event and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Front man Dave Martin was really helpful and friendly (as were the rest of the guys on the day) from the initial enquiry through to the final goodbye. He's also quite the showman and enjoys caputring a bit of mobile video footage during the songs (at no expense to the performance) which was nice to see after.
Highly recommended and hope to see them again in the future.
