The Mixtape

We had The Mixtape play our wedding this August, and we could not recommend them enough. We got the got the horn section add on and DJ. Everything was seemless from start to finish. The dance floor was full the whole night. I know I never left the floor. We saw family members who are normally wallflowers cutting a rug. We got so many compliments on the music, people were talking about them for days after. We would book them again in a heartbeat.

We booked MixTape for our wedding where we first came across them on a wedding website. We then subsequently witnessed the band perform live at a friend's wedding, we were delighted that we made the right decision. For our actual wedding they pulled out all the stops, from our first dance request to making the set an all-round winner with every guest at our wedding, we cannot recommend The MixTape enough! We had Mixed Tape as the band for our wedding in August and I couldn’t recommend them more. True to their reputation the band brought great energy and did a bride v groom singing contest! Highly recommend the brass upgrade and DJ. Our wedding was a mix of guests from Ireland and the US and the Mixed Tape’s set list catered to everyone. The DJ was loads of fun and led the charge for row the boat! Mixed Tape also worked with us to make sure that all went smooth with the first dance song and mother/son and father/dance. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I just want to say thanks for the band and DJ at the wedding - they were brilliant and we had a ball and everyone was on the dancefloor all night! We hadn’t been able to see you in person beforehand so took a chance based on your videos, and you lived up to your reputation and we were delighted with the result. Everyone was saying how much craic they had up dancing :) highly recommend!

We couldn't recommend the Mixtape enough - they were amazing! The dance floor was full for the whole night (a lot of people have said it’s the best dance floor they have ever seen at a wedding), which is all credit to the band! They worked with the room and really brought a great energy, thank you!

We got married in Angler's Rest, July 24 and had the pleasure of having The Mixtape as our wedding band. We had chosen them because their song selections/choices matched with what we are into and we also felt that our guests would dance to them to. We weren't wrong on that score! A great live band, they brought a lot of energy to the room and had the floor packed from start to finish. Our guests from Switzerland were also amazed by the band and said it was one of the best parties they had ever been to. And that sums it up: they bring a great party vibe. The DJ also continued this atmosphere and had really taken on board all of our many requests that we included on our Spotify playlist. A pleasure to deal with too.

The Mixtape played at our wedding in Borris House on the 29th of June and they were just incredible! We opted for the brass add on and the DJ with sax player for after and all were true professionals and played so well. I think some of our guests thought they were actually at a concert! The band and DJ did a great job of encouraging more people into the dancefloor but it was never empty anyway which we were so delighted with! We would happily recommend The Mixtape to anyone looking for a wedding band! Thank you so much!

We decided to book the Mixtape band for our outdoor festival themed wedding in June even though we hadn't seen them before, but judging from their website and the reviews we thought they would be the perfect finishing act. My god, were they fantastic!! They had the whole crowd (mixed ages from 17-70 years old) up dancing for their entire set. Their set list is amazing, and they were more than happy to work around our taste and requests in the lead up to the day. We did add the brass section (which brought the cost up- hence the 4/5 stars), but it was totally worth the extra money. They were so easy to communicate with too, I would happily book them again.

Music was really important to us both when booking a band, we were looking for a young, fun, interactive band with a mix of music to suit all ages & we were not disappointed, the dance floor was full all night & the band had everyone up and dancing having a great time. Emails were answered quickly and nothing was too much to organise, would highly reccomend the mixtape for your wedding!

The Mixtape played at our wedding in Jun24 in Trudder Lodge and were one of the highlights of the whole day. The dancefloor was full for the whole night and all our guests raved about them! Highly recommend booking the Mixtape!

We had the Mixtape at our wedding in Rathsallagh House and we cannot rate them highly enough. Naoise made the booking and admin side of things so easy and communication was great. We opted for the brass upgrade and the DJ after the band finished up. The dancefloor was hopping all night and we received so many comments after the wedding about the music. I would 100% recommend the Mixtape to anyone getting married - a great night is guaranteed!

The Mixtape played at our wedding in Mount Druid in May and all I can say is they are sensational!

They music was brilliant and everyone was up dancing all night. Our guests had an absolute ball (as did we!) and everyone is still talking about how amazing they were.

We also booked the DJ to come on after the band and he was great! Somehow he managed to seamlessly blend a million song requests from guests ranging from heavy Techno to Ronan Keating to Kneecap! We don't know how he managed it but everyone was over the moon!!

They made it a night to remember, would definitely recommend.

WOW! We booked The Mixtape for our wedding at The K Club on 25th May 2024. The communication pre and post wedding was impeccable and they were very accommodating. From the first dance to the last DJ song, these guys were incredible! The dance floor was never empty and guests haven't stopped complimenting them! We had the Mixtape perform at our Wedding in May and I cannot recommend them more! They are very talented musicians and performers, they also know how to keep the party going and get people on the dance floor! The Mixtape played at our wedding in Mullingar last weekend. I'd found them after seeing them at another friend's wedding a year ago and decided to book them for my own wedding right away. Their energy is fantastic and really kept everyone on the dancefloor throughout the night. I'd happily recommend for anyone to book them for their wedding, and make sure to also spring for the brass section!

Wow - what a night! We had been recommended the band after a disaster with our original booking (a different wedding band) and we took a leap of faith and booked The Mix Tape. They were INCREDIBLE with our crowd. SOOOOO much fun and ENERGY, with a very charismatic frontman and such a talented band. They played a genius mash up of old classics and a few curveballs which just worked...they kept everybody up on the dancefloor...singing their hearts out and dancing their socks off! All the generations were up, despite being full on the Virginia Park Lodge wedding meal (if you know, you know) Lots of interaction with our guests (they are still talking about it 3 weeks on)...and an epic sing off. This was something even we didn't know we needed but it WENT OFF! We 100% recommend booking this band for your wedding. I wish they could have played all night, or that we could bring them back home to England. Absolutely World Class - Thank you for making it so memorable for our special day.

The Mixtape played our wedding on 1st of December 2023. From the second they started playing the dance floor was packed! Communication with Naoise was always so easy and helpful in the initial booking stage and the run up to the wedding. We were absolutely blown away by The Mixtape. From the very first song they played at our wedding, they set the tone for the night. Their professionalism was evident throughout the entire planning process. They did an amazing cover of L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole for us for our first dance. We left the song selection in their capable hands for the rest of the night, and they had the dance floor packed from beginning to end.

They were very accommodating, easy to communicate with, and showed a genuine interest in making our day special. We added the brass and it was well worth it.

The Mixtape had the dancefloor going wild at our wedding! There were sing offs, dance offs and all ages just having an absolute ball. We were delighted to have The Mixtape play our wedding in Tinakilly House a few weeks ago. We had chosen the band after seeing them play at two other friends' weddings. They play a brilliant mix of songs that get everyone up on the dancefloor. The highlight of their set was the band playing our first dance (an extremely niche song that they had to learn). We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The DJ set after the band was also fantastic.

We had the pleasure of having mixtape play for our wedding in October 2023. Very professional and easy to deal with. On the night they were absolutely amazing. They really exceeded our expectations - the dance floor was full all night ! The dj section was nuts! We had the mixtape play at our wedding in September, they came very highly recommended and seemed like the right fit for us. To say they blew our expectations out of the water would be an understatement. We had the sax and trumpet add on and the DJ set. The dance floor wasn't empty for one single note of any song, the dance floor was honestly full until the DJ finished up. I love seeing photos of all our guests having an absolute ball!!! If you want a band that will have the dance floor buzzing and full all night long then I can't recommend the mixtape more.

We knew we couldn't go wrong booking The Mixtape and they delivered. Zero fuss, and guaranteed to have a few songs to get each guest on the dancefloor.

Omg, I honestly do not know where to begin! To give you context my husband and I live in the UK so we didn't have the luxury of listening to the band live before booking them, but after reading reviews and watching a few YouTube clips, we decided to go for it and we are so thankful that we did! The band and the DJ were phenomenal from start to finish.

We had quite a few guests at our wedding, so I suspected during the night half would be up and dancing and the other half would just sit down and watch, but that wasn't the case at all. Everyone was up and the pain in our feet the next day was just a sign of how amazing the entertainment was. Even when some of our guests didn't know some of the songs, The Mixtape made an effort to get everyone on the dancefloor, which was amazing. Loads of our guests had said to us that this was one of the best weddings they had been to and we believe The Mixtape and their DJ had a big part in this.

The DJ was amazing as well. We also had a mix of different cultures at the wedding and the DJ took song requests from our guests but still mixed this up, so that everyone was enjoying themselves and could sing along on the dancefloor.

I also didn't want to go without saying how amazing Naoise was, from the point of securing the date and paying a deposit, Naoise was amazing in explaining what was needed from us before the wedding date. She also ensured to check in and follow up, so that we didn't miss any deadlines.

Thank you so much again for such a great evening, the memories you have given us is something we will keep with us for a lifetime!

We booked the mix tape during Covid having scrolled through You Tube looking at Irish wedding bands. What we liked about he mix tape was that they seemed high energy and kept people on the dancefloor. On our wedding day this is exactly what they did. From the minute they started to the last song they had people up and dancing. When the dancefloor was starting to empty they would encourage people back on with songs and games to keep the momentum going. All our guests of all ages had a great time and the mix tape certainly deserve a lot of credit for that. We would highly recommend The Mix Tape as a wedding band for any couples due to get married.

The Mixtape performed at our Wedding on 5th of AUgust this year in the Keadeen, and they could not of been any better. They were amazing on the night and accommodated some of our requests of specific songs really well. The best part was that the dancefloor was never empty and they did an amazing job at keeping everyone engaged and playing amazing songs.

Before the even Naoise was brilliant to deal with and no job was too big or too small and they managed every request so well. We were both thrilled with them and the DJ they supplied afterwards.

The Mixtape Wedding Band played at our Wedding on July 21st at the Castleoaks in Co. Limerick. The Band were so flexible in everything we wanted, and worth every single cent we gave them. They were able to read the room correctly, and knew exactly what the crowd wanted. Its fair to say the floor was never empty, and all of our guests were in awe of them. They couldn't have been nicer, and performed our first dance exactly how we wanted them to. Amazing Band, and one of the highlights of our day.

They were very efficient setting up on the wedding night and got the party atmosphere going strong! We went with the sax option with the DJ and delighted we did. The dance floor was full for the night and we the atmosphere was honestly electric, we still can't stop looking back at the videos of the crowd on the dance floor! it's been so great to have the Mixtape and the DJ for our special day at Trudder. Everything was absolutely perfect and so easy. despite the smaller group we had (50 guests), they got them dancing all night! My now husband plays a lot of live music himself and we're both quite picky about our music so it really means a lot coming from us. especially if you're looking for a bit more rock / alternative music style. What's more they were super organized, contact was good and effective and on the day I didn't have to worry about anything. thank you for helping us make our day so perfect.

Fantastic band, had the floor filled whole night

We used The Mixtape recently at our wedding in Tinakilly and cannot recommend them highly enough. Right from the first contact that were a pleasure to deal with and would always get back to you immediately with a response.
As for the music itself, both ourselves and our guests were simply blown away. They played anything we requested and cater a setlist towards each individuals preference and they kept the dancefloor hopping all night. Even people who I had never seen dance and thought you'd never see dance were up for the night and you couldn't get then off the dancefloor which is a testament to the band themselves and the awesome setlist the put on which caters to everyone. Cannot recommend highly enough, book now if you are lucky enough that they are free for your day.

We are so glad we booked Mixtape for our wedding. We knew we wanted a good band and had looked at a few but when we went to a showcase Mixtape were playing at we just knew we had to book them and we are delighted did!! All our guests have commented on how good they lads were and the DJ. They had everyone up dancing all night. If you are lucky enough to have The Mixtape available on your wedding day, don't give it a second thought and book! Music was really important to us and the Mixtape were absolutely incredible. The energy on the dancefloor was amazing, it was packed from when they started to when the DJ finished. So many guests commented on how great they were. We opted for the brass/ sax upgrade and would highly recommend!

As well as being so good on the night, communication was excellent in the leadup to the wedding when picking a first dance and sending on DJ requests. The same can be said before the set-up on the night, we were able to plan photos right before the first dance and it all worked out perfectly.

From the moment we made contact with them, right up until the Big Day itself, they couldn't have been more helpful. They start by emailing you a list of their (always growing) repretoire and ask you to select which songs you would like. This gives them a sense of your musical tastes and they cater a setlist to suit your tastes perfectly. They even played our first dance, "Rainy Night in Soho" (which might be considered a little off-piste).

The dance floor was packed for their entire set and everyone had a blast.

The DJ set was equally brilliant. He followed the same steps, catering a setlist around our taste/ choices.

There is the optional extra of adding a saxophonist to the DJ set, which we opted for and I have to say it really added that wow factor to the end of the night. Everyone mentioned this little extra to us in the morning. I would definitely recommend this as an add-on!

All in all, we couldn't recommend this band highly enough!

The MixTape played our wedding just after Christmas 2022. From the first interaction they were really easy to deal with and offered a few different options to suit budget and event. In the run up to the big day they sent us on info on first dance options and ideas, as well as sample set lists.
On the night itself they were brilliant, so many people commented on what a great band they were. We spent the whole night on the dancefloor and then the DJ started as soon as they played their last note, seamless. Also shoutout to the DJ for finishing the night on such a high, he chatted to us about what the final songs should be and they went down a storm!

These guys are an absolutely class act from start to finish! They played at our Wedding in December 2022 and the dance floor was full the entire night with young and old guests. Their set list was fantastic and they were so accommodating with any requests we had. The saxophone session coordinated with the DJ is something to witness and was an unbelievable addition to the night. We had the best party ever on our wedding day and it was because of The MixTape!

Absolutely brilliant! Just go ahead and book these guys, you will not be disappointed. They played our wedding last December and were absolutely fantastic, everyone commented on how good they were and how much fun they had. For us one of the main things we wanted on the day was to have fun, and the band are key to the entertainment so it was the best investment we made on the day. The set list accomodated all ages and they read the room and atmosphere extremely well and had the dancefloor packed all night. We added the brass section, sax player and DJ and they all tied together seamlessly to create a really fun night so cant reccomend that package enough, the sax player staying on was a great shout as it kept the atmosphere ticking over from the band set into the DJ set. The Mixtape were our wedding band on 25.11.22 and we could not have been happier. If you want your guests on the dance floor all night then definitely book The Mixtape! From the minute we got in touch with Naoise it was just so easy to deal with The Mixtape and on the night the band were so nice to deal with and so accommodating! It was also so handy that they were able to share ideas for first dance songs!

From the time we first got engaged, we agreed that good music was one of our main priorities for our wedding. However, being based in Australia meant we were unable to go to any showcases. We did a lot of research, and booked The Mixtape based on reviews, videos and a sample playlist. We booked early January 2019, ahead of our wedding planned for November 2020. Covid prevented us going ahead on that date, and our next booked date in November 2021. We were finally able to proceed on 19 November 2022.
Throughout the entire process, from initial queries, postponements, and to the wedding itself, Naoise and the band were incredibly easy to deal with. We received prompt and reassuring responses to anything we asked. They were also incredibly accommodating in agreeing to perform a song outside of their usual repertoire for our first dance.
As part of our RSVP, we had asked guests to tell us one song guaranteed to get them dancing. We sent this on to Naoise, and between the band and DJ they took all of those requests into account in their final playlist. Everyone, from my young nieces and nephews, to older relatives got up and danced. Once people were on the dancefloor, they never left.
Over a month later, people are still commenting on how great the band were.
We are beyond grateful for everything The Mixtape did, the requests they accommodated, and the atmosphere they created.

In reading about The Mixtape's high energy and ability to keep our guests on the dance floor we knew we were on the right track. We had great contact with them in the run up to the big day, in making sure they were playing a set list we hoped for with no surprises. They were spectacular. We were so happy with them, and delighted we had got the 2 additional band members to accompany the group. They really are the perfect party band that not only had us all dancing, but talking about them for the weeks after. And the amazing Mixtape Dj had us hopping until 2am with us begging for more. OMG! We had The Mixtape and their DJ for our wedding - we were blown away with them. Everyone one of our guests could not get over just how good they were. From our initial contact, they were helpful and professional (especially when we had to move our dates because of Covid). On the night of the wedding they came in and set up like ninjas! Unreal! The Mixtape played at our wedding on 16th July 2022 in Darver castle and they were amazing! Our wedding was postponed due to Covid and Naoise was a pleasure to deal with from we first booked right up to the wedding day itself. On the day they quietly set up the stage and said a quick hello before beginning with a song we had requested them to play for us, then straight in to some floor fillers to get everyone up dancing. They did a bride guests v groom guests dance off which was great craic and really brought the quieter guests out of their shells, there was a competition to be won after all! The mix of music they played was amazing, we are both music lovers and didn't want a traditional wedding band and they certainly delivered (while also playing some of the usual wedding favourites). The Mixtape were unreal for our wedding. Setup was seamless, and straight after the first dance they had the dance floor hopping! We heard from several people during and after the wedding telling us how good the band were. All the lads were great to deal with and their interaction with the crowd was great craic! Straight after the band the DJ came on for more dance floor fillers. A good band is key for a good wedding and the lads nailed it. Would highly recommend them, money well spent!

Where can I start, the boys turned up ready to get the party started!

The helped us to put together a playlist of songs that we really wanted to hear, including our first dance, which was really magical and personal as it was sung live!

The band setup was great, lights were amazing, and quality of music was epic.

Overall, they were very lively from state to finish, and it suited our friends perfectly (late 20s - early 30s) and the family loved it too. They got everyone involved and made it a real fun and enjoyable night.

The DJ was great too, he brought some brilliant tunes and played pretty much all of our requested songs, maybe even some extras added on the night!

The Mixtape and DJ Colin played at our wedding in March and were absolutely fantastic! We are three months on from the day and people are still talking about how brilliant they were! The band had the tricky task of getting people going right after finishing a big heavy meal but they knew exactly what to do and we even had some guests leap frogging over each other on the dance floor for a finish. Another guest told us that, according to their Fitbit, they managed to do 12k plus steps just from dancing during DJ Colin's set alone.

We had The Mixtape play at our wedding in August 2020. At the time when only 50 people were allowed due to Covid restrictions, we were unsure how a live band would go down. We had nothing to worry about though, the guys played a great set and had everyone on their feet - they were excellent from start to finish and were followed up by a great DJ that they provided who kept the party going!!

The mixtape played at our wedding at the end of August - they were absolutely brilliant - it was a small wedding but they kept everyone on the dance floor and we had so much positive feedback from guests.

The mixtape played at our wedding on 7/3/20. All through the planning process they were so helpful, speedy replies, flexible with dates and so easy to work with. They absolutely made the night - they lifted the energy and had great games to get everyone out dancing. Everyone commented to us about how brilliant they were and I just wish we could do it all over again with them. Recommend this band to anyone getting married in the future!!!!!

The Mixtape played our wedding on 6th March 2020 at Barberstown Castle and we were delighted that we chose them. Their mix of high energy songs and enthusiasm ensured that we always had a good crowd on our dancefloor - something which we felt was very important to keep the party atmosphere going. When energy among our guests was flagging, they nicely upped the tempo to get everyone up and out dancing again.

We hired the mixtape to play at our wedding last December. It turned out to be a great choice and money well spent. We were so impressed with every aspect of this band. Firstly they are excellent musicians and entertainers and played very high quality music. Secondly and most importantly for us they made a huge effort to get the dance floor full, they interacted with the crowd and used great initiative to keep our guests on the dance floor.
As well as the two points above we were so impressed with their responsiveness and how eager they were to meet our every need. They contacted us well in advance of our big day to discuss our first dance (which they performed excellently) and our desired set list. On the big day itself the lead singer sought me out in a discreet manner to advise me that they had arrived, what their plans were and to ensure I was happy with everything - that was really appreciated.
The DJ they provided followed suit and played really great quality music that met the needs of all our guests, young and old.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the mixtape to anyone looking for a wedding band - they were excellent from start to finish and made our big day all the more enjoyable!

We initially heard about ?The Mixtape? on the wedding blog ?One Fab Day? and they instantly stood out from the crowd for us! We felt so lucky that they were available on our date and from day one Naoise and the guys were so helpful. On the day, the playlist was amazing and our guests really never left the dance floor. I've been to weddings before where the dancing is a very slow starter and I really didn't want that to be the case at ours....but we didn't even have to worry. The Mixtape are such great entertainers aswell as musicians and singers - our guests raved about them!
If you are in the process of looking for a band to play at your special day and The Mixtape happen to still be available on your date, go for them. We would definitely choose them again.

The lads were absolutely class. I think I left the dance floor for one song. And that was only to go the loo! I'm pretty sure they played nearly all of the requests I had sent and the rest were brilliant choices by the band. Everyone seemed blown away by how good they were and we still have people mention it to us almost a year later. Our wedding wasn't massive in size, but the band made it feel like it was. They kept the floor filled throughout the night. Could not recommend them enough!

The Mix Tape played at our wedding at Ballybeg House in November and were nothing less than AMAZING, we cannot recommend them more highly!!! They went above and beyond all our expectations, Naoise was always so easy to deal with, he sent us suggestions and time schedules (things that we hadn't thought of) and was always so quick to respond to queries.
They had our guests up dancing for the whole night with kickin tunes and smashing interactions (they just knew how to ready the crowd) and the energy was just electric!! The next day we found 12 pairs of shoes and on delivery to their rightful owners, each of them raved how good the band & DJ were but how they had such sore feet, a great testament to The Mixtape's performance. The Mixtape were the wedding band for our October wedding and we really couldn't have chosen better! From start to finish they had the crowd going with a brilliant set list and some fantastic audience engagement. We have had so many compliments on how fantastic they were at getting everyone up; even some of our quieter guests were up singing and dancing the night away. I've never been to a wedding where the band got so involved, called people up onto the dance floor, split the group into teams, had a sing-off, called upon the bride and groom, and played amazing music at the same time! I couldn't fault the mixtape, from booking through to the wedding. They kept the party going, played the best songs. I would recommend them to anyone. We changed the date of our wedding half way through the year and they changed it with ease. They were at the end of a phone or email to answer any questions regardless of how small or silly.

This band know how to keep everyone on the dance floor. We had them for our wedding in May and all I can say is you will not be disappointed. Getting the right band was so important to us. We were really nervous if the band would be to everyone's taste and would they appeal to all of the different ages at the wedding as we had been to a lot of weddings that had empty dance floors. We need not have worried The Mixtape were absolutely amazing, I don't think we left the dance floor once during their set. They had everyone up dancing, singing and participating. Very talented, great vocals, top musicians and fun-bringing band! Attentive to the specific tastes of the wedding party - many eclectic hits which kept a very energetic group going well into the night!
Took the time to get to know us before, as well as tuning into to what they learnt from the speeches and the reaction of the group, also accomodating of the schedule, very sound! ... these extra details meant they offered a very special and unique set... transition from band (we opted for Brass section to be included... well worth it!) to DJ also great.
From love songs to mosh pits - really awesome to have them part of the day!

A huge thank you to the Mixtape for an awesome evening's entertainment and fun! There was lots of interaction with the guests and encouraging people to get on the dancefloor.

We particularly appreciated that after the day's events running late and the venue not being ready for the band when they arrived, they still played a full set, and the DJ kept the dancefloor going well into the night. Other bands would've taken the change to duck out early with a shorter set, so we were delighted that the Mixtape kept the party going and the dancefloor was never empty!

Together with our customised first dance, It made for a very memorable evening and we'll be recommending the Mixtape to any friends getting married in the near future!

The Mixtape played at our wedding in Carton House on 9th November 2018 and it was the best decision I made. I contacted Naoise back in Feb and asked if they could play our first dance song but put their own spin on it and did they deliver!! The lads turned our wedding into a full on party- the dance floor was full from the first song and they were so interactive with our guests. There was a bride vs groom challenge, a dance off, a conga chain of 80+ guests which travelled throughout the old rooms of Carton House collecting more guests and the set list was such a deadly mix. Friends and family are still raving about them 2 weeks later!

Food and music are the two most important elements of your wedding (after your vows of course) so you may stop looking- you have found your wedding band!

I had never seen the Mixtape perform before booking them, I went purely on their reviews which are incredible, and deservedly so. I'll have to plan to renew our vows so I can book ye again!!

We hired the mixtape to do a band & DJ set at our wedding in Clonabreany House. The Mixtape were absolutely class for our wedding on 14th Sept '18 in Renvyle House. Music was a massive part of our wedding weekend as it was non-stop from the ceremony through to Day 2 but best decision we made was having Mixtape as our Band and DJ. Naoise was great to deal with, played all our requests from various parts of our life and the Dance floor was full all night. The Mixtape were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. On the night of the wedding our guests and us did not leave the dance floor! Before our wedding I was worried we wouldn't have people on the dance floor but I need not have worried - they were exceptional at getting everyone involved!! The best investment we made was in the Mixtape.

The Mixtape (and DJ after) went above and beyond our already high expectations. We loved every minute of their set at our wedding in Boyne Hill house at the start of the month. As did our guests. All the guys were incredibly nice and chilled to deal with. They played an amazing redition of Tom Odell's ?Grow old with me? which was a wonderful surprise as we were expecting a recording. One guest commented how it was a great gig - unusual to hear for a wedding band- but it summed up the electric atmosphere. The dance floor was full all night. The Middle and All The Small Things are particularly memorable moments which brought a lot of laughs and smiles to our guests faces. Definitely recommend!

When I initially booked them, me being me booked them for the wrong date! I figured this out a few months later and frantically got in touch. Naoise was so helpful and accommodating and changed the date straight away. This was a sign to come of how nice and professional they were.

They played at our wedding on 24th March 18 and they were better than we could have imagined. They had the crowd up and dancing right from the get go (even the men who said "I don't dance") and everyone had a ball. They were so good with getting everyone up and dancing and all of our guest commented on how amazing they were. I think that part of the day for me was when I enjoyed myself the most!! When we were deciding on a band to play at our wedding there was only one band we wanted and that was the MixTape. This was because from all the weddings we have attended there were only two occasions where the band really stood out, engaged the crowd, had the dancefloor full all night and caught our attention. On both occasions that was the Mixtape.

For our own wedding a few weeks ago they did not let us down. In all the dealings up to the wedding Naoise from the Mixtape was highly professional, helpful and efficient in all his dealings with us. On the night itself the band were excellent. The dance floor was constantly full. Every age category of our wedding guests commented on how excellent they were and how much they enjoyed both their song choice and quality of delivery. They really engaged the crowd and really appeared to enjoy performing at our wedding. They were also our DJ and they were so flexible in terms of constantly asking us if we had additional song requests or genres we wanted to play and late requests in particular letting one of the guests sing creep as the final song of the night. We couldn't recommend the band highly enough.

These guys were excellent. The crowd interaction was really great and got everyone going. The mix of songs they played was superb and had something for everyone while keeping feet on the dance floor at all times. We have had loads of great feedback about them from our guests since. They are great in the run up to the wedding too, kept us in the loop and made us comfortable all was in order. Would highly recommend them as they were the perfect addition to our wedding evening.

I spoke to a lady a few months ago, who said she was going to a wedding of one of the members of the Coronas. I said, wow I wonder what band they'll have, and she said The Mixtape! I said "they're our wedding band"!! I had high expectations and you didn't disappoint!

You guys were amazing from start to finish and really got the crowd going. So many people told us that they'd never been to a wedding where they danced so much. The atmosphere was fantastic and we had the best time. I couldn't get off the dance floor, literally until the dj stopped playing. I wish we could do it again. We'll be recommending you to everyone!

The Mixtape played our wedding on July 22nd. All we can say is wow! From performing our first dance song to perfection to playing all eras and genres of music at our wedding to keep the party dancing all night. Not only were other couples requesting their details for their wedding but my boss was also interested for our work Christmas party :)

What can I say other than Mixtape absolutely MADE our dream wedding. We knew it would be risky - we were flying the band to Tuscany (on Ryanair) with only hours to get them to the venue and set up on time to play. But we also knew they would be worth the huge risk as music - and a busy dance-floor - was hugely important to us. Not only did the band keep the dance-floor absolutely packed for four hours, they entertained us with their incredible stage presence and brought out the best in every single guest, even the non-dancers. Mixtape were an amazing band!! So many of our guests have raved about them!! One of our guests said it was best wedding band she ever saw! They kept the tunes going and got people up on the dance floor all night, they used little tricks to get people up as well like sing offs and Congo lines, which was great. We asked for specific DJ songs too which they played for us. One of our guests requested a song which they didn't have and they downloaded it for him, just really nice guys who would do anything to make sure you have a great night. They are are fantastic at getting back to you straight away and very professional, after the wedding they even sent us a list of the songs they had played so that we would have it for years to come. Honestly don't have a bad word to say about them, they kept the party going all night and for that we are eternally grateful, thanks guys!!

Mixtape played an amazing set at our wedding. We wanted to ensure we had music that would get young and old up on the dance floor and keep them there and the band hit the perfect balance on the night. We were looking for a band that would set the tone for a great celebration and party and Mixtape were perfect. They were also great in adapting the song for our first dance.

The guys were very easy to arrange things with from the start, played our first dance song in a really nice way, had a great range of tunes to please all of the generations at the wedding and certainly got the crowd properly going after the meal.

We booked the Mixtape for our big day. They were incredible at building atmosphere, from start to finish. They were'nt an ABC play by numbers band but really built the atmosphere to such a high level it was incredible, it takes a lot to be able to keep the crowd going for so long. All our guests truely enjoyed the band and we got many compliments afterwards about how good of a job the guys did. We met with other bands beforehand but the Mixtape stood out and delivered on expectations. Definitely delighted how they contributed to our day and really great way to get the crowd involved in the events of the day!

The Mixtape rocked our wedding at Ballyvolane House. From the start of their set to the last of the dj set the dancefloor was buzzing. They played a variety of music to suit all of our guests. We recently had Mixtape play at our wedding in the marybourough and they were fantastic from start to finish. A wedding band is so hard to pick, but these guys are without a doubt outstanding. Included everyone, a guest said after the wedding that its odd to see no one at the bar, but it was because everyone was on the dancefloor as the band were so good. Non stop fun!!! These are a professional outfit that know their music. I was on the dance floor from when the band started to when they finished. If you know anything about music then this is the band for you. We had a super night and the band made this possible for us. Would highly recommend The Mixtape to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic choice, these guys played at our wedding at Ballyvolane House in co. Cork in September 2016 and we couldn't have asked for better, the barn was pumping from the start of their set to the end. The song choices were perfect for us and our guests, they certainly know how to get a crowd involved and keep them dancing, and hearing some of those songs will bring back memories of the night for a long long time. We searched for ages to find a band the right end of the 'cheesy' to 'too cool for school' spectrum and they were spot on. Nice guys, they were engaged with us throughout and appeared to genuinely enjoy themselves, Naoise was drenched in sweat (as were the rest of us) at the end - surely a sign of a committed frontman! Also very accomodating - they arranged a special mix of 2 songs for our first dance and also let us take over the stage for a song of our own. Thanks chaps!

We got married on 9 September 2016 at Farnham Estate in Cavan. We live in London so we'd never actually saw the band play live even though we had been invited, we just couldn't make it with living in London. We had watched them online and I got shivers when I saw them sing so I knew they were the ones. I have to say it's been a month today since we got married and people are still talking about the band at our wedding. Aunts and uncles and family members who do not dance were dancing at our wedding. To say the Mixtape work and rock the room is an understatement. It's like they have a magical power to get everyone on that dance floor. They engage with the audience so much and get everyone involved. They're amazing musicians and they even sang our first dance song which was Bryan Ferry, Let's Stick Together. It was incredible to have the live music element for the first dance. We also had the Mixtape DJ after the band finished playing and that was something else, people literally hammered the dance floor then. Let's just say I reckon nobody needed to go to the gym for about a week after the amount of dancing that was done. Not alone are they amazingly talented, they're also highly professional, efficient and a joy to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am jealous of anyone who has their wedding coming up as you're in for some night! A truly talented band who made our night so incredibly special with wonderful memories which we will cherish forever. We thank you.

"What a great Band" is the comment we have heard the most in the weeks after our wedding and myself and Claire could not agree more. We booked The Mixtape from seeing them online and after attending their showcase we knew they were going to be good and they exceeded our expectations by a country mile! Naoise was a pleasure to deal with the whole way through and the lads absolutely rocked it on the night. From our first introduction we had a fantastic experience with Mark and The Mixtape who played at our wedding in August of this year. In the build up to the day they were full of advice and assistance in terms of song choice ect. On the night they made sure they got everyone out on to the dance floor and played music that was perfect for the night. We would definitely recommend the Mixtape.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They are a fantastic band and they are really, really nice people. When completing the arduous task of finding a wedding band, our venue recommended The Mixtape to us. Having never seen the band live I was a bit nervous and scoured the internet looking for feedback on the band. I found a thread on weddingsonline.ie where one user advised "Book them! Just do it!" Confidence boosted I went ahead and booked The Mixtape. I can now confidently give the same advice to you. They were unreal. I quite literally danced for the entire night. No giant wedding dress was going to stop me! The dance floor was never empty. Even my 82 year old grand aunt was up dancing all night. Since the wedding everyone keeps saying to me how great the band was. I just can't say enough good things about these guys. Book them!

What a fantastic wedding band, everyone said they have never seen people on the dance floor and staying on the dance floor straight after the first dance, you guys absolutely made our day, we cannot thank you enough, so delighted we decided to have you as DJ, it was like the party never stopped. We were worried about not having waltz's for the older generation but the type of music you played ensured that the majority of them were up and were also happy to add some Waltz music in in the DJ set, which meant everyone was happy. My words were to start off with my lovely rose of Clare and to build up in to Swedish house mafia and that's exactly what you did what an amazing dance party, don't tell himself but you were 100% the highlight of the day.

Getting the right band was such an important part of our wedding planning, so we reviewed a wide range of potentials and after months of research decided upon The Mixtape, we couldn't have been happier that we did. One of their big claims was they would keep the dance floor packed all evening, having been to a number of weddings I took this statement with a pinch of salt as there's always a lull in proceedings, but they absolutely kept true to their word! Our guests couldn't get enough of the song choices and the interactive elements, all seamlessly flowing from one to the next, resulting in a set that was high energy and great fun from beginning to end. So many guests commented on how fantastic the band was, thank you for keeping us dancing.

The Mixtape played our wedding in Limerick on August 5th 2016. They were incredible. From the moment we first got in touch with them, they were helpful, friendly and professional. Naoise always called or emailed back really quickly, which was great. On the day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for more. They played a beautiful version of our song "Breathless" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and had everyone up on the dancefloor all night, including during a DJ set they played after the live band was finished. They played a huge variety of songs, that appealed to all our guests. They had brilliant crowd interaction and got everyone up and rocking out. They really helped make our big day exactly what we hoped it would be, and so many people commented on the night and since that they were fantastic. The Mixtape played our wedding and they made our day by playing an outstanding mix of hits that had the dance floor packed from start to finish. All of our guests were raving about the band and how they were so much better than the normal wedding band that people become accustomed too. The mixtape are no normal band, they are a class act and I would highly recommend them. Mark and Naoise were both a pleasure to deal with and we wish them every success in the future.

The Mixtape played for our wedding on July 22nd. From the moment we got in contact with them they couldn't have been more fantastic. We organised our wedding from Perth and the boys Skyped us to answer questions, introduce themselves etc. before we even booked. The Mixtape are a fantastic wedding band. We saw them at a show case shortly after getting engaged and instantly knew they were the band for us. They are extremely professional, and their experience and talent shines through on stage. We were thrilled with the show they put on at our wedding. The dance floor was full for the entire night and our wedding guests really enjoyed themselves, commenting that they were so lively, so different and so much fun.

The Mixtape were a fantastic part of our wedding day, everyone was up on the dance floor and they really had the crowd going. They had no problem playing our first dance song and their rendition in my opinion was better than the original! We had lots of people on the night remark at how good the band are!

A major plus also is how fast all communications with the group were. They never went more then a day without responding to an e-mail, which when trying to organise so many things at once was greatly appreciated. The Mixtape also dealt with the venue directly on the day, the only thing we were asked was are we ready for our first dance!

To the lads of The Mixtape - a huge thank you for playing our wedding day on June 17th this year! Our review might be a tad late but by no means does it reflect on you. We had such a ball! You guys are so jam packed full of energy on stage and I remember at one point the whole of the dancefloor literally dripping in sweat! Every song was so awesome they couldnt stop dancing (myself the bride included!!). A seamless performance by you all and transition to DJ was perfect too. As there were quite a few older guests at the wedding you had to work to get them up but yous did so very well. Everyone had such a great time! Ive had a lot of people ask about you guys for their own weddings so fingers crossed we will get the opportunity to rock out to yous again (with no wedding dress in the way this time!). What a band! The Mixtape were absolutely awesome! Full of energy and got everyone up to dance!! We danced our socks off all night to a personalised playlist! Absolute gentlemen to deal with and everyone is still talking about the band, their energy and enthusiasm. We Highly recommend them.

Have to say that the lads put on a super show and were really top notch. They were a pleasure to deal with from the outset and very organised which helped put us both at ease. The Mixtape played all of our requested songs and made a massive effort to get everyone out on the dancefloor which contributed greatly to our night. We really thought they were faultless, great performers and really nice, normal lads too. Got the DJ too at the end who was excellent, really kept everyone out on the dancefloor which is exactly what we wanted.

They played a good mix of songs, with personal highlights being great performances of Starlight and Teenage Dirtbag. We had previously seen them perform at a wedding and were every bit as good at ours. Not sure what else to say, super performance from a very talented group. If the lads are available for your wedding, I would just get them to play, simple as that.

I couldn't have asked for a better band to play at my wedding. From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with. Their repetoire of songs is amazing and they had no problem learning a few requests. Throughout the entire performance their energy was electric. They had EVERYONE on the dance floor! The comments back from friends and family are hugely positive, so much so that I have a feeling some business will be coming their way. If you want a lot of fun and dancing at your wedding then book mixtape you won't regret it! They are worth every penny!

I have read the previous reviews and all I can do is add to the glowing recommendations. The Mixtape are phenomenal. They play brilliant music, which they perform with absolutely bags of energy. In our wildest dreams we could not have expected to see the dance floor so packed! It was amazing! The lads are brilliant and all I can say to any couples is book them, book them now!!!

I cannot praise these guys enough. My husband and I saw them at a showcase in barberstown Castle before we booked them so we knew they were good but they really blew us away on the night. They got everyone up dancing. They brought so much energy to their performance. People haven't stopped saying to me since how good they were. What can I say ...... The mixtape were absolutely amazing on our wedding day , everyone raved about them! They got everyone on their feet immediately after the first dance and the dancefloor was full for the night . Planning a wedding from abroad can be made stressful by suppliers but Naoise and Mark were incredible to deal with , really professional and even sang our first dance song when requested with no trouble . We didn't see the band play before the big day (risky!!!) but they definitely exceeded our expectations. If you want an amazing band for your wedding look no further as The Mixtape were outstanding !! Thanks guys I have been recommending you to all future brides to be I know !!

Would definately reccommend The Mixtape to and future brides and grooms! I was worried about the style of music for our wedding, I really didn't want the traditional wedding band but I knew I'd need to have music to get all ages dancing. These guys were perfect-the dance floor was full all night! They wer great to deal with thought the planning and travelled all the way from Dublin to Donegal for us (we found it was quite difficult to find a band willing to do this as well as not charge an arm and a leg for it!!). All our guests complimented the band afterwards.

We booked The Mixtape for our wedding in October and could not be happier with them! We wanted talented musicians who play great music and get the guests dancing, and that's exactly what we got with this band. We saw them at their showcase during the summer and knew immediately we wanted to book them. Naoise, Mark and Sherry are absolute pro's! We were very keen to find a band which was not your typical cheesy wedding band, the Mixtape was our perfect solution! From our 1st dance Heroes by David Bowie to The Pixies, The Cure, James, The Stone Roses, Violent Femmes and Rage Against The Machine the Mixtape took our wedding day and turned it in to one hell of a party. The Mixtape sound great, they have buckets of energy and they are thoroughly professional. I cannot recommend them highy enough. The barman did comment that they may need to replace the floor in The Millhouse after all the dancing and jumping about!

When we were deciding on our wedding band we wanted something different, something which was a break from the same old wedding band tunes which we had heard at countless weddings over the years. We had a good feeling about The Mixtape from checking out their website and hearing about them from friends and the first time we heard them play at a showcase we knew we had hit the jackpot! On the night of our wedding they nailed it! We had lots of comments from our guests saying how cool it was that they played more recent songs and great covers of rock and indie tunes. Their focus was to have everyone on the dance floor and they certainly achieved that. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout and were very accommodating. They even perfected a cover of a lesser-known Kings of Leon number on request for our first dance, which was very special. We cannot recommend The Mixtape highly enough: talented musicians who will make any wedding a night to remember.

Hi Guys, just wanted to say a massive thank you for playing our wedding in May.
Picking a band was something we put a lot of thought into and we couldn't have chosen better. We had lots of enquiries as to how we found such a great band!
