With 6 weeks to go to my best friends wedding, my bridesmaid dress was too small, I had ordered it before I was pregnant. The bride ordered the dresses in her home town and the shop there could not accommodate a change in size before the wedding… it was looking pretty hopeless until

I highly recommend The One I Love! Not only do they have a great selection of dresses to cater to all shapes and sizes, but Lorren is so helpful and nothing is too much of an ask for her. She helped me get colours that weren't in store, and she also swapped sizes to help a last minute panic. I highly recommend. I can't wait to see the girls in their dresses next week!

We bought bridesmaid dresses at The One I Love. Lorren was so helpful. She went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable and beautiful on the big day. We all loved our dresses and felt incredible on the wedding day thanks the great service. Lorren ensured that the dresses were perfect before we bought the dresses home. A couldn't imagine another shop caring as much about their customers.

This was the perfect place to go for bridesmaid dresses. They have every type, shape, material smd colour available. The girls were so helpful and friendly amd made the process easy. Lorren can also do the alterations in-house which is so helpful.

Loren was incredible to deal with from the moment I booked the appointment to when I got my dress. It was a wonderful relaxed environment at each visit and truely felt special. There was so many beautiful dressed to choose from and size was never an issue. I arrived from Australia about two weeks before the wedding and there was no stress. Loren took care of all the alterations and it fit perfectly on the big day. I honestly cannot recommend 'The One I Love' enough.

Lorren and The One I Love are fantastic. I got my bridesmaid dresses here and from start to finish the service was brilliant. They have a massive range of dresses in different styles and colours, so you are bound to find one to suit. Lorren has a great eye for detail and is so professional and friendly and her alterations were perfect. I would highly recommend The One I Love.

The most beautiful bridesmaid dresses from quality,comfort and tailoring. Very reasonably priced. My fussy bridesmaids were fitted into those dresses like a glove.

Lorren left me with an unfinished and poorly made wedding dress a day and a half before my wedding. It was truly awful and on bringing it to my own dressmaker (2.5hrs away from where I live) to try and salvage it I was told I should not have taken it from her and it was the worst dress she ever seen made. I ended up having to buy a sample dress elsewhere the day before my wedding and because of the timing no alterations could have been carried out to it. As a plus size my options were limited and only one dress was available, which was very fitted, strappy and low cut, on top of being embellished and laced from top to toe. Completely opposite to anything I would ever wear and what I had asked Lorren to make. The stress and disappointment caused by this person still angers me and I would hate for any bride to ever have to go through that. I'm leaving the review here only as Weddings Online awarded her "Designer of the Year 2023" during the months I was having my dress made... The design I came to Lorren with was so basic. No detail, no train, just a simple no fuss dress. It should have been the easiest dress made. Loreen apologised for the ordeal and refunded the cost of the dress, but no excuse is good enough for someone who is meant to be an award winning dressmaker and it will never make up for the stress caused in the days prior to the wedding and how upset, dejected, and self conscious I was made feel on my wedding day. Avoid this person for custom design wedding dresses.

Loren was absolutely fantastic from our first visit to 'The One I Love' until we collected our dresses. She was so helpful, nothing was any trouble. She was so accommodating. We were so delighted with our bridesmaid dresses and flowergirl dresses. Loren had a fantastic selection. She was very friendly and welcoming anytime we came up to the shop. Would highly recommend a visit to 'The One I Love'!

I would highly recommend Lorren and her company ?The One I Love?. I got my 2 bridesmaids dresses in the shop. She has every colour and style of dress you could dream of! So much selection. Also, it was very convenient to get the alterations done in the shop too. A very stress free and enjoyable experience in the shop.

I couldn't recommend Lorren enough from the very first phone call to wedding morning her warm and friendly manner had us all at ease . She has a fabulous selection of both wedding and bridesmaids dresses but what really made our decision when choosing a bridal shop was that she would do all the alterations. I was 5 months pregnant when choosing a dress so i wasn't her easiest bride I'm sure . Everyone was so thrilled with how our dresses turned out . The happiest of all was my 9 year old junior bridesmaid who Lorren made laces for her white runners with the bridesmaid material. Nothing was ever an issue and always done with perfection thanks so much.

My experience is amazing, I got so friendly service from Lorren on the day I had my appointment. She helped me pick my dream dress "jumsiut". I was so happy. When I got my first fitting day I was so happy that I picked second dress for my special day:).I got full service till my wedding day. I really recommend this lovely salon for future brides. :)

Lorren was in charge of my alterations as I got my dress in another shop. Lorren was great and very easy to talk to when it came to different fittings. She made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything. She let me try on different veils, hair pieces etc. She had to do a lot of work with the top part of the dress which is greatly appreciated and was perfect on the day. Lorren was flexible with appointments and even helped with the veil when I decided to wear my moms in the end so it would match better. I highly recommend Lorren to everyone and the dressses she has in stock are stunning. She even dropped the dress up to the house personally (5 mins away) and showed the family how to do the bustle which was a great learning experience for them all.

I purchased my bridesmaids dresses from Lorren, and I can honestly say the level of service we received was second to none. From start to finish, Lorren was an absolute dream to work with. I had 5 girls, one being heavily pregnant & the other a junior bridesmaid. They were beyond delighted with their dresses, and felt absolutely amazing on the day. There is no words that could possibly describe how amazing Lorren is at the one I love dream dresses. My wedding dress I had bought did not fit me 6 weeks before my wedding and she got in touch as she wanted to help me. I'm so thankful she did, one cold wet Monday I was exhausted from trying on so many dresses and eventually was going to give up for the day and was half dressed when a dress fell off the hanger in the changing room and she went to see if it was upstairs in my size turned out the exact one that fell was my size and I put it on and I was so overwhelmed with emotion I just cried. It was perfect. Personally I feel this was my late Granny (who only passed 5 months ago) telling me just try this last one for me. It is a day I will never forget for as long as I live to have felt her presence there with me that day because my dear I missed her so much that day. Lorren deserves this award simply because of how much of an amazing, outstanding person she is. Not only is she amazing at what she does but she has the biggest heart I have ever come into contact with. PLEASE vote for the one I love dream dresses!

From the moment I met lorren I felt very comfortable, lorren is truly gifted at what she does,she makes you feel so special,anytime I contacted lorren she was so giving of her time and was so detailed in her response, it was always so easy to book appointments.

I had the pleasure of getting a custom made dress made for me by the lovely talented Lorren. After having a bad experience in a previous bridal shop I was at abit of a loss and then I heard about The One I Love Bridal shop in Ballinlough. I contacted Lorren to arrange an appointment to go and see her. From the second I met Lorren I could tell how passionate she was about what she does. Not just passionate but very professional too. She has a gorgeous range of dresses to suit all shapes and sizes in store but after trying on a few I decided to go for a custom made dress. I had fittings every so often and my dream dress came to life that bit more each time. Lorren is extremely attentive and worked the fittings around days and times that suited me. On the day of our wedding I had so many compliments about the lace detail on my dress. I really did feel like a princess and Lorren was to thank for that. I would highly recommend her.

Lorren is absolutely amazing! I wasn't sure what type of dress I wanted at all as we were having a very small wedding and I didn't want a white dress, but still wanted "bridal". I went in to see Lorren and she asked me some questions about my ideas and pulled out several beautiful dresses for me to try on. I loved different aspects of each and Lorren then designed me my own completely unique dress! She carefully brought together the different aspects I loved to create the dress of my dreams. I had a few fittings while the dress was being created and in each booking Lorren made sure I was happy with everything and suggested tweaks here and there to make it even better. Even on the last fitting she asked if I wanted any final little changes but it was perfect.
On the day of the wedding the dress was easy to put on by myself and was comfortable to wear all day.
Nothing was too much effort, she really went above and beyond and I can't recommend The One I Love highly enough! Totally incredible for friendly service, value and quality.

This is a hidden gem in Ballinlough. Lorren was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for her. She gave great advice on sizing and ordering in the dresses on time. She also did the alternations on my hen dress (a fully sequin dress) which were perfect. Despite having a very busy schedule she was very responsive and attentive. Her main aim was to make sure the dresses were comfortable and fitted perfectly. My bridesmaids looked stunning on the day. We would highly recommend The One I Love Dresses!!

I cannot recommend Lorren highly enough. 'The One I Love' is a special find and Lorren is a gem herself! I had 4 bridesmaids, 2 overseas and one living in Dublin so I was worried how I was going to co-ordinate things. Lorren made the whole process stress-free and made sure the girls were comfortable in their dresses and of course that the dresses arrived on time. She also did the alterations which was great. Lorren really went above and way beyond her duty to make sure the dresses were perfect - thank you! She is such a pleasure to work with and is so responsive to any queries. What can I say, Lorren and her team at The One I Love are absolutely amazing at what they do. Lorren designed and made the perfect princess wedding dress for me. Her attention to detail was absolutely amazing. She also supplied me with gorgeous bridal shoes that she designed herself, the perfect shoe for my perfect dress. Not only did she make my dress but she also made my daughters flower girl dress, a mini me of my wedding dress. We were two princesses on their wedding day xx She also made my bridesmaid dress, in hot pink with fabulous embellishment, the perfect fit and looked gorgeous on her. All I can say is a big thank you, you made us all look beautiful, without doubt I would recommend The One I Love xx

I had the most amazing experience with Lauren during the preparation for our wedding. From a mere conversation about what my vision was for our two junior bridesmaids, she created the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen in a wedding party,each dress was made to perfection and each one was slightly different to suit the age and style of the girls. They absolutely stole the show! Nothing was a problem for Lauren,no matter how last minute any idea was,she just pulled everything together and given we all came down with covid 2 weeks before the wedding she pulled out ALL the stops to make us feel amazing on the day and indeed the lead up to it.The One I Love is an fantastic local business,the attention to detail is superb and I have already booked Lauren for my bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding in Toronto this Autumn!

My sister got married in November 2020, and I went to The One I Love (during lockdown, by appointment) for advice about shoes. I don't wear high heels very often and neither does my sister, and we were both concerned about looking good but also feeling comfortable! Lorren recommended some beautiful jewel encrusted black heels for the bridesmaids, with a hidden front platform, and they were very comfortable for the duration of the wedding. My sister settled for a pair of white lace runners for after the photos, and they were a saviour on the day! Lorren also made my sisters incredible custom-made wedding dress using so many layers of lace, but still managing to make the dress look light and flattering. She was stunning and felt so pretty and confident in the dress. The little customised details which were my mam's idea, were able to be added in very easily. My sister wanted a dress that she could move easily in, as she has a toddler and she wanted to be able to dance and run around after her daughter on the day.

I can't recommend Lorren and The One I Love as a shop enough, as a service and as an experience it is the best you can get. I've never been in any other shop that made me feel so special, accommodated our needs, matched our budgets, and exceeded all our expectations. I can't wait for Lorren to make my own wedding dress someday!
