We were so lucky to have Dearbháile as our on the day co ordinator for our NYE wedding in Bellingham castle and oh my god it was the best decision we made for the day. She truly goes above and beyond in every aspect.
Dearbháile arrived during prep, helping with anything and everything, got to know the bridal party and just blended in, while keeping everyone on their toes so we didnt go overtime🤣
The best thing about Dearbháile is how well she worked with all of our vendors some who she was only meeting for the first time.
While we were in the early stages of planning our wedding we were on the fence about a co ordinator- was it necessary etc, but i can truly say I couldnt imagine our day without Dearbháile there making sure everything ran seamlessly, timing everything to a tee, making sure everyone was on time for photographs, always making sure we had a drink in our hands, checking on our kids with the childminders, making sure we took time out for ouselves during the day and even lending me her cardigan during our outdoor photographs!!😂

Working with Dearbhaile was one of the greatest blessings of our entire wedding journey. We were planning our wedding from the United States at Bellingham Castle in July 2025, and because we had a two-year engagement, we were lucky enough to work with her for almost two full years. From the very first conversation, we knew we were in the best hands.
Planning a destination wedding could have easily been stressful, but Dearbhaile made the process feel effortless. She truly thought of everything. She stayed up late after her kids went to bed to take calls with us, always making time despite the time difference. She connected us with an amazing list of vendors, communicated with them on our behalf, and kept us on track with timelines, deposits, and final payments. She made sure we booked everything at the right time, kept us on track, and always had a clear plan.
But what impressed us most were the countless ways she went above and beyond. She accepted shipments at her home so we didn’t have to travel with them. She personally assembled and delivered all welcome bags to the correct locations. She solved shuttle issues without us ever needing to stress. Upon arriving at Bellingham Castle for our two-day wedding celebrations, she there for us, immediately extending a hand to help with whatever we needed. She helped construct picture frames, set up every detail of decor, and even gave our photographer rides to and from Bellingham and the hotel. She was our trusted voice to Bellingham Castle—handling every detail and ensuring our wishes were not just heard but carried out perfectly.
On our wedding day, everything was seamless. A moment we will always remember is when she revealed the reception ballroom to us. After two years of planning, she was just as excited as we were to see it come together. The flowers, the centerpieces, the candles—she had brought our vision to life more beautifully than we ever imagined.
What makes Dearbhaile truly extraordinary is not just her talent and professionalism, but her heart. She never made us feel like just another couple on her calendar. She made us feel seen, cared for, and understood. She was our planner, our advocate, and even our emotional support person when we needed it. We trusted her completely, and that trust was rewarded in every way.
Our wedding day was beyond perfect, and we owe so much of that to Dearbhaile. We are endlessly grateful for her dedication, her kindness, and her genuine care for us. Hiring Dearbhaile was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day. She has truly found her calling and is absolutely invaluable at what she does. I don’t think I would have got through the day (or it wouldn’t have been even slightly as enjoyable for me) if she wasn’t working on taking care of everything behind the scenes. She was always ten steps ahead. Before I could even think of something needing done, it was taken care of. Dearbhaile is the perfect balance of cracking the whip and having the craic. We felt like we’d known her for years. Even our guests were singing her praises! I feel badly for anyone that needs to get married without Dearbhaile in their corner. She is organization, and structure, and comfort, and calm, and levity, and fun - all wrapped up in one. We are so grateful for her and couldn’t recommend her enough! x

Dearbháile is IT!!!! We fully believe that without Dearbháile our day would not have gone nearly as well. Beyond just keeping us and vendors on track, here are a few bits Deabháile HANDLED -
- steamed all of our dresses
- wiped my dress clean of makeup after post ceremony hugs
- wiped our hands clean of BLUE frosting so that too wouldn’t get on my dress
- wrangled donkeys, groomsmen, us
- set boundaries with vendors (ie: held us to our agreed upon picture-taking-time so we could enjoy our day with guests)
And so so much more 🥹
On top of this, we had a few calls prior to the wedding where she helped us to plan the timing of everything so that when the day came, we knew what to expect and when. Prior to the wedding she also messaged all of our vendors to ensure they had her as a main point of contact on the day, and not us 💓
If this isn’t enough to convince you of her greatness - my somewhat stubborn Irish husband even said that, while he didn’t understand what she’d be doing at first, after it was all said and done, the day went perfectly because of her attention to detail, time, and boundary setting.

My husband and I just recently were married at the Markree Castle and we had the pleasure of having Dearbhaile as our coordinator. At first I was undecided if I should hire a coordinator or not and I am so thankful I did because having her throughout the process was a complete game changer and I honestly cannot imagine what it would have been like not having her.
Dearbhaile was an absolute dream to work with and we are so grateful for her during our 2 days at the Markree castle. From the early organizing to throwing together a last minute rehearsal and even curling my hair on the night before she really went above and beyond. She even allowed us to mail our wedding packages to her home as we are from the USA which was so incredibly helpful. On the wedding day itself she was a complete rockstar, from keeping everything on schedule and delivering payments to vendors to steaming all our dresses and tuxes, making sure we got the highlight photos we wanted, and quickly figuring out my dress bustle so we could get in our first dance before the rain, we seriously cannot say thank you enough.
She gave us great advice with us never having been to the venue and the whole planning process and wedding was so stress free and easy because we had her to take care of all the logistics so we could focus on the day which was so special. She was a delight to work with and I felt as if she was not just our coordinator but our best friend and she provided a calming presence and reassurance throughout the day which made us feel at ease. We cannot recommend her enough, and if anyone is considering if they need a coordinator or not, trust me you will be so grateful having Dearbhaile at your wedding! ❤️

We had Dearbhaile for a wedding planning consultation and on the day coordination as well. I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. From the start, she was just so lovely but also really intuitive and able to help us with a vision even when we weren’t so good at articulating it or knowing what we wanted.
Derbhaile listened to what we liked and put together lists of venues & vendor recommendations that perfectly suited our style. She simplified everything from budget planning to comparing what was included in packages such as with photography and videography.
Dearbhaile has worked in the wedding industry in various roles, so she has huge amounts of knowledge and experience. She’s seen so many wedding suppliers firsthand that she can give personal recommendations you can trust which we learned is so so important.
Dearbhaile stayed in touch throughout our wedding journey, always checking in, offering advice & tips, and sharing her incredible knowledge.
On the day itself, Dearbhaile was everywhere and did everything! She took countless jobs off us which freed up our time and that of our family and bridal party so we could focus on enjoying the day. From fetching items, steaming dresses, running to the chemist for emergency eye drops, transporting things from the venue to the church and back again, calming nerves, paying suppliers, and even finding my mother’s lost bag, she handled it all in her stride!
Even things we never would have thought of, Dearbhaile had already pre-empted. She kept the day running smoothly, liaising with every supplier and handling anything that went wrong calmly and discreetly and importantly always being our advocate.
We had a few logistical hiccups, fireworks were due to start at 10:30, but the band weren’t ready for the first dance and the lead singer we booked hadn’t turned up (we went with a different band than the ones Dearbhaile recommended, I wish we had taken her advice on the bands she knew, as they never would have purposely let us down). Dearbhaile stepped in, sorted everything, and got the timeline back on track.
To sum it up, Dearhaile is a like a wedding fairy, advocate, PA and best friend all rolled into one, handling everything in the background so you can just enjoy the day as stress free as possible.

Dearbhaile was my fairy godmother on the lead up to the wedding and on the day of. She was a constant calm and so helpful, going above and beyond for us. Running a tight ship and making sure everything was as it should be on the day. The little things and the big things…. Her guidance the whole day was so appreciated and everyone commented how amazing she was. Nothing was a bother to her. I couldn't recommend Dearbháile enough, when I say she saved me and our wedding, that is no understatement. As someone who has experience in event planning, I admittedly was hesitant to work with a professional planner for fear they wouldn't understand what I was hoping to achieve. I couldn't have been more wrong, Dearbháile alleviated any worries from our first call, she is thorough yet straight talking, professional yet extremely personable and she literally went above and beyond to make our wedding 10 times better than I had imagined it could have been.
Dearbháile got on board with what I was thinking and took it to the next level. There is no way our wedding weekend could have happened without her and I highly recommend getting in touch with her for yours, once you speak to her, you'll know what I mean - a real life wedding planning angel!!!
