Wine & Books by the Sea, Algarve Resort is only at a 40 minutes’ drive from Faro Airport, featuring 260 spacious rooms, a good variety of restaurants and with direct access to Salgados Beach – one of the premium beach areas of Algarve. Close to main urban centers but still a quiet and realaxed oasis.
Le Palmeraie sits on the left side hand of the Hotel property, within a beautiful palm tree garden, offering not only great privacy to our couples and their beloved ones, but also a fully equipped venue next to the beach.
Palmeraie’s star features are the 2 different ceremony locations within the grounds of the Hotel and the outdoor wedding reception.

From the very beginning, nothing was ever too much or too little to ask. Ana, Angela, and the entire events team were simply amazing. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail made planning our big day feel effortless and enjoyable. They truly listened to what we wanted and somehow made it even better than we imagined.
One of the most important things for us was to find a stunning venue by the sea – and Vidamar delivered in every way. The setting was absolutely breathtaking, with the beach and ocean right beside us, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We also opted for the BBQ Buffet, which was a fantastic choice – the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and a real hit with all of our guests.
The venue was stunning, the food was outstanding, and the service was absolutely 5-star from start to finish. Every part of the day ran smoothly, and we felt completely looked after throughout. Many of our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was and how well cared for they felt – which means the world to us.
Ana, Angela, and the entire events team are a real credit to Vidamar. Their dedication, kindness, and genuine passion for what they do made all the difference. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day so special. It truly was the day we had always dreamed of – and more.
