Alternative Wedding Venue in Kerry | Candlelit Church in Killorglin
This isn’t a hotel wedding hidden away on private grounds - your day unfolds in a real Kerry town. A candlelit 19th-century church, a pub across the street, and a celebration that flows from ceremony to dinner to a full-on party.
10 Bridge Street is a unique wedding venue in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, just 20–25 minutes from Killarney. Set inside a beautifully restored Church of Ireland building dating from 1816, we specialise in relaxed, personal and alternative weddings full of atmosphere, great food and character.
We’re best suited to couples looking for something a little different: a non-hotel wedding venue, an intimate celebration, a destination-style Kerry wedding, or a lively party where the formalities don’t take over the fun.
Couples can choose from three flexible styles of celebration:
Classic Wedding – a seated wedding celebration with a beautifully prepared four or five-course meal.
Best of Both – an intimate ceremony and meal with close family, followed by a bigger evening celebration.
Wedding Party – a relaxed, high-energy celebration with generous finger food or buffet-style dining, music and dancing at its heart.
Ceremonies can take place beneath our historic stained glass rose window, followed by drinks in a traditional Irish pub just across the street while we transform the venue for dinner and dancing. Later, the lights dim, the music starts, and the space becomes a proper party venue.
What makes 10 Bridge Street different is the atmosphere and flow. Your ceremony, food, bar, terrace and dancefloor all work together in one character-filled space, so guests stay close, the energy builds naturally, and the day feels personal rather than formulaic.
If you’re looking for a relaxed, non-traditional wedding venue in Kerry with warmth, personality and a bit of magic, we’d love to hear your plans.

Guests were super complimentary of the food and the staff.
If I was to go back and do it all again, I would without a shadow of a doubt go with 10 Bridge Street all over again.
