The level of care & attention we got from Katie and Cliodhna throughout the planning of our wedding was excellent. I felt like I was getting emails on an almost weekly basis from Katie telling me about some other service they were going to provide, unasked for, without the price ever changing. Any potential issues that occurred to us Katie already had thought of and solved behind the scenes. Once we booked the various suppliers Katie took over and made sure everyone's ducks were in a row, everything was taken off our plate. You get a genuine sense from these guys that if they have a choice between maximizing how much they can make out of a wedding or maximizing how enjoyable the couple find the whole process they are totally focused on the latter. It was lovely to be organizing something that was so important to us and feel like the people who were helping us to do it really cared about the result. We had both the ceremony and party at 10 Bridge Street. The venue is lovely for both. The fact that it is a former church is nice for the ceremony as the room has a look and feel that are very apropos. The layout works really well for the afters too as the dancefloor flows into the bar, so people are dancing almost by default. We had the drinks reception in Kingston's while 10BS were changing over from ceremony to dinner set-up. Again, that is all arranged between the two places without any fuss for us. It's brilliant to see local businesses working so well together. The staff in Kingston's are absolutely excellent as well, they also have rooms which the wedding party stayed in and were very happy with. The bar itself is class. When you go in the door it is a proper cosy Irish pub but as you get a bit farther in you see that it opens out with loads of space for guests and a massive terrace out the back as well. We didn't want a wedding with a long sit-down meal, seating plans etc, so to find a place that does a more informal style of meal where everyone is free to move around throughout was great. Even for that style the service was really smooth and attentive, the food was excellent and there was plenty of everything. The bar staff were on the ball and kept up with the demand to their credit. Overall 10/10, would get married here again

Reflecting on our entire wedding experience, from the initial booking to the actual day itself, we are delighted not only in our decision to hold the event at 10 Bridge Street, but also to recommend this fantastic and unique venue to any people looking for a place that will care for you and guide you, but also ensure that your wedding is undeniably ‘yours’. From the day we booked over the phone, to the menu tasting and every bit of correspondence in between, Katie, Cliodhna and the staff at 10 Bridge Street’s open yet solution-driven and focused approach allowed for my partner and I to truly enjoy the planning process. Any query, concern or request, regardless of how minor they may be, would be immediately seen to with a level of care and consummate professionalism that put our minds at ease every time. This allowed for our big day to exceed our expectations, and left us with a feeling that we got to truly experience our wedding without having any stress or worry over any of the proceedings throughout the day. From the beautiful ceremony, to the fabulous reception, the staff’s awareness and duty of care to any of our needs was incredibly hands on, while also executed in such a way that was deft and subtle. Many of our guests spoke to us about the staff and how fantastic they were. Our guests also spoke of the incredible space in which we were so lucky to get married in. Distinctive, classy and finding the perfect blend of traditional and practical, both our ceremony and reception felt relaxed and enjoyable throughout; as if we had meticulously planned every minor detail, though in reality it was Katie and the fine staff, that we genuinely cannot speak highly enough about. Finally, the food. We opted for the party style menu in which we were able to sample so much of the diverse and delicious menu which catered to all the needs and expectations of our guests, even beyond to those with particular tastes or dietary requirements. Although a non-traditional means of serving dinner at a wedding, everyone was given a unique experience, that went at a pace that suited each individual there. We look forward to eating this fantastic food again, when we inevitably make the journey back to Kilorglin to visit, catch up and enjoy another fantastic feast at this special venue. When looking for wedding venues initially, we wanted something a bit more unique. As soon as we saw 10 Bridge Street and met Cliodhna and team, we were really impressed. They went all out during the menu tasting and offered plenty of advice and suggestions from their vast experience, which really helped with our planning. They were so open to tailoring the day to our needs and were very easy to deal with throughout the process. When we called in the day before to go over the final touches with Katie and Greg, we knew we were in safe hands. We had our ceremony and wedding reception at the venue and our guests raved about the food and how smoothly the day was run. Katie even gave a little pep talk to the best man before the speech!
