The Westwood Hotel

The Westwood were extremely helpful from the first time we met them We considered two other hotels but found the Westwood were willing to customise packages to suit our needs. Their attention to detail was amazing and the whole experience was stress free :)

It all began when we attended a wedding fair at the Westwood. The d?cor and event was organised very well. Then we arranged a meeting with Dave Kelly and that's when we were truly sold on the Westwood as our venue. Every part of planning our wedding with the Westwood was hassle free. Any questions we had were answered immediately, with no hesitations and alternatives and advice were offered by Dave/Barry on occasion. Nothing was impossible and we felt confident working with our wedding planners that all aspects would be managed efficiently. We were given options for the menu and assured that there were additional choices available from the other hotel restaurants if the need arose. As we had guests travelling from all over we were delighted to be given a special rate for B&B for our guests plus a certain number of rooms were held for wedding guests. We found the price competitive and excellent value for money. Our guests were very complimentary of the quality and quantity of food served at our wedding (day/evening).

In addition, we met Daniela Guder from The Art of Blooming, Moycullen. Dani is the florist to the Westwood. Having met Dani at the wedding fair we decided to ask her to be our wedding florist as she had some beautiful bouquets at the wedding fair and she knew the hotel and had an excellent working relationship with the staff. It was a pleasure to work with Dani too.

We really had an amazing day and we feel that the Westwood staff exceeded our expectations on our Wedding Day and we would recommend them, without a second thought, to any couple planning their wedding.

Just a quick email to say how delighted we were with The Westwood Hotel. From our first meeting choosing the venue we were looked after in such a professional manner. Nothing was a problem. If there was anything we needed, or any of our suggestions and ideas were all so graciously taken on board. I have to mention the waitresses that were on duty the night of our menu tasting they were excellent at there job. I was so delighted to see them there on the day serving the top table. I apologise for forgetting there names.
The function room looked amazing on the day. All of the staff were so nice. I don't no where to start regarding the food. It was simply impeccable. People are still talking about our food and choice of menu. I?m glad because we were a little anxious about serving half duck as not everyone likes duck. But it went down a treat.
So as a team I would like to thank you all, you really do yourselves proud and your hotel still upholds its wonderful reputation for weddings. I can?t praise it enough to my friends and family. We were in such safe hands.
