Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa

We choose the Ballygarry estate for our wedding reception as we have been there at previous weddings and it was fabulous. Thys our wedding coordinator was exceptional, he is extremely professional at what he does and a great asset to the Ballygarry. The minute we arrived to the reception we were met by Thys and Padraig, they were by our side to assist in anything we needed, even carrying our champagne glasses around the garden while we were taking pictures. The food.. what can I say everyone is still talking about the food, it was amazing, the staff kept coming to tables with more and more you definitely wouldn’t go hungry. The reception room itself was stunningly done up, having our wedding reception here took so much pressure off us as everything was done, table plan, flowers, candles decorations. Breakfast the next morning Thys and Padraig were there greeting and chatting to our guests, It was truly the most amazing day. I would 100% recommend the Ballygarry Hotel absolutely stunning hotel.

Thys, Pádraig, Niall and all the staff in Ballygarry Estate went above and beyond for our wedding. From the very first email enquiring about availability all the way up until we left the day after the wedding nothing was ever too much. I remember asking Thys about the format for the father of the bride speech and he nearly wrote the speech for us! They were all incredible, the food was incredible. I could not recommend them enough! They are just amazing and all so lovely!

Where do I start? Thys and all of the team were extraordinary. From start to finish we knew we were in safe hands and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were completely blown away and would highly recommend the Ballygarry I would do it all in a heart beat!

Ballygarry were fantastic from the planning process right through to the execute of our wedding. The Ballygarry ceremony lodge, pavilion, gardens and wedding dining room all together within walking distance made it a relaxing and enjoyable day not just for us but all our guests had the same feedback. The high quality of customer service/ attention to detail from Padraig, Thys, Niall, Chloe, Elaine, Noel to name over our 3 days was great. The food quality from the Ballygarry chefs was consistently great throughout our stay. Check out there bar food if your in the area for a spin/holiday, great feast. The garden and grounds are beautiful and photographers have loads of areas to take intimate and funny photos. Ours have come out great. The Ceremony lodge was amazing and anyone planning a civil ceremony should check it out and let the Ballygarry team should what is on offer. My wife and I would highly recommend Ballygarry Hotel and Spa to future couples looking to get married or any other events.

Amazing venue, Thys, Niall, Padraig and the staff at Ballygarry House work so hard to ensure you have the best wedding day. The scenery for photographs is fabulous. The meal was exceptional. The staff are continuously observing to ensure your guests are being well cared for. They ensure suppliers are fed. As a bride and groom we had nothing to worry about all day as the staff had thought of everything. There is nothing negative to say about this venue. If you book Ballygarry for your special day, you will not be disappointed.

Could not recommend Ballygarry enough. Thys was our wedding coordinator and no ask was too big or too small. His responsiveness was amazing and he really made us feel like we were in safe hands!! If looking to wedd in Kerry this would be the place to go!

Where do I start with Ballygarry House, absolutely amazing from the minute we walked into the hotel two years ago to our wedding day, we dealt with Tadhg and we thought he was so nice and helpful, his advice was second to none! It was our dream day and we could not have chosen a better hotel,staff, rooms, food, spa, all amazing! We had an absolute ball from start to finish..when I piled on all the decor that we had prepared ourselves Tadhg was so helpful and said not to worry he would sort it all out and he delivered! When I saw the way they had everything laid out I was speechless, we got married outside on the grounds of the hotel and the way they had set everything up was amazing, I didn't worry one bit because I trusted all at ballygarry House and it was a dream! Wish we could do it all over again!...

We had the most amazing wedding in the Ballygarry in June 2019. Everything from start to finish was flawless. The service, food, bedrooms were all excellent. Tadhg was an excellent wedding coordinator and went above and beyond for us. All of the staff there are extremely professional and helpful. Al of our guests were very impressed with food, its quality, the service and attention to detail. As a bride, there are many things that I could have been worried about- but knowing we had this hotel booked I had not one moment of stress. The bedrooms are beautiful. The Spa is gorgeous- as is the jacuzzi. We could not fault one thing about this hotel- they made our wedding day so memorable!

From the day we met with our wedding coordinator (and one of the 4 managers) Thys, there was no question about where we would celebrate the most special day of our lives. There is a package to suit every couple and plenty options to tailor your own dream day. No matter when I emailed with a question or a crazy idea I would get a reply within hours! The advice given was invaluable and I always knew that if any problems arose or if any last minute changes needed sorting that I was in the very best hands! The staff went above and beyond at every stage of the weekend! The attention to detail was second to none-The food, the service, the hotel, the spa.....everything was perfect! I can not recommend Ballygarry Hotel and Spa enough.

Couldn't recommend the ballygarry house hotel enough for a wedding. They have a fablouse reception room for pre drink. The main ballroom was decorated fablouse and their food is outstanding. Their waitstaff members were outstanding at their job and very friendly. Thys their wedding coordinator was so helpful any questions, worries or recommendations we had he answered them without delay. Padraig, thys and all the ballygarry staff made us fell very relaxed and special about our day from the very frist day we meet them.

Absolutely fantastic - amazing hotel

Our wedding day in Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa on January 3rd was the most amazing and memorable day ever. From the day we booked our wedding Thys and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty where no task was too big or two small. We were made to feel like we were the only couple every to get married. Every detail was done to perfection on the day...the meal and service were outstanding our guests are still talking about the dinner. Their experience and expertise is second to none and I could not recommend them more highly if you are looking for that special place to have your Wedding reception. Thank you Thys and your team for truly making our wedding day one of the best days of our lives.

We chose Ballygarry even though we are both from Cork and living in Dublin because the team at Ballygarry are so friendly and professional. We dealt primarily with Thys who is the epitome of calm and is extremely professional. Thys and all of the staff at Ballygarry inspired confidence from the beginning. The quality of the food and service is second to none. We were so relaxed on the day because everything was taken care of in an effortless manner. We especially liked when the bridal party was brought away on their own and served a drink outside whilst all of our guests were taking their seats and ordering, it was a lovely time for us between the drinks reception and the meal. We cannot recommend Ballygarry highly enough, it was a fantastic experience we will always remember.

Being a native Kerry woman, we were always going to get married at Ballygarry House. Their reputation is renowned locally and we just knew if we wanted something that bit extra special Ballygarry was the venue that would deliver. Our first experience with the hotel was walking in off the street to be meet by Padraig. He talked us through the whole wedding experience and was glad to answer any queries we had. He also showed us around and spent so much time with us. This was how our experience with the hotel was to continue. The staff are so welcoming and no request is too big or too small. Any of the guests that stayed at the hotel for the weekend remarked on the staff and how welcome they were made to feel. Our wedding co-ordinator Helen took care of every little detail. Her magical diary was brimming over with details and nothing was overlooked. Not surprisingly our day ran so smoothly and everything was accounted for. Padraig, Thys and the staff were amazing all weekend and just seemed to appear out of nowhere every time we looked around. The food on the day was outstanding with a few of our guests helping themselves to a couple of dinners!! Everyone was so impressed and we have had so many guests remarking on the service for the whole weekend from the bar to the restaurant and the wedding reception to the BBQ. Once booked couples should really take advantage of the hotels bridal recognition day. We found it fantastic as we were able to meet local suppliers and it also convinced us to definitely go ahead with a day after party and a BBQ in the Pavillion. Just try out those burgers they are mouthwatering!! It's not just the day or the weekend that's so special it's the whole experience from start to finish We were made to feel as if we were the only couple to ever get married there. We had such a fantastic day hat continued for the rest of the weekend. We have memories that we will cherish forever and cannot recommend Ballygarry highly enough

James and I would like to thank you so much for making our day one of the best day of our lives. From the beginning when we chose Ballygarry House our minds were at ease knowing that everything would be taken care of. The comments from our guests on the standard of food to the service was fantastic and there is not one thing we would change. We are still getting comments from people who attended!
