Bunratty Castle Hotel & Luxury Spa

We got married in the bunratty castle hotel on the 28th of February, all I can say is if you are considering booking here for your own wedding, do it! the food was amazing, Lee did an excellent job, it was top class restaurant quality and everyone loved it!
Marion the wedding coordinator could not do enough for us to ensure our day went perfectly. The wait and bar staff in the castle suite were all lovely, attentive and professional.
The room looked beautiful, we were not rushed out of the castle suite in any way even though they were due to start renovations on it the very next morning..and the party was left go on for as long as we could handle in the residence bar ????
Danny the general manager looked after us over the whole weekend, and when storm jorge on day 2 looked like it could jeopardise our night 2 celebrations Danny said with out a second breath they would organise something in the hotel if it came to it, this was such a relief considering the large number of people staying for the second night. Megan at reception was also so lovely during our stay and offered her support wherever needed to ensure we got our day 2 celebrations.
At our meal tasting Mary looked after us so well and helped us to pick our wedding menu.
Lastly Sandra sprted our room bookings and ensured everything was perfect from that side of things.
A huge thank you to everyone from bunratty castle hotel who made our dream day a reality, we will be reliving it for years to come ?

Myself and Geraldine just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did for us. You were unbelievably accommodating and we found all the staff in Bunratty so be so helpful and welcoming.

Ye all made our day so special and we are delighted we chose Bunratty as our venue. It definitely was one of the best decisions we made! The food was amazing and so many of our guests commented on the meal but also the reception food and drinks.

We will definitely be returning to stay in the future!

Very best wishes to you and all the team, Richie and Geraldine

Marion, Siobhan and all the team at Bunratty Castle Hotel were fantastic from start to finish. Five star red carpet treatment all the way. Hi Marion,

I don't even know where to start with thanking you for everything you did for us to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. We had a fantastic day. It exceeded all of our expectations.

The food, staff and attention to detail was second to none.

Your help over the final week in particular was amazing. All the last minute changes were no problem. We really appreciate it.

We hope you have a well deserved rest over these few days for Christmas.

Thanks again,
Niamh and Liam

We cant thank Marion and her team at Bunratty enough for helping us make our wedding day so special. Nothing was ever too much to ask and they were always only a phone call away. Our day ran so smoothly and it was everything we could have hoped for. We would highly recommend Bunratty Castle Hotel to future Bride and Grooms. Thanks again to everyone at Bunratty.

We had our wedding day on Wednesday the 4th of December. From start to finish it was amazing. Marion went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with everything and nothing was too much for her!! Even having to source us a supplier for a selfie mirror at 4pm on the day of the wedding when our supplier let us down!! Our wedding day couldn't have been any better and the setting was just magical and all the guests commented on the gorgeous food and the great service. Thanks a million for everything xx

Amazing Wedding Venue
We were married in September 2019 and held our reception in the Bunratty Castle Hotel and couldn't have asked for a better day. Marian and the staff at the hotel put us completely at ease and no ask was too big. Marian went out of her way to help us plan the perfect day and thought of every little detail. Lee, the Chef, prepared a beautiful menu for the meal and was even able to accommodate a surprise last minute dietary requirement for a guest. The Venue is stunning and they made the reception room more beautiful than I could have hoped. The bridal suite was a wonderful place to unwind after a long day and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. It was the perfect day and we are so grateful for all the hard work of the staff in this gorgeous hotel. Thank you so much Bunratty Castle hotel for our wonderful memories!

Hi Marion,

Just a quick note to say thanks a million for all you did for us over the past few months to help make our day very special.

The room looked amazing on Saturday and the cherry blossom tree table plan looked so lovely.

We honestly had the best day.

Thanks again,

Maria and Noel

Marion and Brian were just the most amazing two people to deal with from the first day we met them. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so special!

Hi Marion,

We just wanted to thank you and everyone at Bunratty for an amazing weekend. You are the best wedding coordinator I have ever come across, nothing was too much of an ask! Everyone has praised the food, the hotel rooms and the staff! All the managers and all staff on the day were exceptional. We really had the most amazing day I couldn't imagine having our reception anywhere but Bunratty. I would recommend it to everyone!

Thank you so much,
Grainne & Mark

We had a fabulous wedding in Bunratty Castle Hotel. We had a great time and our guests and wedding party had a great time.

Marion Moore Murray is an amazing wedding coordinator. She was the calming influence on a day where everything that could go wrong went right. She and her staff at Bunratty Castle Hotel rolled with everything that we threw at them. Every little mess up we had was cleared up with confidence and aplomb by Marion, Brian and their staff. We are so appreciative that they gave us the chance to have an amazing day. They were so considerate to our needs and requirements all day. Even one screw up where a child's bed was supposed to be installed into a grand-parents room was smoothed over at 1.30 in the morning. Nothing was too small or too big

I just wanted to say, on a personal note to yourself, that you were absolutly fantastic to deal with. Nothing was an issue & you were a calming presence for me, especially the week of the wedding!

Marion, you are a major asset to Bunratty & an all round fab human!

Thanks so much for everything.

My Wife and I would like to thank everyone at Bunratty Castle Hotel for making our wedding so special. The whole day went perfectly. The staff were flawless and worked so hard to ensure everything ran smoothly. W would like to thank Marion who put us at ease and ensured any requests were no bother, it was a delight to have you as our planner and you are a huge asset to Bunratty Castle Hotel, Elaine was a scream to meet. The room was decked out perfectly and the entire evening ran like clockwork. We cant thank you enough. We would like to thank everyone on the front desk who helped everyone check in and provide an impeccable service. Our family and friends loved the hotel and the service they received, no doubt they will be back, All our love Danny Wadey and Nicole M. Timmons.

When my details had been passed from person to person following Dave leaving and Heather going on maternity I have to admit I was very worried, but I definitely need not have been any bit worried!! I was actually a little disappointed that we only got to meet Marion, the new wedding coordinator, the week of the wedding because we had such a laugh that few days!!!!

The day of the wedding EVERYTHING was flawless...(even if my cousin did knock the tower of glasses!! hahaha) I have been getting compliments and calls every day since the wedding, congratulating me on a brilliant day, but this is largely down to you and the team there at Bunratty Castle Hotel providing such a fantastic day for everyone!

I really cannot thank you enough

I will 100% be recommending you to any newly engaged couples, because there is definitely nowhere in the country that could provide the same level of service and attention to detail that you did!

Thanks again

Myself & my Husband Deaglan cannot thank Bunratty Castle Hotel enough. The Wedding Coordinator, bar staff and banquet staff were all so helpful in every way and made the whole day flow from start to finish. We did not have to worry about a thing.

From the Drinks reception, to the Dinner it was so professional. The Chef even personalized each persons desert plate on the top table with their name!
We have received so many compliments on the dinner and the wine which was recommended by the hotel themselves.

They were always on hand. We had arranged a New Years Eve Midnight Surprise for our guests "The Hit Machine Drummers". The Hotel took care of meeting them and giving them access through to the Banquet hall unseen and this was done without myself or Deaglan having to leave our guests.

The hotel was decorated exactly the way I wanted it from Table centre pieces, pictures, decor to the flower wall. They took care of everything exactly as we requested. WE could fault anything.

Personally the hotel made the whole day so perfect effortless for us that we were both able to enjoy the day take it all in without any issues We cannot thank you enough for helping make our day special.

We will certainly be recommending Bunratty Castle Hotel to everyone.

Extremely helpful and friendly wedding coordinator and the food was amazing!

Bunratty Castle Hotel is a brilliant location and the hotel is lovely. The decor is very nice. The ballroom for the wedding reception is a good shape so that no guess / table feels lost in it. The hotel has lots of table decors etc to chose from and dressed the room beautifully for our wedding. After the meal, there seems to be lack of a Manager available. We had problems with the AC and I had to go to reception 3 times to get it sorted.
Breakfast the next morning was not managed properly, there was no one at the door managing the tables / service. lots of waiting staff standing around.
Overall though the weddding experience was excellent, no major complaints. the food was delicious, the staff very friendly and the room beautifully decorated.

Couldn't recommend Bunratty Castle Hotel enough. The venue is lovely & they couldn't do enough for us. We worked with Heather & nothing was too much trouble.

A pleasure to deal with.

The venue was great on all aspects coming up to the day everything we asked for we received. The only let down was a few small things on the day but nothing that anyone but ourselves noticed

Amazing wedding venue with amazing staff and the best quality food provided.

Our reception and stay at Bunratty Castle Hotel was excellent, all the staff were fantastic and the food was gorgeous. All so accomodating to us, we even had an outdoor drinks reception! Which was extra special!! Everybody remarked how much they enjoyed the Hotel and the service they received.
If any couple are looking for a venue then call to the Hotel and see what they have to offer. We loved every minute of it. We could not recommend David, Heather and all the staff enough.

The wedding team were fantastic. The day went without a hitch and they are total professionals. We had a fabulous day and I would definitely recommend the venue. So many people commented on how beautiful the room was.

The staff (every single member) were brilliant - from management down to waiter/ress on the day were excellent. I would not change a single thing about the day and could not fault anything even if I tried to look for something to fault. They took care of everything and as a result I didn't have to worry about anything.

Food was beautiful, staff were excellent and very helpful. We are not from the county and they recommended the best church, hairstylists etc. We had such a stress free day. It was perfect!

One word.. Amazing.. Was the best day of our lives everything they did for us I could not thank them enough!! The love sweat and tears they put into everything I don't know where to start especially to heather and David just wow love them guys and love bunratty I will never forget it xx

The team at Bunratty castle hotel were a dream to deal with, they were so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. I had my ceremony in the hotel followed by the reception and they took care of all the d?cor and arrangements and even recommend a number of local suppliers to use for photos, music , flowers and the ceremony.

I wanted an alternative to the usual 4 course meal and David Shelly gave me a number of options and on the day the guests were delighted with the variety of food and service received.
Overall they took care of all the arrangements and the setting was perfect.

The staff and hotel is amazing and on the run up to our wedding no matter what we needed or asked for there was always someone at hand to help day or night ...

Bunratty Castle Hotel was the perfect venue! The staff were fantastic!! I was worried that planning a wedding from England was going to be tricky with only 1 trip over before the big day, but I was wrong. The staff made it just perfect. We stayed for a long weekend and many of our guests did the same. Many of our guests commented on how it was such a fantastic venue and how the staff were so much more attentive than the over here in England!! I wouldn't change a thing about our venue! Bunratty made it the best day of our lives!! Xxx

Everything was perfect and they were a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend Bunratty.

to be very fair on this the service was good on the day bar 1 table ,the issue i had with the hotel came from u could be waiting weeks for call back from the manager or who ever u were trying to reach, what really let the hotel down was the day after paying the bill,no manager that we had dealt with was on duty, should have been better i think .

Hi we cant recommend Bunratty Castle Hotel enough it really is the prefect wedding venue

Management and Wedding co-ordinators of Bunratty were excellent to deal with - They were responsive to our emails and calls and met with us whenever we requested. They kept us calm :) The staff on the day were fantastic - friendly and accommodating to all our guests - We really felt @ home in this hotel.
I wold highly recommend the Bunratty Hotel as a Wedding Venue - 5 star service all round!

Would just like to thank ye for everything ye did for us on our special day,and would also like to thank david for all his help, he was an absolute gem...

David, Magurite and Elaine were outstanding throughout the day itself and also during the planning stages. I organised the wedding from London and they made it feel easy to do so. I would recommend the Hotel to friends, every one of the 100 guests at the Wedding commented on the food and the friendless of the staff. One member of reception staff even went out to buy a guest a tooth brush as he had forgotten his! Every detail was perfect on the day and David made us relax during moments of nerves and stress! Thank you so much to all the fantastic staff at Bunratty Castle Hotel.

everything about this hotel was perfect in every way!

we would have no problem whatsoever recommending Bunratty Castle Hotel. everything was perfect the staff and the service were exemplary especially David and Elaine. We enjoyed every minute of our day and look forward to visiting the hotel again

The staff at Bunratty Castle Hotel were amazing in helping us plan our day from the very first day we called out to see the hotel. We had no appointment and just popped in for a quick look ourselves and Lee spent an hour going through everything with us despite being busy with a chess tournament that was on that day. You can tell that David especially really loves his job and it is great to have someone like that involved in looking after your wedding. Bunratty was perfect for us I really don't think we'd have had as good a day anywhere else.

Dear Marguerite, It has been almost a week since our big day and we wanted to express our deep gratitude for the wonderful reception that we had. We really could not have asked for more. We appreciate all that you did for us in the final days leading up to our wedding and your generosity with regard to the final cost. All our guests commented on the wonderful food, service and the beautiful table arrangements. All of your staff were a credit to your hotel but we would particularly like to single out Javier for special mention. He put us at our ease from the very beginning, was extremely attentive to any need that we had and his professionalism, friendliness and courtesy helped in no small way to make our day so special. Many guests commented on his attention to detail and the manner in which he looked after everyone. Again, thank you very much Marguerite for your hard work and for such an unforgettable day. Kind regards,
