Having our reception at the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport was the best decision we could have made for our Wedding day.
Having always considered Westport for our reception, from our first meeting with Vinnie to view the hotel, we were absolutely certain it was where we wanted our wedding.
Each staff member, in particular Vinnie, made the whole planning process so simple and for that we can't praise them highly enough. There was no question that was too small and anything we asked of them, they looked after for us.
The day itself was absolutely fantastic and the way everything ran so smoothly is still beyond belief. From the drinks reception to the quality of the food on the day and everything in between, all the staff went above and beyond for us.
People are still talking about the food in particular which was so important to us. We are so thankful to each staff member in the Castlecourt Hotel, in particular the Weddings team, for making sure we had the most unforgettable wedding day. We cannot recommend the Castlecourt Hotel more to anyone who is considering having their wedding there.

We got married at the Castlecourt Hotel in March, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Vinny and the entire team were an absolute delight to work with. Everything was organised so professionally.

The hotel operates like a well-oiled machine, with plenty of staff on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly. They were incredibly accommodating to our guests’ needs and went above and beyond for us.
Their wedding packages offer excellent value for money, and the quality of service is outstanding (plenty of staff) It’s easy to see why the Castlecourt Hotel has won so many wedding awards.

The Castlecourt was amazing in every single way! Vinny and Liz show professionalism at its best. From contact, to assistance, to giving us everything we asked for- they were unbelievable! The food was outstanding, our guests are still talking about it! Service was 10/10. Food was quick and no one was left waiting for a drink. We used 3 different rooms over the day and each one looked so beautiful. We also had our day 2 in Bar 23 and again, had an amazing day and night. We couldn’t praise The Castlecourt more and we 100% recommend it for an unforgettable wedding day!

I cannot recommend Ann, Joe, Vinny, and all the staff at The Castle Court Hotel if you are thinking of getting married from there professionalism from start to finish is out of this world no question is ever a problem as silly as it might sound they have a solution.

I had my wedding there 5 weeks ago and people is still talking about the great day they had between all the amazing choice and quality of the food and the service.

The castlecourt hotel could not have done more for us. The experience from start to finish was spectacular. There was nothing that was too much trouble for them.
Our guests continue to tell us about how amazing the food and service was at our wedding. I've honestly never seen service like it during the meal, there was no long wait between dishes. So efficient.
The photographer from the castlcourt during the drinks reception and the slide show in the corridor was a lovely added touch.
On check out when these photos were presented in an album to us was a beautiful surprise as well as other keeps sakes of the day.
Special mention for Vinny who provided exceptional support both prior and during the day. It was a joyous experience working with the Castlecourt for our special day.

The Castlecourt Hotel has always held a special place in our hearts, and we’ve kept coming back over the years—but for our wedding, they truly outdid themselves. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond, with thoughtful touches and surprises throughout the day that made us feel so special.

The owners, managers, and staff made it feel like ours was the first wedding they’d ever hosted—everything was so personal, and they genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Their generosity and warmth shone through all day long.

So many of our guests have said it was the best and most well-organised wedding they’ve ever attended, and we completely agree. Everything ran seamlessly, and that’s entirely thanks to the incredible Castlecourt team.

We genuinely can’t put into words how grateful we are. This hotel has always meant a lot to us, but now it’s even more special.

This venue is probably the best venue in all of Mayo to get married in. It certainly is the best value. The team were outstanding and made it all so easy for us. They decorated the venue beautifully, the food was superb over the three days we were there. Our wedding dinner was amazing, we are still getting texts about it. Every aspect of our experience was first class. Their response time is very good and nothing was an issue. They are very professional and the whole team are very experienced at what they do. I cannot rate this venue highly enough.

10/10 experience with the Castlecourt Hotel. We were well looked after the day of our wedding. The staff couldnt have done more for us. The reception was lovely outside with the lovely cocktails. The function room was beautiful and so spacious for all the dancing and moving around tables. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We wouldnt change a thing about our day :)

The Castlecourt is absolutely incredible! They will go above and beyond to ensure your entire wedding experience is exceptional. The Corcorans, Vinny, Rhona, Liz, Jamie and the entire hotel staff are absolutely wonderful and we cannot thank them enough for such an incredible wedding weekend.

We started the planning process from Boston, which was extremely daunting but once we decided on the Castlecourt we knew we were in the best hands. They worked around the time difference, video called with us, and any time we came over for a visit they made time to meet with us to go over details. Vinny, Liz and Rhona are top notch from start to finish. They put us at ease, answered any question or concern we had, and handled every request like the pro's they are. There was never a request that was too big or small for the team, and they ensured the day went off flawlessly. Because of how incredible they are, we were worry free day of, and were able to really enjoy time with our friends and family.

We had a large American group who stayed at the hotel for the weekend, and the Castlecourt was able to accommodate a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception the night before the wedding which was such an added bonus. The staff in the hotel was so friendly and accommodating with our guests which just added to the experience. We have gotten so many compliments from the food, to the accommodations, and of course the staff that we were so pleased with our choice of venue.

You will hear it all over Westport - the Castlecourt knows how to do weddings; and that is so unbelievably true. We would choose them over and over again and we can't wait to come back to stay!

The Castlecourt Hotel was the first hotel we approached in relation to our wedding. We didn't need to visit any other hotels after this visit! We met with Liz on Day 1 and she was exceptional to deal with, so helpful and detailed in what the Castlecourt Hotel had to offer for our big day. Once our date was confirmed with the hotel, we never had any concerns/issues at all. Every time we contacted the hotel we were totally satisfied with the service. Over the course of a few months, along with Liz, we also dealt with Vincent and Rhona. Again, I could only describe the attention to detail from all staff as exceptional. On the day of our wedding everything ran so smoothly. Staff at every area in the hotel were so helpful and could not do enough for us and our guests. The delivery of meals to our guests was so quick and efficient that everyone was dining at the same time, no delay between tables whether you sat at the top table or at the bottom of the room. We can honestly say we had no stress/concerns with the hotel throughout the whole build up to the wedding, we can never thank VIncent, Liz and Rhona enough for all they did for us to contribute to the best day of our lives. An extremely well run hotel, would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed with the Castlecourt Hotel!

The Castlecourt Hotel is the best place in Mayo to have a wedding. Right in Westport, its the perfect place to invite your guests- especially if they are coming from the US or other countries and have never been to Ireland. Vinnie and all the staff at the hotel are the best in the business. The service is impeccable and they take care of every detail. We planned our wedding from NY and communication was absolutely seamless. We arrived at the hotel a few days before our wedding and as soon as we got there we knew we had made the right decision. Everything leading up and the day of was flawlessly executed- right down to the custom menus on each table with a picture of us taken only a few hours earlier! The next day we were presented was a memory box complete with photos of our guests printed into a photo album and on a flash drive. We used the bridal suite for getting ready and it was stunning, complete with breakfast and champagne brought up. The food at the reception was to die for!! Absolutely delicious!!!!

Vinnie was incredible at making sure that we were completely at ease throughout the entire day. We couldn't recommend the Castlecourt more!!!! If you want to have a relaxing and fun day with your friends and family this is the place to have your wedding.

We had the most amazing experience with the castlecourt. The team were so attentive, any questions we had were answer so quickly and efficiently. We had a good few guests with dietary requirements and everybody was catered to. The menu options were amazing and the food was 10/10. Honestly I could not fault the castlecourt on any part of the day, and all the little touches that I wasn't aware of until the day it was so special.

Vinny,Linda & Liz were so helpful from day 1 ,they couldn't do enough for us. Their guidance and help made planning for a wedding so much easier. The wedding day was perfect from start to finish - the drinks reception, the food, the service and the staff.

From day 1 of looking at venues, the Castlecourt were by far ahead of every venue we looked at. They went above and beyond for our wedding. No was not a word in their vocabulary. Vincent Nugent and Liz Conway are exceptional at what they do, as is The Castlecourt in what they provide. Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. From the food, drinks reception, all the little extras that they provided, accommodation, it was all outstanding.

Vinny & his Wedding Team couldn't do enough for us. We were initially due to get married in October 2020 but due to Covid had to postpone. Vinny was so helpful, reassuring & went above and beyond to alleviate our concerns. The whole day ran seamlessly, service was top notch, menu options were second-to-none - everyone was treated so well.

Well we knew we were in safe hands booking the Castlecourt but they really did go above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff we dealt with were fantastic, from Vinny to the girls arranging accommodation-and babysitting! The food, service, decor and even the next day for the barbecue was all amazing. It's also the little things like the photo album up to the room the day after that was a lovely touch

Couldn't recommended the Castlecourt Hotel highly enough. We were looked after so well from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble, even down to a special order of Sherry trifle for the father of the bride. Vinny and Linda were always available for us on the run up to the day and ensured that the day itself went smoothly. The food and service was exceptional.
