At Hotel Doolin the focus is on friendliness, fun and most importantly, food! Hotel Doolin is an intimate and quirky boutique wedding venue. Our Wedding and Events Barn bridges the tradition of a utilitarian building, enclosing a courtyard and the modern needs of a low energy contemporary wedding venue. We can accommodate up to 300 guests in our Eco Barn and host one wedding only per weekend so that you, along with your wedding party, family and friends can enjoy the hotel exclusively for the entire weekend which makes for a more intimate and enjoyable experience. We guarantee you will have great fun with our team here at Hotel Doolin.
One of our main focuses here at Hotel Doolin is food- growing it, selecting it, preparing it, cooking it and of course serving it. We are committed to delivering original and inventive food, using as many local, home-grown, homemade & organic foods as possible on our menus.
We hope you like the packages we have put together, we believe that planning your wedding should be fun-filled and stress free, with this in mind we have kept it really simple. You pick your package, then your menu, items are not priced individually, if you are getting married at Hotel Doolin you get exactly what you want. There are no pesky supplements, sneaky service charges, Ryanair style extras, bar extensions or surprises; we look after everything

When we first got engaged, my dream was to get wedding photos on the Cliffs of Moher. As such, there were only two venues we looked at. We loved the laid back and slightly quirky vibe of Doolin so we booked the Don't Fret package for April 2026. It was also incredible value on paper, but we really had no idea just how much value we’d get out of it.
Throughout the planning process the team were incredibly responsive and no question was too small or unimportant. Our wedding tasting was such a lovely evening and Tracey made us feel so welcome and excited for our big day.
We all stayed at the hotel the night before. The fuel protest meant I was 90 mins later to the venue than planned. However, the operations manager Paul, had everything I’d asked for already set up and when I started panicking that I didn't have time to do XYZ task for the next day he simply gave a big smile and said "Don't worry, we can do it!" and took care of everything. The Don't Fret package definitely lived up to its name, even from the night before.
I find it difficult to articulate exactly how good the staff of Hotel Doolin were on our big day. Suffice to say, they are probably one of the most experienced wedding teams in the country. There was just an ongoing sense of seamless ease for myself and my husband. Everything ran smoothly, there was quite literally nothing for us to worry about. They checked in with us periodically throughout the day, made sure we had food and drink during the reception and made sure we had a lovely 30-40 mins together, just the two of us, before the meal.
Everything else was executed flawlessly. As part of our package the decor, table plan, reception music and cake were included. They were all exactly what we’d wanted and surpassed our wildest expectations. Our guests repeatedly said how well-looked after they were, how delicious the food was, how they had so much to eat at the reception, how nothing was too much trouble and how gorgeous the venue was. Tracey and her team also made a special effort with several of our guests who'd previously gotten married at the venue which was such a gorgeous touch.
Our Day 2 was also included in the package and Mark made sure we wanted for nothing. The food was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere was happy and relaxed.
I think for me the most special thing about Doolin is their staff. Despite how many weddings they do (I think we were their second out of three that week) we weren't treated as just another couple using their facilities to host a wedding. Everyone I spoke to was warm, interested and genuinely happy and eager to help. Paul, Tracey, Mark and Aileen went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time on both days. Their genuine hospitality was the cherry on top of the best two days and I am truly so grateful we chose Hotel Doolin as our venue. I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. If I could give it 100 out of 5 stars I would.
I could not recommend Hotel Doolin more highly for a wedding. If it is available just book it, you won’t regret it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience at Hotel Doolin. From start to finish, everything was seamless and so well organised. Our wedding coordinator, Niamh, was absolutely fantastic — professional, friendly, and always one step ahead, which made the whole process completely stress-free.
The food and drink were exceptional, with no shortage at any stage, our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. One of the highlights for us was having the run of the hotel over the two days; it created such a relaxed, intimate atmosphere and really felt like the hotel was ours.
We’re so grateful to the entire team at Hotel Doolin for helping us create unforgettable memories. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough as a wedding venue.

We had high expectations for Hotel Doolin as we knew people who were wedding guests at the hotel in the previous years and they were very complimentary about their experience. I can honestly say that all of our expectations were exceeded during our wedding weekend. All the staff were incredible to us and there really wasn't any stress at all! My one extremely minor negative point regards the accommodation. Because all hotel rooms are included in the package for 2 nights if you have day 2 there, we had to move some guests from the houses/suites into the hotel rooms on the second night. It seems that our guests weren't informed of this during check in by the hotel staff despite an accomodation list being provided earlier in the week. This led to some confusion.

I cannot say enough about our whole experience with Hotel Doolin! From our very first viewing to the moment we checked out after our wedding, everything was flawless.
Once we booked our date and paid our deposit, the team took nearly all the stress off our shoulders with their “Don’t Fret” package — and they meant it! All the logistics were handled beautifully, leaving us free to focus on the fun stuff like colours, music, and outfits.
Our menu tasting was next-level — we were treated like royalty. Niamh sat with us afterwards and walked us through every detail of how the days would unfold (Wedding and day 2 BBQ). We’d prepared a list of questions, but she had already thought of everything. The food was so good, it was hard to choose, and we left that evening absolutely stuffed and absolutely certain we were in the best hands.
And then there’s the team. I’m convinced “being sound” is an official job requirement at Hotel Doolin. Every single member of staff we or our guests met was kind, patient, and a joy to deal with. Tracy, in particular, was incredible on the day — I swear she had magical powers because she’d appear right when I needed her, whether it was with a reassuring word or a cold bottle of prosecco when I slipped away to catch my breath. If anything went wrong, we never knew about it. Everything was seamless.
Now, the food deserves its own standing ovation. It was divine — beautifully presented, plentiful, and when I say plentiful, it was constantly flowing! The seafood boat and grazing table were works of art (and Instagram sensations, judging by the flood of photos). The cheese wheel cake was fabulous also and way less wasteful than a traditional cake. And breakfast? People are still talking about it weeks later — the variety was unreal.
When we missed breakfast on check-out day, the reception team whisked us over to Stonewall Café, found us a table (even though it was packed), and treated us to pizza — on the house! It was such a thoughtful touch that summed up the whole experience: above and beyond in every way.
The Don’t Fret package truly lived up to its name. Ríona, our decorator was an absolute star — full of energy, ideas, and genuine care. She got our vision straight away and somehow managed to exceed it. The décor was vibrant, creative, and full of personality. The flowers were stunning, the music spot on, and the DJ had the dance floor bouncing all night. And our photographer, Olga (Mrs Redhead), was an absolute legend — funny, relaxed, and exactly the presence you want around you on your wedding morning.
From the start, we wanted a wedding that felt relaxed, fun, and a bit quirky. Hotel Doolin delivered all that and more, with an extra dose of quality and heart. An important factor for us was that the hotel is fully carbon neutral and by booking our wedding there we got to contribute with the planting of 10 trees!
I’ve been telling everyone who’ll listen — if you’re planning your wedding, get married at Hotel Doolin! And if you’re lucky enough to be invited to a wedding there — go! It’s an experience you’ll never forget.

We can't thank the team at Hotel Doolin enough for making our wedding day everything we ever wanted. From our very first call with our wedding coordinator Paul, we knew that this was the venue for us. The team are easy going and a pleasure to deal with, making sure that every detail is taken care of with a white glove service. Our guests had a wonderful time, the food was exceptional and the rural location is simply stunning. We can not recommend Hotel Doolin highly enough - we just wish we could do it all over again!!

From start to finish, our wedding at Hotel Doolin was absolutely incredible! We cannot thank you and the entire team enough for their dedication, attention to detail, and unwavering support in making our day so special. The organisation and facilitation of everything was seamless, from room allocations (with many changes) thank you Leanne! to our meal tasting and not being able to choose between the steak or chicken (and getting BOTH.!! thank you Niamh and PJ), to the decorating of the room (thank you Riona) to Paul, Niamh D and Tracey making us and all of our guest feel like the most important people in the world. This was especially evident to us when Paul jumped behind the bar when he noticed the bar staff under pressure due to the demand our cocktail crazy guests were putting on them.!! And also when Niamh D answered her phone (when her shift had ended) when bar manager Mark couldn't locate my Bouquet when I wanted to do the Bouquet toss, I was not phased when Mark informed me he couldn't find it as I was sure Niamh had left it somewhere safe but Mark was determined to find the bouquet, which he did after phoning Niamh. These moments, along with countless others truly made us feel so special. We truly felt like every little detail was taken care of, allowing us to fully enjoy our celebration with our loved ones.
Our guests are STILL talking about the food and drinks! I don't think I have ever heard some much positive talk about the food at a drink reception...so much so that myself and Paul are extremely envious we didn't get any as we were away taking our photos. The meal was exquisite — the quality and flavour exceeded all expectations, and the drinks/cocktails were perfection. The bar service was outstanding. Our friends and family were raving about it all night (and beyond!). The service throughout the day was impeccable — friendly, attentive, and professional. Everyone was made to feel welcome, and it made such a difference to the overall atmosphere of the day.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate the most important day of our lives. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a flawless wedding experience! We genuinely had the best weekend of our lives, and we couldn't be happier that we chose Hotel Doolin to celebrate our Wedding. I didn't appreciate when picking a venue how much of the weekend would rely on the hotel staff coordinating the day and I can't express how every single staff member ensured that our weekend was perfect, everything was seamless and made us feel like the most important special couple on the weekend. To help give you as much feedback as possible I have structured the below into different parts of the weekend and day :)
Friday
On arrival, the reception was great when handing any pieces for the weekend (such as candles for the ceremony and photos etc) & it was great having the run through with Tracey. It really helped settle the nerves and know that all was in hand for the set up. We had also booked into Stonewall for Dinner with the wedding party, this was a great way to kick off the weekend with a smaller group before heading up to McGanns. You accommodated this group booking on short notice and it was greatly appreciated! The food and service was lovely. Reception was also so accommodating allowing us to enter the bridal room when we needed and getting set up the night before was great.
Saturday
Tracey was brilliant throughout the Saturday morning checking in on myself and the bridesmaids when getting ready, giving us updates on timing etc. She also did a great job of rounding up everyone from the pub into the barn for the wedding ceremony, getting that lot out of the pub couldn't have been an easy task!! And I know that reception were brilliant too with different bits being dropped in across the morning at different times. After myself & Jonathan got back from getting our photos with Olga Sandra had saved me an Aperol Spritz after she spotted my excitement of them being set-up before the ceremony! Tracey also made sure that we had canapes that suited our allergies. The trad band was brilliant and Jonathan's nieces were delighted to get to do some Irish dancing for us, the lads were brilliant with them. All of the food served on the day was absolutely incredible - all of our guests remarked upon the food and were all very impressed with the quality and freshness. The ice cream cart went down an absolute treat too with both adults and kids, and the midnight supper too - nobody went hungry, the amount of food was brilliant. Throughout the meal Tracey checked in on us both, and all our parents to make sure we had drinks, food and everything we needed. Guests also commented on how brilliant all of the serving staff were and how much craic they had with them too. We had a great time with the band, music and DJ - rounding off a brilliant evening in Fitz' at the end.
Sunday
The BBQ on Sunday was a massive treat. It only dawned on us during the day we didn't even think to ask what would be served in the BBQ! But once again everything was delicious and in great supply, everyone was delighted to have such a brilliant feed and then the evening food that came out later too. The timings of the day really worked out well, we had music starting at 6:30pm which gave everyone time to digest and get ready to get back on their feet! We had put some money behind the bar and Tracey kept us in the loop with how much was spent and how much was left on the tab. The barn set-up is brilliant for the day two, and we enjoyed spending the evening in the bar. I don't know how you organised Rory McIlroy finally winning the masters but that added to the atmosphere fun and excitement too! Larry also tried to get the TV in Fitz' set-up with a Chromecast to watch the last stretch of it, he went above and beyond! The music in Fitz' was also great craic and had everyone back up again, it felt like a never-ending party :)
We can't speak more highly of everything across the weekend - we had the time of our lives, everything went so well. The food really is a stand-out and a lot of people said that it's the best meal they've had at a wedding in a long time, the seafood bar and cheese stand went down a treat. The set-up and layout is a brilliant space for people, everyone could move seamlessly from the barn, to the courtyard, the reception area. We had a few young kids at the wedding and their parents were able to relax more knowing that the whole space was enclosed, which was great.
The package itself is amazing, and really takes a lot of the stress out of the wedding planning - between everything that was included, Ríona's decor, the cake, we really got to enjoy the day and the build-up without having to worry about anything going wrong. The attention to detail is incredible and we were constantly impressed by this. You are the wedding experts, and we were very happy to go with the flow with any suggestions or ideas. Everyone was so flexible and could adapt everything to our needs on request, but it really is a brilliant streamlined system you have throughout the few days! There wasn't a decision we made that we regretted in hindsight and we wouldn't change any of it, we were so happy with how it all came together.
Another big factor in shaping the weekend is all the staff - it makes a huge difference, everyone we talked to across the whole build-up were fun, friendly and genuinely cared about making sure we had as much of a good time as we possibly could. That rubbed off on the guests too and added to their experience, everyone was so genuine, lovely and kind, leaving a very personal touch every step of the way. Jessica was working breakfasts both mornings and gave us a big hug as we were getting ready to check-out, Harsh and Rebecca on reception were so kind and checked in on us anytime we passed by in case we might need anything. Sandra really helped us get set-up on the day and throughout the reception, she also made sure my mum had her alcohol free prosecco both days and was comfortable. Mark and Larry working on the bar were brilliant fun too and went out of their way to help us at any point they could. Leanne, Sarah and Alma were very patient and helpful as we put together our rooming lists too!
Tracey was amazing over the few days, from meeting her again on Friday up until she finished on Sunday she made herself available to us throughout and we knew everything would go to plan in her hands. She went to a huge effort to make sure we were okay and everything was going well over the whole weekend. She also kept checking in with our parents too, who really appreciated how attentive she was. No detail was too fine, anything we asked or requested was carried out with a smile. We had planned to serve a birthday cake for one of Jonathan's nephews, and as we went to collect the cake Tracey already had it on a plate with a happy birthday icing thanks to the team in the kitchen and candles ready to go. We really appreciate how much she did for us over the few days.
And also a massive thank you to you! For all of your help and patience from day one! At no point in the lead-up to the wedding did we get overly stressed or worried or nervous and a large part is down to how you were able to put us at ease throughout. Any idea we had or note we mentioned were all taken on board and present on the day, even little elements we had forgotten about you had taken care of! Genuinely thank you so much for putting together a weekend we will never forget :)
We are already excited to visit again! Jonathan is a groomsman for a wedding in August but we will hopefully be back down to celebrate and relive the weekend well before then :)

On arrival, the reception was great when handing any pieces for the weekend (such as candles for the ceremony and photos etc) & it was great having the run through with Tracey. It really helped settle the nerves and know that all was in hand for the set up. We had also booked into Stonewall for Dinner with the wedding party, this was a great way to kick off the weekend with a smaller group before heading up to McGanns. You accommodated this group booking on short notice and it was greatly appreciated! The food and service was lovely. Reception was also so accommodating allowing us to enter the bridal room when we needed and getting set up the night before was great.
Saturday
Tracey was brilliant throughout the Saturday morning checking in on myself and the bridesmaids when getting ready, giving us updates on timing etc. She also did a great job of rounding up everyone from the pub into the barn for the wedding ceremony, getting that lot out of the pub couldn't have been an easy task!! And I know that reception were brilliant too with different bits being dropped in across the morning at different times. After myself & Jonathan got back from getting our photos with Olga Sandra had saved me an Aperol Spritz after she spotted my excitement of them being set-up before the ceremony! Tracey also made sure that we had canapes that suited our allergies. The trad band was brilliant and Jonathan's nieces were delighted to get to do some Irish dancing for us, the lads were brilliant with them. All of the food served on the day was absolutely incredible - all of our guests remarked upon the food and were all very impressed with the quality and freshness. The ice cream cart went down an absolute treat too with both adults and kids, and the midnight supper too - nobody went hungry, the amount of food was brilliant. Throughout the meal Tracey checked in on us both, and all our parents to make sure we had drinks, food and everything we needed. Guests also commented on how brilliant all of the serving staff were and how much craic they had with them too. We had a great time with the band, music and DJ - rounding off a brilliant evening in Fitz' at the end.
Sunday
The BBQ on Sunday was a massive treat. It only dawned on us during the day we didn't even think to ask what would be served in the BBQ! But once again everything was delicious and in great supply, everyone was delighted to have such a brilliant feed and then the evening food that came out later too. The timings of the day really worked out well, we had music starting at 6:30pm which gave everyone time to digest and get ready to get back on their feet! We had put some money behind the bar and Tracey kept us in the loop with how much was spent and how much was left on the tab. The barn set-up is brilliant for the day two, and we enjoyed spending the evening in the bar. I don't know how you organised Rory McIlroy finally winning the masters but that added to the atmosphere fun and excitement too! Larry also tried to get the TV in Fitz' set-up with a Chromecast to watch the last stretch of it, he went above and beyond! The music in Fitz' was also great craic and had everyone back up again, it felt like a never-ending party :)
We can't speak more highly of everything across the weekend - we had the time of our lives, everything went so well. The food really is a stand-out and a lot of people said that it's the best meal they've had at a wedding in a long time, the seafood bar and cheese stand went down a treat. The set-up and layout is a brilliant space for people, everyone could move seamlessly from the barn, to the courtyard, the reception area. We had a few young kids at the wedding and their parents were able to relax more knowing that the whole space was enclosed, which was great.
The package itself is amazing, and really takes a lot of the stress out of the wedding planning - between everything that was included, Ríona's decor, the cake, we really got to enjoy the day and the build-up without having to worry about anything going wrong. The attention to detail is incredible and we were constantly impressed by this. You are the wedding experts, and we were very happy to go with the flow with any suggestions or ideas. Everyone was so flexible and could adapt everything to our needs on request, but it really is a brilliant streamlined system you have throughout the few days! There wasn't a decision we made that we regretted in hindsight and we wouldn't change any of it, we were so happy with how it all came together.
Another big factor in shaping the weekend is all the staff - it makes a huge difference, everyone we talked to across the whole build-up were fun, friendly and genuinely cared about making sure we had as much of a good time as we possibly could. That rubbed off on the guests too and added to their experience, everyone was so genuine, lovely and kind, leaving a very personal touch every step of the way. Jessica was working breakfasts both mornings and gave us a big hug as we were getting ready to check-out, Harsh and Rebecca on reception were so kind and checked in on us anytime we passed by in case we might need anything. We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Hotel Doolin. Everyone we dealt with over the weekend was absolutely amazing – they went above and beyond for us, and we were so grateful for the care and attention we received. It really made the whole experience so special.
Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the food – it was a real highlight for everyone! And thankfully, the weather played its part too, which made the weekend even more perfect.
We really didn't have any issues with anything from the weekend. We had the most incredible time and couldn’t be happier with how everything else went. We’re already hoping to get back to Doolin again during the summer.

My husband and I couldn't recommend Hotel Doolin more. From the moment of our first visit we felt looked after and not 'just another wedding'. Niamh, Paul and the whole team were amazing from start to finish - not to mention that the package offered made the planning process so much easier! Our friends and family are still raving about the weekend from the venue, to the food, to the staff and everything in between. It really was the best weekend of our lives and if we were to do it all over again we would choose Hotel Doolin again, without a doubt.

We had the most amazing day for our wedding in Hotel Doolin! We never stressed once from the moment we booked with them. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly, so relaxed and easy going. They always were prompt to reply to any queries we had and generous with their help and advice. The day itself was exactly what we wanted, relaxed and happy. All of the staff on the day were excellent and so friendly! The package we went for included so much including drinks, music and our wedding cake. The food and cake were fabulous. All of our guests loved it, with anyone we spoke to saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If you are after a stress free wedding planning experience and a place with a chilled out relaxed vibe then this is the place for you. We had the best day of our lives!!

Hotel Doolin was such a fantastic wedding venue. Nothing was too much of an ask for them. We rearranged our date with them from 2020 to 2021 with ease and they allowed us flexibility each time and we never felt under pressure to make a decision on going ahead or not which was so lovely at such a stressful time. We were planning our wedding from the UK and at times it was tricky to know what to do during the pandemic.
Leading up to the day and on the day communication was always clear, the team was always so accommodating and were willing to put up with any request thrown at them, even putting up custom ribbon bunting for us in the barn and ensuring that my vegan and abstaining mum was well fed and watered at all times throughout the two days. We would 100% recommend the venue and we had the most wonderful couple of days in the hotel!

We had our dream wedding last year at Hotel Doolin. Paul and the whole team created a really fun, relaxed family atmosphere and from the moment we arrived, along with our wedding party we were made feel part of the family.
The locally sourced food and music were out of this world and it was like we were at our own little festival.

From the moment we booked our wedding with Hotel Doolin, they were just amazing. No request was too big or too small. They have the most fantastic team. All our guests were blown away by the food and the beauty of the courtyard and barn. The whole hotel has a chilled out but professional vibe. Doolin itself is a magical place for photographs. Hotel Doolin was just a fantastic location for our wedding, It was all we wished it to be and more! They were incredibly accommodating from start to finish.
The venue beautiful, the special touches of Louise from Grace events (who also helped with making the church beautiful) to the efficiency of the staff and organisers. Just simply wonderfully made memories!
And the food!!..... it was an absolute hit with us and all the guests!

Hotel Doolin is the dream venue. With an all inclusive package the value for money is incredible. We live in Canada so choosing a venue that were easy to deal with and who were easily contactable was important. We couldn't have asked for more from Hotel Doolin and Paul the wedding coordinator in the Hotel. From our initial contact to the wedding everything was so easy. The quality of the service provided from the food to the decorations to the music was perfect and more than we could have hoped for. I did not hear one complaint from any of our guests and quite a few said they would go back to stay for a weekend away. All of the staff at the venue were fantastic and so helpful. It was just a lovely relaxed day and that was all thanks to the hard work and brilliance of the staff at Hotel Doolin.

Arranging a wedding from abroad can be very difficult and stressful - from the get co Donal and co were a dream to deal with. No matter what the request was it was met with respect and a "well do everything we can to meet your expectations" attitude. The weekend itself was perfect - we wouldn't change a single thing. The food was fantastic and the service just as good.

We were married on the steps of O'Brien's Observatory overlooking the Cliffs of Moher. The Hotel Doolin served as our base of operations for the entire wedding party, the reception, and dinner. The accomodations were lovely and the staff was wonderful. It was a short walk to McGann's Pub for drinks and music. We also enjoyed the walk into town and all the way to the rocky, but beautiful beach. Everything was meticulously arranged by our wedding Kate Deegan. We look forward to an anniversary visit with our growing family of 5!

We got married at Hotel Doolin last Thursday and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely incredible.
A special thank you to Niamh and Tracy, who went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made everything so easy and stress-free for us.
The staff were amazing, the food was incredible, the service was second to none, and the wine was always flowing! 😂 Every little detail was thought of, and we felt so looked after from start to finish.
We made the most amazing memories at Hotel Doolin that we’ll treasure forever. We genuinely couldn’t recommend it highly enough and, if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We would choose Hotel Doolin in a heartbeat. 🤍
