Inishowen Gateway Hotel

We had our wedding in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel and honestly we couldn't have been happier with the day we had. There was minimal fuss in the planning of the wedding and Sinead made us feel at ease from the very beginning. The welcome reception went down very well with our guests and the hotel provided ample prosecco for the guests. The meal was called for punctually and service was very efficient. The quality of the food was excellent and there were second helpings offered to everyone. Many guest commented on the quality of the service and the food. The function room was incredibly beautiful and the hotel offer a lot of different options for decor. The staff at the bar were brilliant and there weren't long waits for drinks at the bar. The residents bar was a great place to relax after the day and stayed open until the wee hours for our guests. Many guests travelled from out of town so stayed in the hotel. The hotel was able to accommodate all the guests at very reasonable prices. All the guests who stayed were very impressed by the rooms, service and quality of food thought the hotel. Guests who stayed with kids were bowled over by the facilities available for kids and said that the kids area was second to none. Overall, we had a thoroughly excellent day and we couldn't have expected more from our wedding. Thanks to Sinead and everyone at the Inishowen Gateway for making our day so special. Patricia and Lee

We had our wedding in the Inishowen Gateway on the 6th July 2012. The wedding was everything that we could have wished for. It was our first consultation with Sinead that made us feel this was the venue for us. She immediately put us at ease and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was competitively priced and great value for money. We opted to include a drinks package which proved to be a popular choice with our guests. Sinead and Siobhan did an amazing job decorating the room and the little touches and attention to detail were fantastic. The service on the day itself was superb. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff were extremely attentive. The food was excellent and nothing could be faulted. Our whole experience with dealing with the hotel was wonderful and we would highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

We got married at the Inishowen Gateway hotel on the 30 December 2011, I have to say Sinead and her staff were more than helpful in helping us plan our day. As we had a small wedding they were more than happy for us to have the smaller function room. As one of my guest was coeliac she was catered for with no problem and she enjoyed her meal as all the guest did. The children at the wedding enjoyed their time also as they got to play in Planet active. We both enjoyed our wedding day at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel.
