"We got married in the nuremore last Saturday the 21st August and I cannot praise and thank the staff enough. Everyone from the wait staff, bar managers, room service, facilities and reception were polite, friendly, professional and thoroughly accommodating. A special thanks to Helen our wedding coordinator who was brilliant from start to finish! My husband has a hearing disability and the facilities needed to be adjusted to accommodate him which was all done in a professional way with minimum fuss and stress. The venue was gorgeous both the wedding reception area and dining room. The grounds are very pretty and the bedooms and lobby itself are old worldly with wonderful character and incredibly clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our wedding food immensely from the canapés right through to main meal. We had dinner the next night for immediate family and breakfast each morning. All meals were tasty with good portions and fresh local ingredients. All in all I would throughly recommend the nuremore as a wedding venue or for a getaway. We will be back soon! Thank you again!"

We had our wedding here on 24/8/19 and we are over the moon with how it went. The staff, particularly Anne in the events team are a credit to the hotel. We, as well as all our guests were looked after exceptionally well. I cannot speak highly enough of the service! The staff are professional and courteous but have a real homely and familiar charm that make you feel at ease straight away and that for me was the winner. You’re just made to feel at home straight away.
The food was also amazing. Every one of our guests commented on how good their dinner was, which is exactly what any bride wants to hear!
Their facilities are beautiful. The banquet rooms themselves are stunning and very different to anything else available at the moment. And with perfectly manicured grounds and gardens you don’t need to go too far from your guests to get amazing pictures.
We honestly can not recommend the Nuremore for how they have looked after us over the course of the wedding and would advise anyone looking for a venue to make sure this is top of their list.

Our wedding reception was held in the Nuremore Hotel the Friday of the August bank holiday weekend. We had a very big wedding with over 300 guests and the staff of The Nuremore were excellent. They coped amazingly with the large crowd. The room was beautiful, and the service and food were exceptional. We decided to go with the duck for starter and a huge number of guests commented on how good it was. We had a number of guests who were vegetarians and other guests who had special dietary requirements, and everyone was more than happy with the standard of their food.
Prior to the wedding we dealt with Ann and Louisa on occasion and they were both present on the day of the wedding. They were very easy to deal with and always very accommodating. It was Lorraine however that we dealt with mostly coming up to the wedding and we were extremely happy with her professionalism and attention to detail. Lorraine was actually on holiday the week before our wedding, but she still stayed in touch with us via e mail all week. Even though there were a number of last-minute changes regarding guests attending and the seating plan, nothing was a problem and Louisa, Ann and Lorraine were extremely accommodating.
The weather was great on the day of the wedding and the hotel put extra tables and chairs out in the gardens so that more guests could sit out in the sun. This created a lovely relaxed atmosphere which really added to the occasion.
We were delighted with how everything went on the day. We couldn’t have asked for more from the hotel and their staff, especially Louisa, Ann and Lorraine and also Chloe who looked after us all at the top table. The Nuremore is a fantastic hotel and we are delighted that we held our wedding reception there.

The Nuremore staff and venue were amazing for our wedding, they went above and beyond what others venues do and made our day extra special. Our wedding was supposed to be outside but when the rain didn’t play ball they turned one of the conference rooms into an amazing venue for the ceremony in 24 hours, The food was amazing and our guests were looked after brilliantly

We had our wedding in the Nuremore Hotel in May 2019 and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue, it was a Fairytale setting.
I want to thank Lorraine for all her help on the lead up to the wedding.
She was so accommodating and advised us on certain aspects of the day.
Louisa and Anne were so attentive and helpful on the day to ourselves and the guests, all 3 women went above and beyond on their service.
The Hotel was amazing for our day and we were thrilled with the food as our guests had nothing but great reports about it so hats of to the chef, the staff were also very professional and made us feel very welcome.
The gardens were ideal as it was so convenient that we didn't have to stop enroute from the church for our photos as we wanted to avail of the well kept, polished gardens that were there.
If I could do it all again I would and I would definitely have the Nuremore Hotel and will continue to praise them as it is the best setting for a wedding around.

We could not have wished for a better venue for our wedding reception. The Nuremore Hotel is a beautiful location and in such a romantic setting, our guests were very impressed and fell in love with the beautiful rooms, huge windows and breathtaking scenes. Our food was absolutely perfect, and the service made the meal, our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed their food! Everything ran so smoothly and the staff were extremely professional, a special thank you to Chloe who looked after us all at the top table and couldnt have helped us enough. Staff were so thoughtful and kind, even with small touches such as helping find lost phones and bringing me a warm drink during the hurricane conditions that decided to show up when we were having our photos taken! Thank you so much for all your help Lorraine you have been amazing, for all your support and advice from decorations and organising, to guest lists and bands, we appreciated it so much, and you made all the difference to our day. We booked our wedding in the Nuremore 2 and a half years before the date, and during that time period the people we dealt with were fantastic.
We dealt with Lorraine in the months leading up to the wedding, and she couldn't have done enough for us. She made us feel very relaxed the week of the wedding, we knew once we dropped all of our bits and pieces up to the hotel on the Wednesday before wedding, they would be laid out correctly.
The meal itself was beautiful, we went for the duck as a starter and people are still talking about it! The grounds were fantastic on the day, our guests were able to sit on the patio before the meal and enjoy the gardens.
The Nuremore was very good value for money, we felt we got not only a lovely meal and beautiful grounds but a 5 star service from all the staff we met on the day and in the planning.

I found the staff extremely helpful from the planning to the actual day itself, Louisa was my main contact and she was brilliant, professional and extremely understanding! On the day a guest had an incident with red wine and her outfit was taken, dry cleaned and returned extremely quickly - great day, great service, great hotel. We were lucky to have a fabulous day which mean't our guests took great use of the gardens throughout the day and evening!

We had our wedding in the Nuremore on the 4th May 2013 an I recommend it highly. Kevin An Maud put in 100% time an effort to make it the fabulous day we had dreamt of. The attention to detail was second to none an everyone commented on the high standard of food wine an service, the gardens are spectacular for photographs an for guests to have a stroll before an after dinner. As dark dropped down staff had the patio area lit with candle light for that extra special touch. I certainly give the rooms 10 out of 10 for decor comfort an cleanliness! Breakfast was fabulous with lots to choose from. We stayed two nights an the fantastic service continued right to the end! Kevin made us feel like royalty on the day. for parents gifts we bought hotel vouchers an our parents can not wait to get back to the Nuremore to soak up the nice relaxed atmosphere. From the moment we booked the Nuremore Eileen Kevin an Maud took control an the reception was certainly one less thing we had to worry about.

Just a review to encourage any prospective brides and grooms that this is a fantastic venue, both for exceptional quality and professional manner that you will be treated with from word go. The venue is stunning set in lush green leafy surrounds perfect for those wedding photos. Maud and Kevin cold not have done enough for us to make the day so perfect. They left no stone unturned in making sure all our requests were carried out to the finest of detail, and carried out those requests. If you want fantastic food, with a large private and spacious ball room, exceptional service and great value. Look no further than the nuremore hotel and country club.

The detail in everything just went so beyond our expectations. We were completely blown away by the ballroom when we saw it.The atmosphere in the room was exactly what I had always wanted and I couldnt believe how beautiful it was in reality.Honestly It couldnt have been more perfect. All of our guests, and especially those experiencing an Irish wedding for the first time thought it was amazing!!

Stayed here and celebrated my sister's wedding in August. Could not have asked for more attentive service, and a general feeling of being well looked after from start to finish, especially by Geraldine who looked after my sister so well. The perfect venue. We had our wedding reception in the Nuremore hotel and I can't praise them enough. Neither my husband or I live in the area so we had a large amount of people travelling to Carrickmacross and the Nuremore looked after every single guest and treated everyone so well. For example, the day after the wedding, they rang each of the rooms of guests with children to tell them they were running a kids club. It meant all the parents could relax for a few hours on Sunday and they played DVDs for them in the evening. This plus other touches went above and beyond our expectations and every need was catered for.
The day of the wedding went so smoothly as well and both myself and my husband believe this is because of the hotel. We enjoyed every moment because the staff looked after everything for us. For us, there were some key factors in choosing this hotel - the gardens in front the reception area as so beautiful and it gave us the opportunity to take beautiful photos but never really leave our guests. In addition, the food and service were excellent (and not just at the top table) and the reception / bar beside the main reception area provided a space for guests to relax or take a break from dancing if they needed it. Also, the reception area is private so you don't have other hotel guests wandering through your drinks / welcome reception and the patio area has a beautiful view which the reception doors open out onto.
