We operate a one wedding per day policy to ensure it's all about you and your guests on your special day. We offer a fantastic range of Wedding packages or we can tailor a package to suit your needs.
We can cater for any type of Wedding Reception or Civil Ceremony up to 170 Wedding guests in our Eilis Ballroom.
Your personal Wedding Planner will be on hand any time to assist you with every element of planning your wedding day. Whilst our Head Chef and team will ensure your guests receive only the best Wedding Banquet.
Our location is ideal to choose from a selection of picturesque locations in Meath, Louth or Dublin to have your Wedding Photographs taken or our secluded landscaped gardens offer a beautiful backdrop to a wonderful day.

We go to The Glenside regularly for their Sunday carvery as their food is amazing! So when we decided to finally get married, The Glenside was the only venue we even considered. The hotel has this warm, homely feeling to it. We initially met with Karen and she went through all the different packages they have-they have something to suit everyone. We met with Aogán in the lead up to the wedding and he answered any questions we had. Rhea and Karen looked after us on our wedding day and to say they went over and beyond is an understatement. These 2 are exceptional at what they do! You can't please everyone and you always have a worry that a guest will not be happy but every single one of our 100+ guests were delighted with the food and service. We had a few guests with severe allergies and they were looked after so well. Everyone is still talking about how lovely all the staff were and still raving about the food! The ceremony room was out the this world-they had it looking amazing. The garden area is beautiful and perfect for photos! Everything under the one roof-ideal! I was 8 months pregnant getting married and people asked me was I not stressed organising a wedding but honestly, Karen, Rhea and Aogán done the organising! We literally just had to turn up and they done their magic. Peter the night porter-an absolute gentleman! We'll be forever grateful to The Glenside for giving us the day of our dreams and we can't wait to share future family moments here 🩷 I cannot recommend The Glenside highly enough - it is an absolute gem of a hotel and their outstanding team of beautiful staff will give you and all your guests a day to treasure forever 🩷

Aogan and Karen and the whole team in the Glenside were amazing to deal with from the time of booking the wedding right up until we checked out.

I don't think I'll ever be able to thank the Glenside Hotel enough for helping to create the best day of our lives! Everything about the day was absolutely perfect, all the finishing details, the incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and always going the extra mile for us. I had so many people remark to me that they never seen a bride so relaxed and that's all down to the Glenside, they truly made it that we could completely enjoy our day and not have to worry about a single thing. I've had none stop messages from friends and family, both old and young, saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to and no other could top it! The rooms were immaculate, and the food was delicious. We had the indoor ceremony and the fairy light backdrop and layout made it feel so special and intimate, and the greenery on the grounds of the hotel made for the most beautiful photos. The whole day was truly magical and I would highly recommend the Glenside to my family, friends and any upcoming brides or grooms to be!

Karen Aogan, Christine and all the team at the Glenside Hotel we can't thank these guys enough for all there time with us. they went above and beyond. attention to details was perfection. No task was too small or big for them to assist with. From the night before upon my arrival with my bridal party we were treated like royalty.

Karen and Aogán were amazing from the beginning of our planning to the day after our wedding!
We really appreciated their efforts to honour every aspect of our package and their responsiveness to our emails, calls and visits in the lead up to our big day.

We cannot even begin to thank you enough for our perfect wedding day, you guys and the whole team were just absolutely amazing.
We haven't stopped getting compliments on the food, our guests were so impressed and so full! We were being pulled in all directions and didn't get as much of the canapes and evening food as we would have liked, but what we did taste was incredible. We did however enjoy every mouthful of the main meal; Every course was absolutely delicious. Thanks so much for putting so much effort into our menu, it all went down a real treat.
And thank you for looking after every little detail; The whole place looked amazing, and was exactly what we wanted. Please thank all of the servers and team who helped with putting everything together, they were all so friendly and so efficient the whole night.
And another thank you to the team for gathering all of our stuff back up together for us to bring home the next day, that was so helpful and everything was looked after with so much care.

We celebrated our wedding at Henry's Glenside last December.
The ceremony room is beautiful, the staff were amazing,especially Karen and the food was so delicious.
The whole day was wonderful, everything was set up as was requested and everyone had a fantastic time.

Myself and my husband Andy got married there last week from start to finish no task was too big or small. Aogan and Karen were so helpful with everything and the personal touches to our room was a 100%. Their staff are a credit to them they spoke to us all on a personal level the food was amazing served by the best a special mention to Shirley who looked after my son who is autistic I had explained the situation and she made sure he was well looked after. Our great bar staff maya katie and Jennifer who looked after us all night we really got to know them on personal level too they were just so nice. Our band Clockwize and dj ended our night as we bopped the night away the floor wasn't emptied once.
I would highly recommend the Glenside hotel for a wedding and stay they are the best at what they do

hi myself and my new husband shared our big day in the glenside it was wonderful from the word go from management to staff and of course our wonderful guests it couldnt have ran more smoothly from the wonderfull menu and a hearty meal they couldnt have done more for us karen and Aogan were great from start to finish with the wedding arrangements and ensuring that a family orientated venue was had by all,along with all the great suppliers and the staff on hand it was like an adventure that was unfolding as it happened. I would highly recommend the glenside hotel to anybody looking to get married in the near future, thanks for the memories glenside family Barry & Amanda.

From when we got engaged we both knew it was going to be at the Glenside that we would get married and celebrate with our friends & family, it was never in doubt. From when we made the first appointment to start the ball rolling we were so impressed with the attention to detail, relaxed atmosphere with both the hotel owners and their staff, nothing was ever too much and honestly felt nothing was a problem for them. Karen our wedding co-ordinator was amazing, always on hand to help, always very responsive. The staff were incredible, nothing was to much trouble. They went above and beyond. The food was fantastic. We had our wedding in The Glenside on 15th August 2022 and we were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience and it was just on our door step. We had a small intimate wedding and although the suite could cater for a much larger wedding the attention to detail and table set up made the room perfect for our guest numbers, without us looking lost in the room.
Karen, Aog?n and their amazing staff couldn't do enough for us. From the time we met with Aog?n to the day after our wedding nothing was a hassle and everything went as perfect as it could. The staff on the day were nothing but helpful and friendly and nothing any of guests asked was to much trouble. We genuinely couldnt praise them enough, they really went above and beyond for us, to setting up a beautiful memorial table for my brother's picture, to doing up a sweet table for our smaller guests and other tiny personal touches.

Aogan and Karen were so easy to deal with and there was no fuss when we needed to rearrange on several occasions due to covid. The team at the hotel were absolutely amazing, especially Shirley and I'm sorry I can't remember the other girls name she was the duty manager. Went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. We had our wedding at the Glenside hotel on the 2 July 2022. I can not fault the Glenside in anything they were amazing. We had family and friends who stayed at the hotel from Scotland for the weekend and everyone said how the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. My mother in law never got her suitcase at Dublin airport and Christine at reception spent 2 hours on the phone trying to help her. The food was beautiful and loads commented this. They have wedding functions down to a T. Everyone from the owners to the person helping us Jennifer on our day was so helpful. The staff kept us on track all day . I really would book here again if I needed to. Everyone from management to waiting staff were amazing and friendly.

Friday 27th May 2022 My wedding day and what better hotel to celebrate with family and friends other than the Glenside. Every single person at the wedding said the food and staff where just out of this world so nice happy and bubbly. Myself and my husband can't thanks Karen And Aogan enough for all the planning they did to help make our day as special as it was we also can't thank the rest of the staff enough they were unbelievable. The rooms and hotel has been done up and it is just fabulous. Anyone thinking of having a wedding or getting married would be mad not to pick this hotel or even just for a nights stay or even bite to eat highly highly recommended

From our first meeting with Karen and Aog?n until the moment we left Saturday afternoon we were treated to an experience that can only be described at 5-Star ???? The ceramony was beautifully arranged to a high standard. Our 5 course meal was fantastic and served effortlessly by the hotel's brilliant staff, with a special thanks to Shirley who was one of the very special ladies who helped make our day beyond perfect. The rooms were clean comfortable and classy. It also has a very picturesque garden which is perfect for children to play and adult's to relax. It was without doubt a 5-Star experience would highly recommend for your wedding day, just as you want it ??

We had your Wedding on Saturday 30/04/2022 in Glenside and what can I say about the hotel and the staff is only Excellent the hotel it self is lovely the rooms very clean and freshly decorated, the food is top class , never get the treatment like we did there was nothing they could not do for us To make the day any better other than the Weather it rained ! And we did the ceremony indoors but it was decorated so good my now wife was so happy .

Where do I start??
we had our most magical day in the glenside Hotel on the 22/2/22. From the very beginning when we had to postpone our date twice Karen Aogan and team were just wonderful and so professional to work with. We went for the all inclusive package and everything was covered. our photographer, the cake to the coverings in the room it all felt like a fairytale. we had our most magical day in the glenside Hotel on the 22/2/22. From the very beginning when we had to postpone our date twice Karen Aogan and team were just wonderful and so professional to work with. We went for the all inclusive package and everything was covered. our photographer, the cake to the coverings in the room it all felt like a fairytale. We got married and celebrated our wedding in the Glenside hotel. We couldn't recommend them enough they were absolutely brilliant not just on the day but from our very first meeting. Clair the wedding coordinator is such a lovely lady in between our meets if there was any changes with restrictions due to covid she was straight on the phone to us to reassure us that everything was ok and to update us. We had our photos taking on the grounds of the hotel the gardens are beautiful and the food was absolutely fabulous. They went above and beyond to make our day so special they really went the extra mile. I would suggest to anyone that is considering getting married or celebrating there to definitely go for it you won't be disappointed. Clair and the team at the Glenside are absolutely amazing at what they do.

Our Wedding From The Ceremony, To The Meal And Main Evening Party Was Just As I Imagined Excellent Care & Service Given By All The Staff,Managers And Wedding Planner. And A Wedding Can Be Done To Fit Your Budget. I Would Highly recommend. Food Was Gorgeous Too.

Marie and the staff at the Glenside were outstanding both in the run up to our wedding and on the day. Marie is flexible and really takes an interest in every aspect of what we wanted from our day.
The food was amazing and everything ran smoothly through out the day.

We had our wedding reception here in September and all I can say is that it was amazing. Marie the wedding planner was outstanding and done everything we asked her to. The food was absolutely out of this world and the staff were also so welcoming and professional and friendly. The Glenside made our wedding day magical and we are so thankful for that. I would recommend this hotel to any future couples getting married, you will not be disappointed and you will be looked after very well.

Staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our wedding preparations and day especially Marie, our wedding coordinator. Marie will do her upmost to ensure your vision becomes a reality. The food was delicious and all our guests dietary needs were catered for at no extra expense. If you need help sourcing any outside entertainment, decor etc, Marie will assist. I'd have no hesitation recommending the Glenside hotel

We celebrated our wedding with our 150 guests and the whole day was exceptional from the moment of our arrival. Many guests commenting on a fabulous day ! From enjoying the sun in the gardens, the excellent food and service and dancing the night away to 'Clockwise' band and DJ. Marie, Glensides wedding planner, is a real treasure, planned everything down to the last detail and nothing was too much trouble. Marie was there on the day and stayed till the end ensuring all went smoothly. All staff were so helpful and fun. So thabkful we choose the Glenside for our wedding and would 100% recommend it for any occasion.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Glenside hotel in Drogheda. The staff are so helpful and accommodating to all needs. The wedding coordinator is beyond lovely everything went so smoothly, they have packages to suit every wedding and budget. The food was so delicious everyone was raving about it. They have gardens for pictures .

Rhea is an absolute legend. She knows everything about planning a wedding and there was nothing she wouldn’t do. Hearing “Oh, you don’t have to worry about that, I’ll sort it” was music to my ears! She coordinated all our vendors and stood by us throughout the planning process. After our final meeting, which lasted an hour and a half , no detail was left unspoken. The weight was lifted, and I slept peacefully the night before knowing everything was in the hands of true professionals.
On the day, Rhea kept us comfortable and in the right place at the right time. Karen’s calm presence ensured everyone was catered for and happy. Christine and the rest of the staff looked after our guests so well. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the whole hotel has a warm, homely feeling that brought everyone together.
Our guests had a wonderful time, they felt welcomed and relaxed, and the food was outstanding. Everyone was catered for, and had a great time! The Mary Suite which is a really a very cool honeymoon suite, made us wish we could have stayed longer.
We can’t recommend the Glenside Hotel and its staff enough. If you want a family-run venue that truly cares about the people they cater for, with great food,
a beautiful wedding space, lovely accommodation, and a team that will celebrate with you, this is the place!
Thank you Karen, Aogán, Rhea, Christine, and all the staff for making our day so special. We really loved every minute.
