We just got married in the grand hotel and it was an absolute dream! Megan, Zoe and Hilary went out of their way to do absolutely everything they could to make sure everything ran smoothly! They took care of everything for us. The decor was incredible, the food was delicious and everything was amazing.

Flawless wedding. Staffing levels and service was perfect. Wedding manager and hotel Assistant manager there throughout. No unforeseen difficulties. They were flawless on the day/night.

Grand Hotel were wonderful in every way. We were so pleased with the venue, the service, the food, the flowers. Helping with the table plan. Nothing was too much trouble to the team. All of our guests were also very complimentary about the hotel.

We had our wedding in The Grand hotel in October 2023! And the hotel staff were amazing throughout the whole process! Nothing was ever too much! The food was amazing, we still get compliments on it. The rooms were lovely, and so clean, and the room views were stunning.I can't thank the staff enough! Especially Karine and her team, Karine was so attentive from the get go and made the day run so smoothly and put us both at ease! The Grand Hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts! We are delighted that we choose The Grand, Malahide as our wedding venue. They were great throughout the whole process and we felt looked after each step of the way.
Karine Kavanagh, the event manager was just brilliant. From meeting us on day 1 to talk us through what the Grand have to offer when it comes to hosting weddings we knew there could be only one venue for us. Managing the big elements of the day and ensuring the day itself ran swimmingly was also in large part due to Karine’s great organisational skills.
The whole staff were exceptional, we do feel the need to mention specifically Hilary and Sharon who looked after the admin side of the wedding and were always just a phone call or an email away and were extremely helpful.
Lastly, there was Jack who was catering manager on the day and really helped to make us feel at home as well as making us feel like VIPs on our special day.
We would definitely recommend the Grand for your wedding if you are looking for a lovely setting, friendly staff and an all-round fun family vibe for your wedding.

We got married in The Grand at the end of July'22 and had the best day. The communication and support from Karine, Hilary and Sharon from the very beginning was amazing. We just wanted to say a huge massive thank you to you all and your amazing team on the day of the wedding. It was perfect!
The moment I saw Karine's smiley face when we stepped out of the car, I knew it was going to be.
We would have no problem recommending The Grand Hotel to family and friends for any future events. I am still hearing from guests how much they loved the food and the vibe of the whole day was just brilliant and fun so thank you for helping us create such a special day.

We got married here in July ‘22 and have just returned from honeymoon. Due to covid delays we had been speaking with Sharon & Karine at The Grand for just about 2 years, and throughout that time, right up until we checked out after the wedding itself, everything was absolutely fantastic from them. We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough for a wedding, especially the quality of the great food, friendly staff and the accessible location/views. We went with the All Aboard package, meaning many of the core suppliers were sourced by The Grand, and all were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, everything run perfectly on time on the day, and everyone had nothing but praise for the hotel & staff. The seaview rooms on sunny summer days are a must too. Highly, highly, recommended

Guests felt welcomed and really well looked after, which made the whole celebration even more enjoyable.
The atmosphere was elegant and warm, and every detail felt carefully considered and personal to us. The drinks reception at the newly renovated Marksman cocktail bar was a touch of class. Many of our guests commented on how great the food and drink was throughout the day.
Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations and we had a truly unforgettable wedding day.
