Me and Dawn were so happy with everything; the venue made our day, and we had such a great time. All are families and friends commented on how pleasant the staff were and how helpfully they were. We had our wedding at The Hyde Hotel in Galway, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we began planning to the big day itself, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

The décor at The Hyde is absolutely stunning — it’s modern, chic, and full of character. Our ceremony and reception were held in the JEKYLL room, which gave us an intimate, cozy setting while still feeling elegant. Being right in the heart of Galway also meant our guests could explore the city, which added to the overall experience.

The staff were incredible throughout the entire process. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. From helping us with the setup to making sure the day ran on time, they were always one step ahead. We especially want to thank Zara and her team for their patience and attention to detail.

The food was a huge hit with our guests — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments about the meal, and the drinks selection at the bar was great too (the cocktails were a real highlight!).

We stayed in the bridal suite, and it was gorgeous — spacious, comfortable, and ideal for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Our guests were also very happy with their rooms and the central location made everything so convenient.

The Hyde Hotel gave us a wedding day that felt uniquely “us” — stylish, laid-back, and full of love. If you’re looking for a venue in Galway that offers something a bit different with exceptional service, we highly recommend checking them out. We’ll be forever grateful for the memories we made there.

My husband and I had our wedding dinner at Hyde which included a drinks reception. We, along with all of our guests, were very impressed with the quality of food and also the venue itself. Zara helped to make our day so easy - she was very responsive and helpful leading up to the day, so on the day, all we had to worry about was having fun with our guests! The wedding package also included a stay in Hyde's beautiful bridal suite, which was so spacious and relaxing! The staff were all excellent and our every need was catered to. We would really recommend the Hyde for anyone looking for an intimate, stress-free wedding venue.
