Me and Dawn were so happy with everything; the venue made our day, and we had such a great time. All are families and friends commented on how pleasant the staff were and how helpfully they were. We had our wedding at The Hyde Hotel in Galway, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we began planning to the big day itself, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

The décor at The Hyde is absolutely stunning — it’s modern, chic, and full of character. Our ceremony and reception were held in the JEKYLL room, which gave us an intimate, cozy setting while still feeling elegant. Being right in the heart of Galway also meant our guests could explore the city, which added to the overall experience.

The staff were incredible throughout the entire process. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. From helping us with the setup to making sure the day ran on time, they were always one step ahead. We especially want to thank Zara and her team for their patience and attention to detail.

The food was a huge hit with our guests — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments about the meal, and the drinks selection at the bar was great too (the cocktails were a real highlight!).

We stayed in the bridal suite, and it was gorgeous — spacious, comfortable, and ideal for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Our guests were also very happy with their rooms and the central location made everything so convenient.

The Hyde Hotel gave us a wedding day that felt uniquely “us” — stylish, laid-back, and full of love. If you’re looking for a venue in Galway that offers something a bit different with exceptional service, we highly recommend checking them out. We’ll be forever grateful for the memories we made there.

We had an absolute blast and our guests were thrilled with the day.

Firstly, the staff and service were so incredible - everyone, in particular, Phillip & Roisín really looked after us on the day.

The food was amazing. All of our guests were absolutely raving about every single thing they ate; from the canapés, right through dinner, all the way to the evening snacks.

The planning process with Zara was fun and easy - from the very first meeting with her, we knew that our wedding day was in safe hands and that she would help bring our perfect day to life.

My husband and I had our wedding dinner at Hyde which included a drinks reception. We, along with all of our guests, were very impressed with the quality of food and also the venue itself. Zara helped to make our day so easy - she was very responsive and helpful leading up to the day, so on the day, all we had to worry about was having fun with our guests! The wedding package also included a stay in Hyde's beautiful bridal suite, which was so spacious and relaxing! The staff were all excellent and our every need was catered to. We would really recommend the Hyde for anyone looking for an intimate, stress-free wedding venue.

My fiancé and I were amazed by the Wedding dinner we organized at Hyde. Before our big day, we visited the restaurant to choose our menu and were supported with all the details, our choices were listened to and helped to make what we had planned even better.
On the big day, I was thrilled and fulfilled with the entire team's organization, care, and attention. With the marvellous decoration of the venue and the welcome from the staff, my guests were at ease and attended to promptly. The food and wine were simply perfect, and all our guests were stunned, quoting 'The quality of food and drink is rarely as high as it is today'.
I highly recommend Hyde; they made my day more than perfect. Thank you to the team and managers who helped make my dream come true.

We chose the Hyde hotel for our wedding venue and from start to finish everything was perfect. Their wedding coordinator was always on hand to answer any of our questions and to keep us on track for meal tastings, decorations, guest lists etc. On the day the room was set up beautifully and decorated exactly as we wanted it. The hotel accommodated every request we had and made sure we were well looked after. The food was amazing, the audio in the room was brilliant for the speeches and the band and we honestly couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The staff even brought out slippers for the guests who didn't bring flat shoes. We would recommend The Hyde to anyone who is thinking of getting married.
