Amy is an extremely experienced performer based in Donegal. From the Bord Gais Energy Theatre Dublin to the London Palladium, she has performed solo sets in major venues across Ireland and the UK to large audiences. She Graduated in 2022 with a First Class Honours Music Degree receiving overall musician of the year scholarship.
While singing, she allows you the option of two instruments for your wedding as she plays Guitar, Piano and Live Percussion. She is available for bookings across Ireland and can travel.
Amy is available for both Ceremony and Drinks Reception music, with experience in a wide variety of genres.
- Ceremony Music
Amy provides specially curated wedding music for each individual couple's Ceremony. She provides music with a mix of solo vocal + guitar + percussion and solo vocal + piano.
Amy provides music for both Church and Civil Ceremonies and is flexible to cater to whatever you may require for your day.
You may choose from her song list, or feel free to enquire about special requests that you may have that are not on her list.
- Drinks Reception Music
Amy also provides wedding Drinks Reception music for your guests' arrival. This lasts for around 2 hours until your guests are called in for their meal.
She provides a wide range of genres to suit all of your guests tastes and is sure to keep everyone entertained. From piano ballads to lively upbeat songs including live percussion, Amy can do it all.
Amy also will work with the couple to choose an upbeat entrance song as they enter their reception venue.
Amy is dedicated to helping each couple create specially curated wedding music choices to match the couples individual visions. If you would like some guidance, she encourages having discussions with the couples to offer her ideas and advice as to what might best suit your taste.

I met amy at a wedding fair, and fell in love with her voice! Amy was absolutely fantastic, so accommodating. I choose songs that meant something to us that I wasnt sure if amy wpuld be able to sing but she done absolutely fantastic, learnt and performed these songs beautifully. I honestly can, not recommend amy enough.

Amy sang for our wedding ceremony and reception. From our first contact she was an absolute dream to work with. Amy provided us with a full list of song options including sound cloud exmaples of her singing. When I asked to hear how one 'mash-up' would sound, she recorded it and sent it on. Everyone was taken aback by her talent on the day. With on-and-off rain, Amy moved and adjusted to different settings with ease. Thank you so much Amy.

We got married in April and Amy sang at the church and our reception. Amy is such an incredible singer! She really got the vibe. She could perfectly go from the church setting to upbeat at the reception. Amy was also so easy to deal with. Could not recommend her more!

Amy sang at our wedding in the Red Door in April. She sang during the ceremony and during our drinks reception.
She truly is amazing at what she does.
From start to finish, she was amazing. She gave us a list of songs and provides us with her SoundCloud so we could hear some of the songs.
Not only this when asked could she do a song that wasn't on her list, it was no problem at all. She learned it for us and it was just amazing.
The music brought tears to my eyes. It was absolutely perfect.
During the drinks reception, Amy blended in, allowing all the chatter and was not overpowering. She sang the most beautiful songs and we cannot thank her enough.
All of our guests commented on her beautiful voice.

We first heard Amy sing at a wedding fayre and booked her off the back of that. We immediately knew we'd made the right choice both with how Amy responded to our queries and kept us right from the start and also how our other suppliers reacted when they heard we'd booked Amy. Both the hotel and the celebrant had worked with Amy before and assured us we were in safe hands.
Amy responded to all of our emails quickly, even when she was out of the country. She sent through a comprehensive list of songs to choose from as well as letting us know she'd have a go at learning any song we wanted. We asked her to play 2 songs that were special to us that weren't on her list and she kept us updated as she tried them out and agreed she could do them no bother.
On the day itself the singing was absolutely beautiful. It made the ceremony perfect and was one of the first things all of the guests commented on.
Amy was friendly and polite and a pleasure to chat to both leading up to the wedding and on the day. She was also very reasonably priced.
For any couples thinking of booking Amy I wouldn't hesitate!

I seen Amy at the An Grianan hotel wedding fare and listened to her voice and decided on her immediately there and then. I had a particular song I wanted to go up the aisle to that was a mix of two songs and was very particular about how I wanted sang and Amy literally sang it to perfection. I couldn't have been happier with Amy, her voice is absolutely incredible and she is such a lovely person! We also had her at our reception and guests commented on her beautiful voice. I highly recommend her!

"We couldn't have picked a better singer for our wedding than Amy. She is a beautiful singer with such a good range and we got so many compliments on how amazing she was during the cermony and drinks recepetion. She was so easy to contact in the run up to the wedding and played every song we asked for, she even practiced ones she had never played before for us. She also helped out on the day so much by directing guests to the right place and even stayed behind a little to play for us during our private couples drinks recepetion before the meal. Amy was an absolute pleasure to deal with from our initial inquiry to the day of our wedding. She was very helpful with suggestions of songs and open to learning new ones, if requested. She was professional and responsive to any queries we had along the way. After listening to her music online, our expectations were high, but she still completely blew us away on our wedding day.

She was absolutely incredible, not just because her performance is amazing but because she learned every song requested and was so easy to work with. I came across Amy while searching for wedding ceremony singers in Donegal and the second I heard her voice I knew I wanted her to sing at our wedding! Her voice is stunningly soulful and understated and her performance made our ceremony feel so special and personal. Her musicianship is equally as impressive and she worked hard to deliver what I had envisaged, even learning a beautiful version of a piece of music chosen for the processional and recessional. She teamed up with Sinead Black whose gorgeous voice and tin whistle beautifully complimented her style and added a lovely celtic touch! We booked Amy for our wedding at Dunmore Gardens on the 7th of June 2025. From the onset Amy was extremely easy to deal with. We had Amy Meehan sing for our ceremony and reception and she was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Amy and she learnt songs that we had chosen. Amy also gave suggestions when she knew the vibe we were going for and we were struggling with song choices. Communication was brilliant. Our guests complimented on how brilliant Amy was too. We were first introduced to Amy's music at my brother's wedding and since then we knew we wanted to have her provide music on our wedding day. Amy sang at our wedding mass as well as at our reception and she was well versed on both religious and non-religous songs. She added so much to the atmosphere of the day and many of our guests commented on how fantastic of a singer and musician she is. All emails were responded to quickly and nothing was too much trouble when we wanted to change around some songs at the last minute. We came across Amy Meehan at the Silver Tassie Wedding Fayre. She was pleasent to deal with. We booker Amy a few months later and I gave her songs that I liked and she sent voice recordings and I kept imaging what it would have been like on the day. It was everything I thought it would be. We had a very intimate wedding with only us and two witnesses. However small this wedding was, it was as special and magical as one with 300 guests! Amy came highly recommended by An Grianan hotel and she did not disappoint! We booked Amy to sing during the ceremony and then afterwards for our dinner for 4! The ceremony music we requested was very varied from Scottish songs, to Irish songs and a football anthem for good measure! Amy was absolutely amazing! Her professionalism, fabulous talents and her grace and presence were remarkable and outstanding. Her beautiful voice and her ability to go with the flow especially with music during our meal was quite elegant as well as touching and so apt. She was absolutely amazing and definitely made our day.
