Here at Ceili Cottage it’s all about having the craic at weddings! Get your crowd up Ceili dancing, have a day 2 sing-song and enjoy some lively top quality trad music!
Available for wedding ceremonies, wedding drinks receptions, after-dinner Ceili dances and Day 2 celebrations all across Leinster. Select from a 2-4 piece trad band and 1-3 dancers based on your budget and preferences. If you are having an Irish elopement or a destination wedding in Ireland and inviting your international guests, we can offer a showcase of our Irish culture through music and dance. Our instrumentation includes guitar, fiddle, bodhran, uilleann pipes, whistle, flute, accordion, concertina and harp, along with top class ballad singers.
All of our musicians are All-Ireland level musicians and champions, and our award winning dancers are skilled in crowd entertainment and ceili calling - perfect to get your guests up and going!
We include popular Irish classics such as Whiskey in the Jar, Beeswing, Fields of Athenry, Wild Rover, Follow me up to Carlow.. all the crowd favourites! We can tailor our set to include modern songs too - just ask!

We had Courtney play the fiddle for our wedding ceremony and Ceili Cottage for our drinks reception.
They were absolutely amazing! We loved the addition of the fiddle for the ceremony.
We have had so many people comment on how brilliant they were, they really set the tone for the day. I’ve also had friends asking about booking for their own weddings/ family weddings after hearing them at ours.
Couldn’t recommend them any higher!

We had a 2-piece from Céilí Cottage playing at our drinks reception on the 4th of April in Athlone Springs Hotel, and they were honestly brilliant.
They brought such a great buzz from the start and really got people in the mood for the rest of the day, it set the tone and was exactly what we wanted.
The music was class — a really nice mix of traditional tunes with loads of energy. You could see people tapping along straight away.
They were also so easy to deal with in the run-up, no hassle at all and everything just ran smoothly on the day. Exactly what you want when you’ve a million other things to think about. Courtney is an absolute lady to deal with.
We had loads of comments from guests about how good they were. Absolutely delighted we booked them — would 100% recommend.

Ceili Cottage was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding reception. We requested traditional Irish music for our American wedding guests, and they created such a fun, unique, and interactive experience that everyone is still talking about.
The booking included Irish dancers who taught our guests three dances, and it was PERFECT. We’re not huge dancers ourselves and honestly tend to think dancing can go on a bit too long at weddings, but Ceili Cottage made the dance floor feel exciting and engaging for everyone. Instead of just open dancing, they had guests interacting, laughing, and participating together the entire time.
Our guests absolutely loved it, and it created such a memorable atmosphere that felt both authentic and incredibly fun. If you want something unique that gets everyone involved, we cannot recommend them enough.

Courtney from Ceili cottage couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. The band brought so much fun and energy to the evening and was one of my favourite parts of my daughters reception, We were so happy as parents to be able to gift this experience to the happy couple. To have the authentic Irish touch to the wedding was the icing on the cake. Our American and Irish guests absolutely loved it and Courtney read the room and had us all up dancing. Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to START! Courtney and the Céilí Cottage musicians and dancers absolutely MADE our wedding day. We’re from the States and wanted a true Irish experience with our closest family and friends, and wow, did they deliver.
Courtney played our ceremony music on violin. Walking down the aisle to She Moved Through the Fair was one of the most emotional moments of my life (my dad completely lost it). She even arranged Lord of the Rings songs for us, which was incredibly special. We are big LOTR fans and wanted a medieval fairytale vibe, so her being able to play our fav songs during our ceremony was absolutely magical.
From there, the fun really began, with the trad duo for cocktail hour, then a full trio after dinner that had everyone smiling, laughing, and dancing nonstop. It was so much fun looking through our professional pics and seeing everyone smiling and laughing in every single one.
The surprise Céilí dancers were pure magic. Every single guest ended up on the dance floor. I saw family members dance that NEVER dance at weddings, and it was hilarious and so much fun to see. The broom dance had the entire room cheering and laughing, and multiple guests told us they’d never experienced anything like it at a wedding. It was such a blast!
Beyond being insanely talented, Courtney and the team were professional, flexible, and a dream to work with. They even seamlessly adapted to a last-minute location change for the cocktail reception from outside to inside without missing a beat. They didn’t just play music…they were the life of the party and created joy, connection, and memories we’ll cherish forever. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I wish we could experience it all over again!

Ceili Cottage played at our pub night during our wedding weekend in Dublin, and they were phenomenal. The vibes were immaculate, and all of our guests raved about how talented they are.
Not only are they musically gifted, but they are also genuinely lovely people and highly professional.

We booked Ceili Cottage for the Day 2 of our wedding, bringing Irish trad music to an outdoor drinks reception. They were brilliant, creating a magic atmosphere that all of our guests enjoyed. Courtney was really helpful and accommodating in organising the band with us, and each of the members were so friendly and upbeat on the day. Their enthusiasm for their music really shines through in their performance, would highly recommend!

We found Ceili Cottage on Instagram and booked them and to our delight we were at a wedding 10 weeks before our own and were only delighted to see Courtney and the gang playing at the drinks reception.
We were even more excited to have them play at our wedding as they were fantastic at our friends.
We got them to play in between the meal and the night time band and they were the perfect pick me up after a big meal and deffo got the party started and people in the mood for dancing.
Our venue has an old style pub on site and I’ve never seen so many people packed into a small space it was incredible. All our guests were talking about Ceili Cottage when we were meeting them days after the wedding.

Ceili cottage were responsive and helpful from the start. They very clearly set out their different band options and the addition of a "ceili caller" dancer to help teach people some basic steps was so worth it! Our guests loved the chance to mix and get to know each other. The band were so chill and professional on the day - highly recommend!

Myself and my partner Declan chose Ceili cottage to kick off the day for our day 2 wedding celebrations and we are so so happy we chose them. We had Emma and Callum, who were both extremely friendly and talented. The range of music they played was such a good balance to get the day going, also taking requests. All of our guests spoke so highly of them afterwards and I can’t wait for an occasion to pop up where we can book them again. We went for the four-piece option as our evening entertainment, and could not be any happier. Ceili Cottage were THE BEST ...they played the perfect mix of trad and modern music, and got everyone up and dancing! We loved that it wasn't too loud for people at the back of the marquee to still be chatting without having to shout over the music. Absolutely perfect. Wish we could do it all over again. Thank you!!

They were absolutely fantastic. Arrived early to set up and ready to start the party off which they sure did. Played some great songs and guests were up on the dance floor from early till they finished.

What an amazing experience! As a bride, I was worried about day 2 - would people be hungover? Would they be too tired for another party? Ceili Cottage but those thoughts to bed! They were perfect to get the party going for what was an amazing night! We had many song requests during the night, each one received delightfully by the performers, they even played a reel for our niece to dance to! We had the best day 2 after our wedding, I hope to see them performing again one day! Thank you!!!

Courtney, Niall and Callum from Ceili Cottage played the most beautiful music at our Wedding in July. Between the ceremony music and the lovely mix of trad and pop and then the reception...everyone was talking about the music! One of my favourite moments was coming in from the photos after the ceremony and the guys set off with some reels and we had the best bop! Courtney made it so easy for my friends and family to get involved with the music as well which made the day so special to us. It was the best decision to book Ceili Cottage! xx

The group from Ceili Cottage we had play the drinks reception of our wedding was honestly one of my favourite memories of the day! They were incredible and really set the whole tone for the day. Courtney and the gang performed as a 3 piece at our day 2 and it was just unreal! They were fun, interactive, had myself and my brother as well as my little niece up playing and dancing.
There can be some sore heads at a day 2 and ceile cottage are just. the remedy you need.

Courtney and the gang were just sensational, from beginning to end of the evening. They began with a very special surprise performance by my hubby and his best man, with Cottage Ceili playing beautifully with them. My hubby says they were incredibly helpful and accommodating when he came to them with the idea prior to the wedding. It was such a special experience. The dancers were such a treat for the guests, providing a powerful display of talent. The ceili dancing got everyone up having fun and the dance floor remained full the whole night through due to the brilliant variety of music performed. Cottage ceili were a joy to work with and made our wedding night so memorable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Courtney is very quick at coming back to emails. No issue with comms at all.

Everything right from the beginning of booking right until the final note played was beyond my wildest dreams. We were thrilled to have ceilí cottage play during our drinks reception and for an hour after dinner before our band started. Our day was jam packed and there was no lull while the band was setting up which we had noticed at other weddings which is something we didn’t want.
As an Irish dancing teacher I had 10 of my students dance with me at the wedding along with my brother. They were more than happy to facilitate this and even learned two of my favourite tunes for us to dance to.
After our performance Courtney called two ceili dances for all of our guests to join in on, I couldn’t believe the amount of my guests who took part, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, some said it was the highlight of their night.
We would highly recommend using Ceilí cottage for your wedding, they were so easy to deal with in the run up to the wedding and the music was phenomenal.

We booked Ceili cottage to provide music in the Sibin for late night music in the residence bar in our venue. They were absolutely incredible, very professional, had the music all going for when our guests started trickling down. Ceili Cottage is a band you won't be able to live without. They are accommodating, available, warm, and open to all your secrets. We didn't notice the two hours of music go by. Even though we were a few minutes late, they were very attentive. We prepared a surprise together and organized a small concert as the opening dance. Courtney Cullen played our wedding ceremony music recently, and wow, every bit of it was perfect. From the minute we contacted her she was professional and very friendly to deal with, and had no problem with our selection of music. We chose a mixture of traditional Irish and modern music and each time she played our choices during the ceremony, it was exactly how we hoped it would be.
Some of our music choices were Superman - Five For Fighting, Beeswing - Christy Moore, and Mr Brightside - The Killers, so you can imagine how talented Courtney is to be able to play each one of these for a wedding! Honestly, could not recommend Courtney more.

We had Ceili Cottage as our day 2 band in the fabulous Rathsallagh House last week. They were so good, they packed out the bar with every guest and filled the house with fantastic Irish music. Courtney played violin for our church wedding ceremony and she did such an incredible job with our song choices. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on the music, it was beautifully played and no song request was an issue. We then had Courtney and Ciaran play at our drinks reception in Bridie's Bar and people were up dancing almost right away! Courtney and Ciaran were amazing on the day. The music was perfect and was exactly as we imagined. Their list of songs is extensive but they even accommodated a request for a song we wanted for the ceremony.

We had Ceili Cottage provide our guests with entertainment during the drinks reception at our wedding. Every single guests told us how brilliant they were. Courtney and her team are nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Their communication was flawless in the entire lead up to our wedding which really lifted so much stress from our shoulders. The absolute quality they provide is on another level, from the ceilí caller to the band, they’ll wow your guests and you. Our entire wedding party had so much fun and are still talking about it. Ceilí cottage were also so accommodating and flexible for us, when our dinner timings got delayed and it pushed into our speeches and then into their time slot, they were so patient and calm. My husband and his father had requested to play a song before the band started up and since we were travelling from Canada, asked if it would be possible to borrow their guitars. They had no problem in doing this for us and were so kind in the whole process. It’s extremely rare to find a vendor/service of such immense quality but also amazing communication and flexibility. I would highly highly recommend Ceilí cottage for your next event. Thank you so much again Courtney and team!!

We wanted to book céilí cottage for our wedding reception based on amazing feedback from friends of ours attending another wedding. Unfortunately, they weren’t available but we were delighted we secured them for our day two event in Wicklow town. Courtney & Ciarán were absolutely brilliant! We booked the Ceili Cottage trad trio for our day 2 party last month and my god they didn't disappoint! The group had our guests up singing on chairs and dancing a Ceili in no time! Courtney was a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole booking process, nothing was too much of an ask, and the band took requests on the night which made it even more special for our group - especially my family from Carlow who got to roar along to Follow Me Up to Carlow! Courtney was absolutely incredible, we couldn’t have dreamed of more amazing music for our wedding ceremony and reception. She was so professional. We could have listened to her play forever and it added so much to the ceremony. All of our guests commented on the beautiful violin and piano accompaniment that Courtney and her pianist provided. Myself and my partner had our wedding in the garden area of the Strawberry Hall Pub. We booked Céilí Cottage (three piece) for our drinks reception as guests arrived at the venue.
I dealt with Courtney over email who replied straight away and was a dream to deal with. The band were all there on time as promised with zero issues. They were absolutely amazing and all our guests were raving about them.
Our only issue is the fact we didn't get a chance to sit down for the two hours and enjoy the music more!!!
Would highly recommend them for any wedding or event you may have. Couldn't fault them whatsoever.

Courtney, Tim and Ciaran were amazing!!! Highly recommend them to anyone getting married. We were so delighted with our ceremony music especially and all of our guests were so complimentary of it too, they played so beautifully. Ceili Cottage were absolutely amazing. We booked them for our wedding day two party. We booked the 3 musician 2hr option. We got Courtney, Cormac & Richie (They were brilliant). They were so easy to deal with. Courtney was very responsive and flexible with start times. After we booked them they dealt directly with the venue so I didn't have to coordinate anything. All our guests absolutely loved them and tried to bribe them to play longer. They even allowed one of our groomsman to sing a few songs with them. Great addition to a party. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Ceili cottage played the music at my wedding ceremony. My sister accompanied them singing and I couldnt compliment them enough. Courtney was very attentive in responding to messages, they arranged a practice with my sister before the ceremony and were willing to play any song that she wanted. I asked Ceili Cottage to accompany me on Violin and guitar for my sister’s wedding and they were just brilliant. I was very nervous singing for my sister’s wedding and Courtney and Richie were just so helpful and really put me at ease. I was also acting as bridesmaid and they made the whole thing so easy. They finished off the ceremony with some crackin reels that got everyone going. All the guests raved about the music. I couldn’t recommend Ceili Cottage enough, they really are top class.

Ceili Cottage Trad was huge hit at our pre-wedding welcome dinner. I can speak for all of our guests when I say, they added a perfect touch to our festivities. Very authentic Irish music. It was just what we were looking for (we are from Boston, MA). They really set the tone, and provided a delightful welcome to everyone’s arrival in Ireland. Courtney also performed during our ceremony the next day. We cannot recommend her enough. She is a fabulous musician. Everyone needs to have ceili cottage be a part of their wedding day!

We had Ceili Cottage perform at both our wedding and our Day 2 celebration, and they were fantastic! The group is incredibly talented and very accommodating. Courtney was especially helpful in the lead-up to the wedding, ensuring everything went smoothly.

I’m from the USA and got married in Bray. Needless to say - finding a band in a foreign country is overwhelming. Finding a band that fits the vibe of the wedding is even more overwhelming.
We came upon Ceili Cottage and I was put at ease. They were so communicative, forthcoming with what they can offer and how they can mend to your style, and they also had an Instagram/ samples to share.
If you don’t hear their samples and immediately see and hear incredible talent - I would be quite surprised but I’m writing this to share that beyond the sample, they were hands down the most talented band I’ve heard.
They played soft music for our entry/ exit from the ceremony and then played our cocktail hour with fun pop/ rock songs combined with traditional Irish music. Our crowd was up on their feet immediately and didn’t stop. Everyone kept saying, “Those musicians are awesome!”, “His voice was great.”, “I can’t believe that they played x for us.”
Lastly, I was sitting at my reception and the band came and found me long after they were finished to congratulate me. I will never forget how thoughtful they were.
I wish they lived closer to me because I would hire them over and over.

If you don’t hear their samples and immediately see and hear incredible talent - I would be quite surprised but I’m writing this to share that beyond the sample, they were hands down the most talented band I’ve heard.
They played soft music for our entry/ exit from the ceremony and then played our cocktail hour with fun pop/ rock songs combined with traditional Irish music. Our crowd was up on their feet immediately and didn’t stop. Everyone kept saying, “Those musicians are awesome!”, “His voice was great.”, “I can’t believe that they played x for us.”
Lastly, I was sitting at my reception and the band came and found me long after they were finished to congratulate me. I will never forget how thoughtful they were.
I wish they lived closer to me because I would hire them over and over.

Highly recommend! We booked a 3-piece, 2-hour set for our wedding rehearsal dinner and could not be happier with their work. They were not only incredibly responsive leading into our event, but very receptive of song requests. They played a wonderful balance of well-known pop/folk songs, high-energy traditional Irish music, and beautiful ballads. They set up and started playing as dinner wrapped up, and then continued to play throughout the drinks reception to create a pub-like atmosphere for our guests.
They are wonderful and impressive musicians. Not only did they sound beautiful, but they truly created a wonderful atmosphere to provide our guests a unique, once in a lifetime experience during our time in Ireland. I would book them again and again!

So we got Ceili Cottage in for Day 2 of our wedding in a pub in Dublin. I'm from the UK so we had a lot of guests from England staying on for the "the craic' etc.
We thought we had planned it well with a bit of background music and a few pints. Discussing the big wedding day and what a success it had been.
Little did we know Richie & Tim would come and steal the show. They were the unexpected but undisputed highlight of the wedding weekend for most of our guests with a load of singalongs.
Bride and groom featured in video trying and failing to make it all about us again with a bit of dancing.
Brilliant fun, brilliant service, really couldn't recommend more.

We had a solo violin music for our ceremony in August. From our initial meeting Courtney was amazing, she was so flexible and had absolutely no problem in learning any new songs. She even sent us a recording of a song that we weren't sure about initially which ended up being the song that I walked down the aisle to. Now, I have that small clip forever and every time I watch it I cry with the emotion wrapped up in it. She was amazing, we were in tears from the moment the music started. She is incredibly talented and everyone commented on the music and the talent displayed on the day. She was completely professional and we would recommend her to everyone. Honestly, the whole experience was unforgettable!

Couldn't speak highly enough about the Ceili Cottage. Super professional, super flexible and really added to a great day. We were debating whether or not it was a good idea to have a second piece of music after the meal, but I noew genuinely don't think it makes sense NOT to. It got everyone on their feet, mixed people up and was the right length to be good fun without having to people to tired. 10/10 would hire again!

We booked Ceili Cottage as one of the bands for the Day 2 of our Wedding on the 3rd of Dec. We had lots of guests travelling from overseas and knew we wanted an Irish trad band to welcome people for the day ahead.
WOW. These guys were amazing. They really set the tone for the day ahead and got everyone excited and the sore heads from the night before were soon forgotten.
Courtney was a dream to deal with and everything ran smoothly. Lottie was super friendly on the day and they gave us a performance to remember.

We booked ceili cottage for our reception drinks and ceremony music in august 2022 and they were incredible! The guests are still two months later talking about how amazing they were, they made the ceremony so special and created a lovely happy atmosphere for the reception. Communication was on point and so professional. Thanks again guys x

We booked Ceili Cottage to perform for 3 hours after the groom's rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. I can't say enough positive things about them. Our guests LOVED them. They were perfect for (both) our Irish guests and our other guests from all over the world who had no previous touchstone to Irish culture. Everyone was up dancing, whether they knew what they were doing or not. It was festive and infectious and helped set the tone for the whole 2 day upbeat event. The mix played was trad but young and modern. All the musicians were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. Courtney, the booking manager is extremely responsive and professional. They delivered on everything from on time arrival and set up through to a wonderful performance. I will be recommending them to my other family members.

Ceili Cottage were fantastic. They played our wedding day two and they were brilliant. Everyone really enjoyed the music and had great craic! Courtney was so great to deal with from the first email. I would recommend Ceili Cottage to any couple who want some great entertainment at their wedding.

We booked Ceili Cottage for our day 2 wedding brunch and I couldn't have been happier! They were so skilled and the music was so upbeat and fun. Their music actually made our wedding brunch one of my favorite parts of our wedding. Courtney was so responsive and professional. I?d book them again in a heatbeat and I can't recommend them enough! 10 out of 10 for sure!

We had ceili cottage play at our day 2 and they where so enjoyable and fun we had a few sore heads that day do I know having the trad music was a great I've breaker to get everyone moving again. We had a few dances and it was just great to have a fun atmosphere ????

The quality of traditional music was excellent and really helped to create a lively upbeat atmosphere for the drinks reception. We could sense the atmosphere as soon as we entered the room with many of our guests saying how much they enjoyed the music.

Also, I had asked my best friend to sing "Galway Shawl" as I walked down the aisle, which they accompanied. She was nervous until she spoke to the band, who put her at ease straight away. They played the reception afterwards and my partner's grand-uncle loved them, he was dancing around them! It made us so happy to see them be such a hit. The music at my ceremony and reception was complimented by so many guests. I honestly cannot believe my luck in having found them. Thank you for making our day so special, I'll never forget it x
