Shane and the team at Inishlacken Strings played during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception at Horetown House this May. They played so beautifully and had such a wonderfully mixed repertoire - there was something for everyone! Shane was so great to work with coming up to the wedding - from my first inquiry email he was so responsive and helpful. We couldn't recommend Inishlacken Strings enough!

We are so lucky to have found Shane by a quick Google search for our destination wedding in Dublin, Ireland. From the beginning, he was so kind and very responsive, offering a variety of musicians to suit our vibe. We went with the quartet and wouldn’t have it any other way. They were absolutely perfect! They played a mix of popular hits and traditional wedding tunes. They learned 3 American songs for us (Power of Love, Wagon Wheel, and Feathered Indians) for us to walk down the aisle to, and it was magical! The first time I cried during the wedding. I wish they were in the States, so we could hear them again and again! Or, we’ll just have to visit again. Forever in our hearts… Thank you!

Shane & Meabh played at my wedding in City Hall and they were a dream to deal with from start to finish. All communication with them was easy and reassuring. I initially wasn't sure that string music alone could bring my vision to life - I wasn't sure that the style of songs I wanted could work without vocals and more instruments. Shane truly surprised me with the range of songs they have done and could do. He made me feel comfortable that what I wanted could be achieved. They were so easy to work with and the music on the day was magical. Just beautiful - I would highly recommend to anyone.

Shane was so awesome to work with! His communication was great and was so helpful in answering any questions that I had and was flexible when I wanted to go from a duo to a trio for our wedding day. I was able to send over a list of songs about a month before the wedding and they played all of them beautifully at the ceremony. Having them play during our ceremony and drinks reception made the experience so memorable (especially with the acoustics in our venue!) Couldn't recommend more!

We hired Inishlacken strings for my sisters ceremony and it was just magical! They played stunning music and could play almost anything we asked for. Safe to say I had tears when she walked down the aisle, mainly to the beautiful string version of Enya ‘Only time’ would definitely book again for my future wedding ;)

Shane was very helpful and responsive on the lead up to the day and The guys were absolutely amazing on the day. I was really blown away by their skill it was 10 times better than I was expecting! Got loads of positive comments from all the guests, everyone really enjoyed it. Definitely something different if you want that wow factor in the church and they were extremely affordable compared to other string trios I priced. 100% would recommend!

Inishlacken Strings played at our small church ceremony and were awesome. They are very talented musicians but were also so accommodating, cool, professional, helpful, sound, and all round brilliant. They can play anything, their music was beautiful and they played a big part in helping to make our little ceremony magical for us. I'm only sorry I didn't record the ceremony to have captured the music!

Shane & co were absolutely spectacular. We had IS as a quartet at our ceremony and drinks reception and our guests could not get enough of them. Additionally, Shane was just wonderful in the lead-up to the event ? open to song suggestions, happy to help come up with ideas, and just a true pro. We forgot to pick music for our handfasting ceremony, but the quartet surprised us with a version of "With or Without You" that will live in my memory forever. We're so grateful and cannot recommend them enough!

Shane and the team were absolutely fantastic. Shane was brilliant for keeping in touch coming up towards the wedding. Kellie & Meave played piano, violin and sang at our wedding and were really superb. Many guest commented at how beautiful the music at the church was. I can't recommend Inishlacken Strings enough, they have something for everyone with a varity of instruments.

We dealt with Shane when booking and corresponding with Inishlacken Strings. Shane is really sound and understood exactly the type of music and vibe we were looking for. We had so much positive feedback about the music at our ceremony in City Hall. The guys also played during our drinks reception afterwards. They were simply wonderful. We also found them to be more affordable than other options out there in terms of string music. I would highly recommend!

Can't recommend Inishlacken Strings enough. Such a professional, friendly and flexible (and not to mention supremely talented) group. I wanted to stray from the traditional church music and I was so happy with how accommodating they were-they seemed to know every song I threw at them. They really made the day so special for us, the music was beautiful and so many of our friends commented on the selection. I was late to the church (being the bride) and guests said they started playing early- some Christmas songs to get the crowd going-now that's what you want on your wedding day!
