Singing professionally at weddings and events for over 15 years, Scottish/Irish singer Kerry Coventry has had a long and successful career in music, as both a singer and musician.
Kerry began classical vocal training in her teens receiving a Diploma in Musical Theatre Singing by the time she was 18. She then went on to receive a degree in Music, specializing in Classical Vocal Performance in Maynooth. Alongside the classical training she also took classes in Traditional Irish Singing. She has won various titles at the Fleadh Cheoil and over the years has performed at traditional Irish music festivals throughout the country and abroad.
Alongside her degree in Music, Kerry also holds a Masters in Theology, giving her a great knowledge of liturgical music, making her a perfect choice is you are having a religious ceremony.
As well as being an accomplished singer Kerry also plays a multitude of different instruments, which will add even more versatility to your wedding or event. She also works with a large group of musicians, that all play multiple instruments, that can be booked for your day.
She plays piano, which can be incorporated into your music for the day. She has been playing the tin whistle since she was six and owns various whistles, including low and alto models. For a more original sound Kerry also plays the autoharp, an Appalachian zither used in folk music and the Inidian Shruti Box.
Thank you both so much for letting us play even a small part of such a special day!
