We don’t think it’s out of line to say your groom probably won’t have a huge opinion on how he wants his buttonhole to look. It will be a beautiful extension of your bouquet after all. The buttonhole should be inspired by the tones and florals used in your bridal arrangement but that doesn’t mean it has to match it completely.
If you have specifically asked for a certain variety of focal flower for your day, such as garden roses, your florist will stick to the main colour palette, floral ingredients and overall style for the buttonhole. If you are after an exact flower don’t forget to run it by the expert, your florist, a very large head sunflower might look great in your bouquet but it will be a bit too much for your mans lapel!
Today we’ve got a beautiful selection of complementary bouquets and buttonholes to inspire your choices.
