Kaitie and Pauric

Kaitie chose a layered lace dress with a plunging V-neckline and a large lace train. Her shoes were ivory and lace, with simple pearl earrings to complement the look.

Pauric wore a custom Joseph Abboud plaid navy suit, with a solid navy waistcoat that matched the groomsmen’s suits and a blush pink tie. He was also gifted an engraved gold pocket watch from his dad that really added to his suit and the vintage feel of the wedding.

Caroline’s dress was simple and classic, purchased in MK Bridal in Navan by a Ukrainian designer, Ria Tener. She added a touch of subtle glam with a diamanté Trimmed veil (also purchased in MK Bridal) and wore a bespoke crown made by Sarah Deering. Shoes were the ‘Carrie’ by SJP. Cian wore a navy suit and cream tie from McKenna Man, paired with brown shoes from Remus.

Kacie and Darren

Kacie wore an Allure dress from Vows! She was just about to buy a big ballgown, but when she tried on this off-the-shoulder lace dress, there was no doubt in her mind that this was ‘the one’. She picked minimal accessories because her dress was the star of the show!

Darren wore a navy suit, navy tie and grey flecked waistcoat with dark tan shoes. Since Darren wasn’t allowed to see Kacie’s dress, she suggested that he kept his suit a surprise too! So it was a lovely surprise for Kacie to see Darren’s suit for the first time on the day!

Carol and Derek

In keeping things simple, they both decided to rent their wedding day outfits. Carol rented a two-piece crepe silk dress from Covet Bridal and Derek rented his suit from Aston Quay Suit Rentals. They had a fabulous experience at both locations, saying they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and had a fantastic selection of outfits and styles.

Lorna and Jenny

Lorna wore a beautiful pre-loved handmade dress. In fact, it was the first dress she tried on! She knew it was for her, so she didn’t need to try on any others! She then changed into a shorter, white cocktail dress by Mascara for later so she could dance in it. To complement her dresses, she opted for deep red nails and shoes, which also matched Jenny’s red suit!

Here’s what Lorna says about Jenny’s gorgeous red suit: “Her suit was a big deal for us too. As a woman who wouldn’t be wearing a dress we were very conscious of finding her a suitable style that was comfortable and beautiful. We wanted a ladies suit with a feminine style with no fuss. Luckily we got it right, opting for a deep red Tommy Hilfiger ensemble that suited her hair colour and skin tone. We complimented it with cream and gold touches.”

Since they chose comfort, they didn’t bother with fake tans, Spanx or bras to adjust!

Edel and Simon

Edel wore a beautiful dress she bought in Paris, by Rime Arodaky. She had originally chosen this dress with sleeves with the Italian wedding in mind but it also worked for their Tankardstown venue. Her mum bought her second dress by Halfpenny London which was really simple and easy to wear. She wore the beale overskirt with this dress, and changed for the first dance.  Simon is good friends with the guys in Collar and Cuff so he wore a beautiful black velvet dinner jacket with black tie. They bought the same for all of the groomsmen and they looked incredible.
