It’s Valentine’s Day and although we like to think ourselves totally over the expensive bunches of roses and sparkly cards, we can’t help but come over a little extra romantic on February 14th. So today for our fashion feature we’ve taken the theme of ‘romance’ and interpreted it all sorts of ways to put together a stunning edit of some of our favourite wedding dresses for 2017!
‘Romance’ can obviously mean just about anything in a wedding dress, but for us it usually entails soft, flowing silhouettes, beautiful light fabrics, classic lines, sensuous embellishments and usually something a little flowery to top it all off (I mean we’re only human). For designers for 2017, we’re looking to the French, and to Elise Hameau and Celestina Agostino who do romance oh-so-well. We’re also looking at our Spanish designers who have nailed that effortless, youthful, bohemian romance we all hope we’ll have in our own hearts for eternity. Wherever they’re from, the gowns in today’s edit make us come over all butterflies and wheat fields, sexy breakfasts in beds and picnics in the park and just generally feeling all sorts of lovely. We hope you love them too!
