Wedding enthusiasts know her from her cult wedding blog La Love List, and fashionistas from her time as assistant designer at statement knitwear creator Sonia Rykiel, but Parisienne and La Chambra Syndicale de la Couture graduate Rime Arodaky is about to become world renowned as a modern bridal designer in her own right.
Rime’s mantra is as rock n’ roll as the designer herself – she designs pieces that give a little bit of an edge and a little bit of attitude to her brides. Modern, chic, stylish women are at the forefront of every one of Rime’s pieces, women whom the designer describes as “effortless, wild and confident”. And confidence is certainly key with most of these pieces – Rime’s brides aren’t afraid to show a bit of skin!
Clean, modern and bang-on-trend separates make up some of Rime’s more striking silhouettes. Crop tops appear in the 2015 line, as do simple sheath silk skirts and the most delicate camisoles, all made with luxurliously high end French laces and fabrics. Like many in our Designers to Watch series, Rime Arodaky goes the rebellious route of mixing some of the more daring aspects of modern fashion with timeless bridal silhouettes and the result is elegant, effortless wedding fashion fit for one seriously cool bride.
