I am convinced that if you have the right tools at hand, you can plan your wedding like a pro! I also happen to be a bit of a Trello nerd, so forgive me if I’m a little excited and geeky today. “What the heck is Trello?” you might be asking. Well, it’s a free resource used to organise absolutely anything and everything. It’s totally free and I use it for all my checklists, to-do lists, brain dump lists and more. In fact, if I’d have known about Trello before I got married, I’d have used it to plan my wedding too! Wondering how to use Trello to plan your wedding? Today I’m going to reveal 5 simple things even the newest Trello newbie can do…
1. The ultimate wedding planning board
Repurpose our fabulous wedding planning checklist into an ultimate wedding planning board. Restructure the 12 month planning checklist so it fits in with your timeline! Change the label colours to indicate priorities, and drag and drop items from your list as you tick them off.

2. Your wedding day timeline
Map out exactly who’s doing what and when on your Big Day with a special wedding day timeline Trello board. Then share the board with those who need it (your planner, MC, parents, wedding party etc). Make sure they’ve downloaded the Trello app so your wedding day timeline is easily accessible on the day.

3. Something for the wedding party
Speaking of shared boards, create a special place for your Squad to coordinate what they’re wearing, hen party plans, and anything else you’d typically see on a spreadsheet or in a What’s App group. Include photos and mood boards and make the most of the comments function to communicate!

4. Your seating chart
Create a special board just for RSVPs and guest management. Use a card for each guest, including their dietary requirements and any other special notes. Then organise it all by table! The drag and drop feature is perfect for quick changes and experimenting.

5. Thank You cards
Once all the wedding festivities have come and gone, it can be easy to think of your Thank You cards as a huge burden. The reality is that you’ve got to send them out, so use your Trello board to keep track of who you’ve written to and what your progress is.

There are loads of other amazing ways to utilise Trello Power-Ups, like calendar view and reminders, or to sync your Trello boards with Google Drive and other tools you might already be using frequently.
