One of the outstanding hoteliers and businesswomen in Ireland, Deirdre McGlone has an inspiring story to share following thirty years of ‘happy hotel-keeping’ at the multi-award winning Harvey’s Point hotel in Donegal. In addition to building and recently selling her business, she is a Lead Entrepreneur in the ACORNS programme, assisting women in start-up businesses in rural Ireland. Deirdre has been the recipient of many accolades In recognition of her contribution to the Irish hospitality industry. A board member of Donegal Tourism, Deirdre has also been appointed by the Minister for Tourism to the Industry Leaders Group, whose brief is to help to shape government policy to 2025.
Terry Lewis is a former national and international wedding award winner and now sits on the judging panel for The Irish Wedding Awards and The Wedding Industry Awards in the UK. Having won seven awards himself, he knows what to look for in an outstanding wedding supplier. As an international speaker, he’s delivered talks in America, Dubai, Athens and across England. Terry is also the author of the popular book ’12 Habits Of Successfully Booked Up Wedding Suppliers’ and creator of the internationally acclaimed wedding marketing course ‘Phoenix’ which has helped wedding professionals get booked by better-paying couples in 12 countries.
Sara Kennedy is an award winning digital marketer. She is the Demand Generation Manager in Bank of Ireland but some of you might know her from Irish Wedding Blog or Digital Marketing Training Camps. Sara has extensive knowledge in both weddings and digital marketing. She lectures in Social Media Marketing in Trinity College Dublin to masters students. In her 15 years marketing experience, she has worked in traditional marketing and right through to digital.
Mark Richardson is widely recognized as Ireland’s leading sales and communication skills expert and sits on a number of national judging panels, evaluating standards of professionalism in Irish business. Mark frequently speaks at and chairs industry conferences. He specializes in Training, Executive Coaching and Recruitment. Working in a variety of industry sectors, he is highly regarded as a professional who brings incredible energy and passion to every project he engages with and has tremendous ability to bring the very best out of people at every level. He is an experienced professional working with National/ International Corporations and SMEs and is also the Founder of Irish Mystery Shopping. Mark specializes in a variety of industries including: Radio Industry of Ireland, Pharmaceutical Industry, The Motor Industry, Financial Sector and the Irish Wedding Industry, amongst many others.
