Enzoani 2013, under the house of Benjamin Roberts, blends traditional and modern European influenced couture to create gowns for even the most discerning bride. Bold silhouettes harmonise with delicate laces and soft tulles to create strong, feminine gowns that are dramatic yet elegant. Enzoani’s mission statement that it is for brides “seeking chic silhouettes that don’t falter on fit or finish” really comes to fruition in the 2013 collection, with stunning (and sometimes intimidating) mermaid silhouettes coming to the fore. Also on display is chief designer Kang Chun Lin’s eager eye for the most sumptuous of fabrics, including fine laces and soft silk-satins, and his enthusiasm for delicate draping, gathering, feathering and embellishing each of his pieces to perfection. We swoon.
