Calling all bridesmaids! This one’s for you. One of the best ways to make a hen party super fun and interactive is with games. You’ll most likely have a group of guests from the bride’s different areas of life (work, uni, school, church, family etc). Many of them might not know one another so hen party games will be a fabulous way to have them mingling, laughing and having a great time together!
Here are some fun ideas for hen party games…
Nail Polish or Adult Movie?
Sugar Daddy? Bachelorette Bash? Pulp Friction? Are these names of nail polishes or adult films? That’s the point of the game! Break your group into two smaller teams, read out these cheeky names and have guests decide if they’re nail polish names or porn movie names.
Expert tip: do your research at home. Nobody wants their boss to stumble upon their search history for this one!
Pin the Pants on the Partner
This is a variation of the classic ‘Pin the tail on the donkey’ game. In this game, you’ll have a large photo of someone (the partner of the bride or a celebrity crush) and guests take turns to pin some pants onto them while blindfolded.
Who Knows the Bride?
Ask each guest to anonymously write out their favourite or funniest memory with the bride. The bride then reads them out and guesses who wrote them. It’s a fun way to get the bride involved in breaking the ice, especially if lots of guests don’t know each other very well.
True or False
Read out a list of statements about the bride, some are true and some are false. Make them funny and see which guests know the bride well enough to spot which statements are true and which are false.
Dance Party
Before the hen party, choose songs or artists that you know will get played throughout the night. Put all the song or artist names into a hat and each guest can choose one. When that chosen song or artist is played, you must dance to it for the entire duration of the song, no matter what you’re doing when it’s played!
Expert tip: Add fun accessories like a feather boa or glow sticks to make it even more interactive.
Old, New, Borrowed and Blue
If you’re going out for a night on the town, here’s a fun game you could play with all your guests. Each guest needs to find Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue. Once they’ve found them, they have to take a photo of or with them.
Expert tip: Post the photos in your group chat and you’ll be laughing hysterically the day after!
Never Have I Ever
This is a great drinking game to get everyone involved! You’ll find out interesting and naughty facts about one another too! Each guest goes one at a time and states something they’ve never done. Anybody in the group who has done that thing must take a drink.
Mr & Mrs / Mrs & Mrs Quiz
How well does the bride know her partner? Challenge her by asking her partner questions first, then asking her to see how many she gets right.

Wedding Film Charades
Create a list of wedding-themed movies, divide everyone into teams and then play a big game of charades. Think of movies like The Proposal, The Wedding Planner and Bridesmaids.
Advice for the Bride
Create advice cards and have all the guests write out their best wedding or marriage advice for the bride!
Don’t Say ‘Wedding’
Choose a word – we suggest ‘wedding’ that is forbidden for the duration of the hen party. Each guest will receive a candy engagement ring (or something like that). If you hear somebody say the forbidden word, you get to steal their candy engagement ring. The guest with the most rings at the end of the hen party, wins!
Drinking Jenga
Buy a classic Jenga kit, but write instructions on the pieces. Things like ‘drink one with the player to your left’ or ‘everyone takes a sip’ or ‘lose your next turn’. Play the game as usual, but as you take out pieces, follow the instructions. Whoever lets the tower topple over has to do a forfeit you agree upon before the game begins.
Toilet Paper Wedding Dresses
Break your group into smaller teams and give them rolls of toilet paper. The goal is to create a beautiful wedding dress made completely out of toilet paper. The bride gets to choose which dress she thinks is the best one!
