Gifts & Accessories for the Groom & Groomsmen!

The Groom

Grooms

Unless you’re a notably dapper dandy on a day-to-day basis, cufflinks may be one of the first accessories you’ll think of when it comes to your wedding wear – Finally, a reason to wear cufflinks for reals! They’re a great way to add a subtle joke or sentiment to the day as well as a really nice keepsake. Your team crest, a pair of cute ‘I Do’s, some drumkits or two little Bert and Ernies will do the trick. Of course if you have a set of family heirlooms, now would be the time to don them – note that giant pink pigs are considered to be just on the right side of kitsch at weddings these days.

Another cute-and-subtle way to add some colour to proceedings is with wedding socks. Impress your bride (and her mom!) by getting yours to match the shade of the bridesmaids’ dresses and give her a little glimpse of them during the ceremony. No, not the most romantic of gestures granted, but it’ll show you have been listening for the last six months.

Gifts and Accessories for Groomsmen

You don’t have to buy gifts for your groomsmen, but it’s a nice thought and even if they don’t say it, they will appreciate it. Tie the whole group together with just that – ties. Mama Wolf creates hand-embroidered ties (see above) that will be perfect for adding each guy’s personality to their attire – have a little drawing of something that represents them most sewn on, or maybe just have their nickname along the side but remember to keep it clean, it is a family show after all.

Personalised shot glassses or pint glasses for pre-wedding jitter drinks are a nice touch (drink responsibly!) as are little boxes of your friends favourite tipple and a thank you note (a ‘cheers’ will be more than apt here, of course).
