When our groom this morning, Adam first fell up the stairs at a charity fashion show, our bride Hannah spent a little time chasing her man! Obviously it all went the right way and they were married in September last year. “Both Adam and I knew our relationship was different from anything we had had before. We both are so laid back in our personalities, we just went with the relationship and ended up where we are today! Adam proposed on my birthday in April. We had went to Donegal and I was sure it was going to happen there but after a few tricks of pretending to propose nothing happened! A few days later he took me up to Newtownards for the day and he had a helicopter trip booked I was sure it wasn’t going to happen but low and behold as we flew over the ocean he pulled out a little poem and asked me to marry him! I still can’t believe he planned such a thing!” explained Hannah.
Being completely laid back about wedding planning Hannah and Adam took the planning in their stride, not getting fixated on the small things and kept loosely to a shabby chic theme. Their ceremony and reception was held in Cabra Castle, and was dressed by Event Planners NI.
“When it came to my dress I had everyone in tears with my unusual choice! I never dreamed I would suit the style I went for but I felt amazing in my Pronovias dress! I had originally fallen for a Maggie Sottero dress both fishtail but the added detail on the Pronovias option won me, my mum and bridesmaids over! I purchased it from La Boda Bridal in Banbridge, the girls were amazing and so patient!” added Hannah.

“The day went amazing just far too quickly! It’s such a strange feeling on the day it’s just like a dream you don’t feel like it’s real! The highlight of the day, for both Adam and I was actually saying our vows. They were so personal to us and even though Adam could hardly get his vows out between tears we said everything we wanted to in that moment to each other. Part of my vows were ‘He is my superman,” said Hannah.
